(Clearwisdom.net) The Divine Performing Arts (DPA) New York Company completed its third show in Montreal's Place des Arts theater on the evening of January 17, 2009. The audience gave high marks to this show, which focuses on Chinese classical dance and vocal art, and showcases the essence of China's 5000 years of traditional culture.
Alvin, an author, attended the DPA show in Montreal and said that he was deeply impressed by the artists' wonderful performance and message of pure compassion.

Alvin loved every piece in the performance. He felt that the show "wakes me up inside, cheers me inside, and unlike a common dance, it knocks at our heart."
Alvin found that the DPA show unique in that it conveyed messages in the most beautiful manner--especially the scenes of heavenly paradises and the images of gods and Buddhas, which conveyed the message of love.
Mary is a marketing director at a large retail company. She and her husband Mark attended the third show in Montreal. Mary said that she often organized fashion shows, so she paid great attention to the visual effects of the show. She commented that the show's visual effects were moving. The fabric of the costumes was extraordinary, and the silk enhanced the show.
Mary was also taken by brilliant and gorgeous costumes and unique musical performance. She found that the effect was terrific when many dancers were on stage performing at the same time, coupled with the effect of their costumes.

Mark continued by saying that the show reflected social values such as peacefulness and compassion, which are very important. The contrast between good and evil was very well done, with the good ultimately triumphing over evil, and good people being rewarded. He thought this was a very important message for society.

Allen was also impressed by the beautiful costumes and colors, such as bright
orange, blue and green. He said that he learned something about Chinese culture
from the show, and appreciated that it showcased something passed down for
thousands of years in China.
Dennis Beffer is in charge of a transportation company. He was interviewed during the intermissions, and he commended the show for being of high caliber. He loved the beautiful colors of the costumes.
Mr. Beffer said that he had not known much about Chinese culture before, but he learned a lot from the show. He said that his favorite piece was "Dance of the Snow-Capped Mountain." He was taken by the dancers' agility and lightness. He said that they looked noble and full of energy. He was also impressed by the dance "The Udumbara's Bloom."
He concluded by saying that the dances by men brought out the energy, and the dances by women brought out softness and beauty. He learned a lot about Chinese culture from Chinese classical dance.
