(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 9 provinces. In this report, 16 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 13 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province] More Practitioners Arrested

After Nancha District Police Station and 610 Office in Yichun City arrested a dozen Falun Dafa practitioners including Ms. Li Fenglan, on November 4, they arrested more practitioners including Ms. Wang Baotai.

2. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Additional Information about Ms. Wu Yefeng

In February 2009, Shenyang Guanggu Court sentenced Ms. Wu Yefeng to five years in prison. Ms. Wu has been detained at Liaoning Province Women's Prison. She went on a hunger strike as protest and was cruelly force fed. She is starting to become mentally disoriented and can no longer speak.

Ms. Tang Guizhi was taken by Gongren Police Station to Weiningying Forced Labor Camp.

4. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wu Xuesheng Taken to Mental Hospital

Mr. Wu Xuesheng has been taken to a mental hospital in Liaoxi.

5. [Beijing] Ms. Li Xiaoling Arrested

Ms. Li Xiaoling, 52, is retired from General Armament Department's Huangsi Daycare. On April 15, 2009, she was arrested by officers from Qinghe Xiaoying Police Station in the Haidian District, Beijing, when she was explaining the facts about Falun Gong at Tiankelong Supermarket in Qinghe. In June hes was sentenced to two years of forced labor. She is now in Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp in Daxing County, Beijing.

6. [Qingzhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Chengrong Detained at Qingzhou Police Station

On May 1, 2009, Mr. Li Chengrong was arrested by the Zhuliang Township Police Station in Qingzhou City. Qingzhou Public Security ransacked his home and took a 20,000-yuan bank note and more than 60,000 yuan cash that Mr. Li had prepared to build a house. Mr. Li is currently detained at Qingzhou Police Station.

7. [Qianan City, Hebei Province] Sisters Ms. Wang Fengzhi and Ms. Wang Fengling Arrested

Ms. Wang Fengzhi and Ms. Wang Fengling, sisters from Qianan City, were arrested on November 17, 2009.

In November 2004, Ms. Wang Fengzhi was sentenced once to forced labor. When she was in Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan City, she developed frequent headaches and white spots in her eyes and needed an operation. The labor camp released her. In September 2005, Ms. Wang Fengzhi was taken to a brainwash center for more than three weeks. In 2008, she was illegally detained one more time and had 5,000 yuan extorted from her.

8. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Xu Zhihong and Ms. Cai Arrested

On November 18, 2009, Ms. Xu Zhihong, over 50 yrs old, and Ms. Cai, 60, who both live in Nanchang City, were arrested by Xujiafang Police Station when the two women were clarifying the truth.

Ms. Xu is retired from Sinopharm Medicine Factory. She was arrested earlier in the year when she was clarifying the truth. She was released on bail for medical reasons.

9. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Persecution Information on Practitioners including Ms. Gao Zonghua

Ms. Gao Zonghua, Ms. Zhou Xiaolan, and Ms. Jiang were arrested just before October 1, 2009, and are currently in tohe Hefei City No. 1 Detention Center in Luosigang, Hefei City.

Ms. Xu Xiaoxian, Ms. Zhang Ping, and Ms. Wang Lin are detained at Hefei Women's Forced Labor Camp.

10. [Hefei City, Anhui Province]  Practitioners including Ms. Liu Li Arrested

On April 19, 2009, Ms. Zhu Ming, Ms. Liu Li, Ms. Zuo Qixiang, etc. from Hefei City were arrested by the Guichi Branch of Chizhou City Police Station when the women were clarifying the truth in Chizhou City. They are now in the Chizhou City Detention Center.

11. [Guangan City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Peng Zhangnan Arrested

In the evening on November 7, 2009, Mr. Peng Zhangnan from Yuechi County, Guangan City, was arrested by police from Yuechi County Public Security when he was clarifying the truth. Mr. Peng is currently detained at Yuechi County Detention Center.

12. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Xie Weide Sentenced

On October 24, 2009, Mr. Xie Weide was sentenced to a year and half even though no legal procedures were followed. He is now in the Team No. 2 of the No. 3 Forced Labor Camp in Chini Town, Huadu District, Guangzhou City.

13. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province]  Ms. Yang Qingxiu and Ms. Fu Fazhi Sentenced

Ms. Yang Qingxiu, 60 yrs old, was arrested by Xindu Police Station. On November 17, 2009, she was sentenced by Xindu Court to three years.

Another practitioner from Xindu, Ms. Fu Fazhi, 68, was arrested on March 10, 2009, at her home. She was sentenced in late September to three years.

14. [Suining City, Sichuan Province]  Ms. Liang Yuhua Arrested

Ms. Liang Yuhua, 50, lives in Gaoping Town, Pengxi County, Suining City. On November 10, 2009, when she was working on her vegetable farm, several people from the Gaoping Town local government and police station showed up and arrested her. They also ransacked her home and took Dafa books, truth clarification materials, and some personal belongings. Ms. Liang has been taken to Pengxi Police Station.

15. [Zunyi City, Guizhou Province] Mr. Cui Jianhua and Ms. Wang Jingqin Sentenced to Forced Labor

Mr. Cui Jianhua and Ms. Wang Jingqin, both employees of the Tianyi Electric Meter Factory in Zunyi City, were arrested at the end of September 2009. In October, they were sentenced to 18 months of forced labor. Their "crime" was having Falun Dafa materials saved on their computers.

16. [Xinhuang County, Hunan Province] Ms. Liu Aiping Arrested

On the morning of November 18, 2009, Ms. Liu Aiping was taken from her home by Xinhuang County 610 Office agents. Her current situation is unknown.
