Mr. Wang Guiqi from Tianjin City Arrested Again, Wife Still Imprisoned

(Minghui.org) Mr. Wang Guiqi is a Falun Gong practitioner from Daliangzi, Tanggu District, Tianjin City. He was arrested on November 21, 2012. His home was also ransacked and 10,000 yuan in cash was stolen by the police. Mr. Wang’s wife, Ms. Yin Guanghua, is still imprisoned in Tianjin Women’s Prison. Mr. Wang's mother, who is in her eighties and paralyzed, is home alone with no one to take care of her.

Mr. Wang Guiqi and Ms. Yin Guanghua, a married couple from Daliangzi, Tanggu District, went to Hangzhoudao Police Station in Tanggu District to register their residency in March 2011. They were illegally arrested when they were at the police station. The police conspired with officials from the local Domestic Security Division to arrest the couple after finding out from their records that they practiced Falun Dafa. They searched the couple’s personal belongings and confiscated Ms. Yin’s three copies of the Shen Yun DVDs and several flyers which explained the truth about Falun Gong, as well as Mr. Wang’s cell phone and house keys.

Officer Li Zhenmin from the Domestic Security Division then conspired with Feng Zhiping and Zheng from the Hangzhoudao Police Station, Si Dongwei from the Daliangzi Police Station, and officials from the residential community office to ransack Mr. Wang’s home. They confiscated three copies of Zhuan Falun and other Dafa books, a computer, DVDs, truth-clarification flyers, and other items including more than 10,000 yuan in cash that the couple had worked hard to save. They later went to search Mr. Wang’s workplace again, but didn’t find anything.

Mr. Wang was held for 15 days before being released. In November 2011, Ms. Yin was secretly sentenced to a three-and-a-half-year prison term by a judge at Tanggu District Court. She was transferred to Tianjin Women’s Prison on December 8, 2011 where she is still being held.
