Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Bo and her family have lived in exile for the past few years while exposing the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution against Falun Gong. Now, Ms. Wang and her parents have been illegally arrested again. Participating in the arrest were officers from the Dalian City National Security Bureau, Dalian City 610 Office, the Dalian City Police Department, the Ganjingzi Police Department and the Yingchengzi Police Station. They secretly arrested Wang Bo and her parents Wang Xinzhong and Liu Shuqin on the evening of July 27, 2006.
Before Wang Bo’s family started cultivating in Dafa, her parents were sick and didn’t get along very well. They were planning to divorce after Wang Bo started high school. Wang Bo had played the piano but stopped her practice in 1995. The whole family started cultivating in Dafa in July 1996. They conducted themselves according to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, became considerate of others and looked inward for their shortcomings. Wang Bo’s parents started communicating openly with each other and began to understand each other. The family became harmonious and happy, and all of their illnesses disappeared.
Wang Bo picked up her piano practice again. Dafa endowed her with outstanding intelligence, and her grades improved steadily. In 1999, 18-year-old Wang Bo received very high grades on her college entrance exams. She was accepted into the Central Conservatory of Music, Tianjin Conservatory of Music, and Hebei Normal University. Falun Gong brought true joy to a family that once was on the verge of a break-up.
The wicked CCP and Jiang's group started a thorough persecution of Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, and brought tremendous disasters to countless families in China. Wang Bo and her parents are one of these persecuted families.
Wang Bo’s father Wang Xinzhong was an official at the Machine Maintenance Section for the Shijiazhuang Railroad. At the beginning of the persecution he appealed to the government for justice for Falun Gong but was savagely persecuted. Over the past several years he was expelled from the CCP, removed from his post, transferred to another job, and his salary was suspended.
In May 2001, a group of Shijiazhuang City 610 Office agents barged into Wang Xinzhong’s office at work and savagely beat him. They shocked him with electric batons, hit him with police batons and beat and kicked him until his left eye was filled with blood and his lower back was injured. They took him away, but he later escaped with the power of his righteous thoughts. However, he was forced to live away from home to avoid further persecution. He went home to see his daughter in late 2001, but his daughter Wang Bo who had been brainwashed at the time, led 610 Office agents, and together they sent Wang Xinzhong to the Hebei Provincial Brainwashing Center. During more than four months of detention, he suffered from long-term brainwashing and other cruel mental torment. He broke free from the detention on May 12, 2002.
A group of people organized by the Central Propaganda Department, the Xinhua News Agency, the Hebei Province 610 Office, and the Dalian City 610 Office went to the Hebei Provincial Brainwashing Center in late March 2002. They deceived Wang Bo’s family and interviewed them. The Focal Point Interview and Xinhua News Agency twisted and quoted out of context Wang Bo's and her family’s words to slander Dafa, and brainwash and poison the public.
Wang Xinzhong freed himself from the brainwashing center on May 12, 2002 and didn’t return home. The brainwashing center authorities feared Wang Xinzhong would expose the lies of the Focal Point Interview. The Hebei Province 610 Office and the Dalian City 610 Office thus devoted a large police force to pursue Wang Xingzhong everywhere.
On August 18, 2002, Wang Xinzhong publicly exposed the fact of the cruel brainwashing by the 610 Office agents and the lies from the CCTV Focal Point Interview. He told of the barbaric tortures and nonstop mental abuse behind the so-called "spring breeze and gentle rain-like care, education and rescue" campaign, as claimed by the CCP regime.
The Hebei Province 610 Office authorities were furious when the truth was exposed. They posted an arrest warrant for Wang Xinzhong at the front gate of the provincial government and posted a large reward for his capture. Wang Xinzhong went to Shanxi Province to avoid arrest, but was arrested in Shanxi Province in late October 2002.
Wang Bo’s mother Liu Shuqin was fired from her bank job for her firm belief in Falun Dafa. She was arrested and detained many times. Ms. Liu was arrested while homeless in late 2001 when clarifying the truth to people. The persecutors sentenced her to three years of forced labor and held her at Division 5 at the Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp. Liu Shuqin was forcefully subjected to brainwashing many times at the labor camp.
Wang Bo went to Beijing to appeal for justice in December 2000 after her freshman year in college. Officers from the Yudong Police Station in Shijiazhuang City sent her to the Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp where she was the youngest detainee. She was expelled from school for refusing to renounce her belief in Dafa.
Wang Bo was sent from that labor camp to the Xinan Forced Labor Camp in Beijing in April 2001, where she was subjected to additional brainwashing. She was deprived of sleep for six consecutive days and was savagely tortured. Wang Bo was sent to the Hebei Provincial "Legal Education Center" for brainwashing in November 2001. There she was brainwashed and forced to persecute other Dafa practitioners. Wang Bo had been deceived by the wicked CCP and aided the police to arrest her father who was visiting her and send him to a brainwashing class.
The CCTV Focal Point Interview broadcast another edited program that twisted the truth about Wang Bo’s family. The Xinhua News Agency and other media fabricated the lies. After the wicked CCP succeeded in deceiving the public using Wang Bo’s family, Li Lanqing, head of the central CCP 610 Office personally approved Wang Bo's return to school, to further control Wang Bo’s family.
Wang Bo returned to the Central Conservatory of Music in September 2002. During her three-year study at the Conservatory, agents from the Hebei Province 610 Office and from the Dalian City 610 Office showed great "concern" for Wang Bo by sending a female police officer to "accompany her study" at all times. The officer monitored and controlled her every move. During the October 1, 2002 seven-day holiday, Wang Bo was directly sent to the Hebei Provincial Brainwashing Center after she had returned to Shijiazhuang City from the Conservatory.
The CCP feared exposure of their crimes. They closely watched and controlled Wang Bo and her family during the past few years and waited for opportunities to persecute them. Wang Bo and her family were forced to leave their home to avoid further persecution.
Wang Bo published her experience of allowing herself to be deceived and manipulated by the CCP on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website in December 2005. She wrote, "I now realize how sinister they were, to have fooled me with smiles on their faces. If they had treated me harshly I could have remained clearheaded. But whenever they approached me, they always kept a beaming smile; yet the tricks they used were the most wicked. Invariably, they do everything they can to find out your worries. When they see that you are concerned about your father, they try to achieve their evil goal by taking advantage of that sensitive point." Her article told of her painful experience at the labor camp and brainwashing classes, the making of the Focal Point Interview program, and the background of the "self-immolation" incident at Tiananmen Square. Ms. Wang's article clearly exposed the base and malicious methods the wicked CCP has employed over the past seven years.
The incidents of Wang Bo’s family leaving home, and Wang Bo’s article being published frightened the wicked CCP. They used the police, spies and all methods to search for the family's whereabouts.
The CCP arrested the family again on the evening of July 27, 2006. It was learned that spies headed by Chen Xin from Dalian City and some from Hebei Province surrounded Wang Bo’s family's rented home in Yingchengzi, the Ganjingzi District, Dalian City. They climbed over the wall and broke in. The abusers immediately started fanatically beating Wang Bo and her parents and took them away in secret. Their current whereabouts are unknown.
