I was forced to lead a life in hiding in 2001 due to the persecution of Falun Gong. I realized that it was absolutely not Master's arrangement for me; it was because I failed to cultivate well and failed to dissolve the arrangements of the old forces with a righteous mind.

I felt very sorrowful for having lost my normal living environment, especially a good environment to openly clarify the truth to my fellow citizens in my hometown. It became a new challenge right in front of me as to how I should cultivate myself during Fa-rectification in the future. I understood that cultivation in Fa-rectification is a precious opportunity that does not come but once in tens of thousands of years, and I was determined to walk my cultivation path with a firm belief. We have the guidance of Master and the Fa; we are sure to break through all difficulties.

Keeping the "Whole Body" in Mind, Master Will Make Perfect Arrangements for Us

I first found a temporary job to sustain myself. At the same time, I was able to find time to validate Dafa and clarify the truth. In the first two years, I wasn't able to browse the Minghui/Clearwisdom website. I had to rely on fellow practitioners to deliver Master's new articles to me from several hundred miles away.

Because the authorities tried to track me down everywhere, I suffered from hunger and cold. Without any truth-clarification materials, I had to handwrite truth clarification messages, a very slow process. Later I nailed wire netting onto a wood frame and used paint to cover the spaces between strokes of characters. Then I blended ink into cooked starch and poured it onto the wire to form the characters. Actually, this method is very similar to silk-screen printing. The difference is that all the materials were put together on site when needed and there was almost no cost, except for the expense for paper.

At that time, I held on to a thought: No matter how difficult it is, we must validate Dafa and save sentient beings. "Cultivation depends on one's own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one's master. It is good enough if you have this wish." (Zhuan Falun) As long as we Dafa disciples have a pure thought, Master will give us boundless wisdom and compassionate protection.

Later, another practitioner introduced me to a fellow practitioner capable of breaking through the Internet blockade. As a matter of fact, he only had "Freegate 4.0" software at that time, without any safety protection such as a firewall. At the very least, we were able to download Master's words and "Minghui Weekly." The evil tried its best to block the Internet. We decided to use a cellphone to browse the Internet. In order not to be tracked down, we went outside to use an Internet service and we randomly changed locations when we needed to browse the web.

At that time, those who browsed the Minghui website were the key targets for persecution. Whenever my righteous thoughts were not strong enough, I would have fear. However, I had one strong wish: Fellow practitioners need to read Master's new articles and the Minghui Weekly. I had the strength to overcome my fear with that in mind.

I was the only one making Minghui Weekly and other materials in our region and I was still in the process of learning. On top of that, the computer operated slowly. Oftentimes I was so busy that I only had time to eat one meal a day. It is so important to have the materials site operating smoothly for practitioners as a whole to cultivate well.

Once, my child was arrested and my previous residence was ransacked. Fortunately, with Master's hint, we were able to move to another place soon after the incident. I looked inward and put down the attachment to my family. At the same time, I negated the interference that the old forces imposed on us, and sent forth righteous thought to eliminate the persecution. I also broke through many difficulties to make the most recent Minghui Weekly and distribute it to fellow practitioners. I was concerned that the incident at the materials site might cause anxiety among fellow practitioners. Because my starting point was upright, my child soon returned home with Master's protection. Fellow practitioners' Fa study environment became even more stable, and everyone was doing the three things steadfastly.

I also encouraged other practitioners to learn to use the Internet. At the very least, we needed to have one practitioner capable of using the Internet in every city. Whoever learned a new computer security technique shared it with others without any hesitation.

At that time, I hadn't realized the importance of having small-scale materials sites blossom like flowers everywhere; however, I understood that it was the requirement of validating Dafa that we needed to have more practitioners capable of using the Internet. Lessons from the previous two years had taught us that we could not afford the loss if a materials site was destroyed and no other site was available to continue the work.

As a cultivator I realized the importance of keeping the needs of the whole body in mind. In "Further Elimination of Attachments" in Essentials for Further Advancement, Master taught us:

I didn't overlook any opportunity to learn new techniques. Moreover, I took detailed notes so that they could be spread among all practitioners. As a result, the materials sites blossomed like flowers everywhere in two years. It has become impossible for the evil to separate practitioners from the Minghui website.

Later on, several fellow practitioners taught me how to use a firewall, anti-virus software, anti-spyware software, system reset, and safety configuration techniques. I then updated my computer and fellow practitioners' computers immediately. If ever I forgot to install one of the security software programs, I would make a great effort to go back to the fellow practitioner's place to get it installed. Some practitioners thought I was overdoing it. However, I came to the understanding that actually everything has been perfectly arranged for us in Dafa; it is up to us to have an upright mind and to solidly cultivate ourselves. All in all, cultivation is precisely about being considerate of others.

Sharing Techniques: Let Materials Sites Blossom Like Flowers Everywhere

The Minghui website has repeatedly posted the notice to have materials sites blossom like flowers everywhere inside China. Master has given me the wisdom and the techniques. I must make the best use of this wisdom and these skills and do well in sharing and improving the techniques.

In order to encourage more practitioners to set up family materials sites, I always carry a notebook PC when I teach them computer techniques so that I can help them get rid of their notions that prevent them from learning about computers, such as that computers are mysterious and the techniques are difficult to master. I believe that practitioners have Master's strengthening and will be able to conquer all difficulties.

It only takes 4,000 to 5,000 yuan to establish a small scale materials site. With the help of a notebook computer and a wireless connection, we are able to get onto the Minghui website, read Master's new articles, and submit solemn declarations and sharing articles at anytime. We can print all kinds of materials easily with a few maneuvers of the mouse.

When helping fellow practitioners to set up a materials site, I try to give them the feeling that it is not that difficult. I also remind them to pay special attention to cultivating their speech and not to let a lot of people know of the existence of the site.

As a matter of fact, it is not easy to set up a materials site. Purchasing equipment, installing the computer operating system, setting up safety software, and teaching practitioners to use the computer: every single step takes a lot of effort. It is a cultivation process. When we choose to buy the equipment, we will make them powerful Fa instruments; we need to rectify all abnormalities inside them and eliminate interferences so that the equipment can carry out its upright function.

I think of how much Master has endured and endeavored to make arrangements for us to cultivate and to save all sentient beings in the universe. Such tremendous endurance and devotion are beyond our imagination. Only if every Dafa disciple is able to follow Master's requirements and cultivate well and fulfill our responsibilities and harmonize what is needed from us for Fa rectification can we live up to Master's compassionate and painstaking effort in saving us.

Our previous materials sites were all operated by fellow practitioners who lived in exile. The workload was huge and these practitioners did a lot of hard work. Now it's completely different. Small materials sites are everywhere. Practitioners who were responsible for material production now have more time and many of them have found jobs. They are able to cultivate themselves while maximally conforming to everyday society. They now come into contact with more people and are able to save more sentient beings.

Cultivate Ourselves Well and Maintain a Stable Material Site

I have gotten rid of many attachments and was able to correct many areas where I didn't do well, which were exposed during my cultivation over the past several years. Because my human side is relatively prominent and my righteous mind wasn't strong enough, many things were delayed and a lot of time was wasted. When I had the attachment of showing off and wanted to validate myself, I ran into problems which made me lose face. As a result, I failed to complete some tasks which I ought to have done well. When the attachment of zealotry arose, oftentimes all my previous efforts ended up in vain. When I put emphasis on my talent and skills while ignoring the essence of cultivation, I was using a human mindset to do things and I achieved very little despite great effort, which exhausted me. On such occasions, fellow practitioners often alerted me that "It is not normal work, but cultivation practice." When the attachment of fear develops, I ask others to take responsibility for risky projects, because human thoughts are all self-centered.

This is the very first time I've ever submitted an article for the Experience Sharing Conferences on the Internet. I wished to share a little bit of my understandings and what I have done. Please kindly correct me if there is anything inappropriate in my sharing.
