The First National Falun Dafa Day in Australia
Hundreds of Falun Dafa practitioners from around Australia celebrated the first National Falun Dafa Day in the country' capital--Canberra. The map of Australia was formed by practitioners to symbolize the presence of Falun Dafa in the country during the last seven years. Also, given that Australians formed the map, it was an opportunity to show that there are many practicing in this country and many more to come.
SCMP: Cult law 'not aimed at [group]' [Excerpt]
A law against cults enacted in France was not targeted at Falun Gong, a spokeswoman for Hong Kong practitioners said yesterday. Religious and human rights groups have expressed fears that the passing of the French law could provide the SAR Government, which has confirmed it is studying overseas anti-cult legislation, with an excuse to adopt a similar law.
