Falun Gong practitoner Mr. Feng Zhen was abducted into a brainwashing center on his release day after being imprisoned for seven years.
In November and December 2008, the 610 Office and police in Fangzi District, Weifang City, Shandong Province arrested Falun Gong practitioners, confiscated their personal belongs, and extorted money from their families.
Ms. Zhang Yujie, a Falun Gong practitioner almost 60 years old, is retained in custody despite health problems because of demands for bribe money.
Her arrest is the latest in a series of arrests and persecutions.
An attorney who defended practitioners in court loses his license to practice. Others involved, including Mr. Yan Shoulin, are arrested themselves.
The CCP court in Huanggu District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province tried Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Zhao Zhanbo and Mr. Chen Xinye, using the "evidence" of blank CDs.
