(Clearwisdom.net) Several days ago, I saw a fellow practitioner. She told me how she had recovered from a severe burn in only eight days. I was deeply moved and decided to organize her story and share it with others.
On the evening of February 3, 2007, my husband was boiling water in a big aluminum pot to wash the bedding for his father, who had been paralyzed for many years. He put the pot on the floor without a lid. I had just come out of the shower and was about to put my clothes on. My leg accidentally touched the edge of the pot. The excruciating pain made me loose my balance and I sat on the pot, flipping it over. There I was, sitting on the floor with the boiling water all over me, and the pain was unbearable. I was shaking uncontrollably. Unable to bear the pain, I cried, "Teacher, Teacher, Help! Teacher, please help me! I can no longer take it!" A miracle happened! All of my pain disappeared. It only lasted about five minutes from the beginning until the end of my pain. I knew that in other dimensions, Teacher had relieved the pain. My gratitude could not be described with words.
I do not know how long I cried before I got up. I saw fist-size blisters in my back, waist, buttocks, thighs, and arms. Over 20 percent of me was burned. I could not sit, put on clothes, lie down, or even lie on my side. Even if I laid down on my chest, my back needed to be exposed.
Facing such a tremendous tribulation, Teacher already sustained so much for me. Now it was up to me to believe in the Fa and Teacher and pass the test. Teacher said, "It's hard to endure, but you can endure it. It's hard to do, but you can do it." (Zhuan Falun) I was determined to pass this test. With the guidance of Dafa, I would make the miracle happen so that my family, relatives, and more people will come to learn the truth about Dafa and choose a bright future.
My husband wanted to call my relatives so they could convince me to go to the hospital. I stopped him. I was calm and did the housework as if nothing had happened. I could only stand but I did not feel pain or fatigue. Seeing this, my husband was worried but also puzzled. It was the coldest time of the year. Although we had indoor heating, we needed to cover up while we slept. However, since I was burned, my back and legs had to be exposed. I did not feel cold at all. It was truly miraculous.
My neighbor, a retired nurse, asked me to go to hospital. She told me that it would take at least half a month to recover even if I was treated in hospital and assuming there was no infection. She also told me the serious consequences if I did get an infection. My heart was still not moved. I insisted but I let her open the blisters and release the fluid inside. My husband had to agree and said, "OK, if you truly recover, I will believe in Dafa, I will practice Falun Gong!"
Every morning, my neighbor helped me to open the blisters. One day, two days, three days... everyday my wounds improved. On the seventh day, my neighbor could not come. I felt that I had basically recovered. There were no scars, and the newly grown skin was smooth. I then took a shower.
On the eighth day, I was about to go shopping with my daughter when my neighbor came by. She examined my wounds carefully and said, "This is very good. It did not even leave a scar. Without any medical treatment, you completely recovered in eight days (actually seven days). It is incredible in the medical field. Your Teacher is indeed watching over you. Dafa made another miracle! You are truly lucky."
Since then, both my husband and my neighbor began to practice Falun Gong. They quickly had improvements in their own health. My husband had acute kidney failure in 2002. None of the medical treatments helped, and he had to rely others to care for his daily life. Now he is completely recovered. His kidneys shrank before and now they are normal size. His friends in the past that also had kidney failure all passed away. Now my husband can help me with the housework. We study the Fa together and strive forward together. Our relatives all have learned the truth. They withdrew from CCP, and chose a bright future. Teacher and Dafa saved me, my family, relatives, and many more sentient beings.
At last, this practitioner said, "Teacher suffered so much for me and my family...... I cannot express my gratitude in words. In my future cultivation, I will walk every step steadily and improve my xinxing, rectify myself in doing the three things, and reach the realm of the new universe and meet Teacher's expectations!"
