(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 11 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Mr. Fang Yusheng and his wife, Ms. Chen Xuejing, were scheduled to stand trial in the Changqing District Court on May 8, 2026.
Ms. Wang Qinping is scheduled to appear in the Zhangqiu District Court on May 22, 2026.
Ms. Li Juxiang, 75, was arrested by Silipeng Police Station officers on April 24, 2026. She was interrogated in the police station and forced to sign the deposition. She was released that evening.
Ms. Cheng Donglan was harassed at home by two plainclothes officers on the morning of April 21, 2026. She was ordered to sign a list of Falun Gong materials. She refused to comply, knowing that the police were trying to use it against her.
When Ms. Cheng went to visit Ms. Zhang Yutao in the evening, Ms. Zhang’s son told her that his mother had been arrested by three officers that afternoon.
Ms. Wu Jun, 84, was arrested at home on April 8, 2026, by officers from the Hongcheng Police Station and Nanguan District Domestic Security Office. Her home was ransacked and her Falun Gong books were confiscated. She is being held in the Weizigou Detention Center.
Ms. Dong Zhongxia was harassed at home by officer Meng Xiangyong from the Zhengliang Police Station on April 21, 2026. The officer took photos of her.
Ms. Zhang Ruilian was harassed at home by three officers from the Huanggezhuang Town Police Station on April 22, 2026. They took photos of her.
Ms. Wang, first name unknown, was arrested by Fushan New Community Police Station officers on April 24, 2026. They ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books, a photo of Falun Gong’s founder, and informational materials about Falun Gong.
Ms. Guo Zhimin was tried in the Chengyang District Court on March 19, 2026, and sentenced to one year and six months in prison weeks later.
