(Clearwisdom.net) Blazing new trails by reviving old traditions in the dance world, Divine Performing Arts has won the hearts of legions of new fans, and its unique style and irresistible grace has some Montrealers gushing in admiration.
Eric, a real estate manager did not hold back his praise as far as the Chinese New Year Spectacular was concerned, "We loved every piece of it, especially the dresses, the music, the vibrant energy. We did feel the energy and talent of the artists, they were giving 100% to make sure that we could experience the traditional culture, and all the best of Chinese culture. It worked wonderfully."
His friend Alexander, an educator of young children from zero to five years of age nodded in agreement, saying, "We liked everything. I liked the wisdom from 1,000 years ago [reflected in the performance], which is more important in this time that we are living in, and I felt the message and awareness. The way they moved so easily, so beautifully! We really enjoyed it, very, very much."
Mike Antoniades, a retired bank executive, gave his impression of the DPA, "I'm enjoying all the national dances...this is it! It's very interesting, it's the first time I've seen something of this nature. The dancing is exceptionally well coordinated, the dancers are very well trained, and I must admit, the movements are very well synchronized, which makes it very impressive." When asked about his reaction to the spiritual aspect of the show, he paused for a moment and said, "The message it was trying to convey is that there is a world out there that is beyond materialism, there is some spiritual world."
Joyce is a manager of an appliance company. Her eyes sparkled with excitement over the splendid programs as she enthusiastically commented, "I really enjoyed the show! Such soft music, very, very beautiful! I recommend it to everyone! The movements, the nice costumes... it's really soft and relaxing, too."
David, who teaches tango and ballroom dance, shared his perspective from a professional point of view, "The dancers are out of this world! I thought it was very beautiful, they moved as one person. We are part of a dance school, too, and when we move together, it's usually only two [people], and here you had many that moved as one, and very beautifully."
In the meantime, his colleague marveled at the incredible skills of the dancers, "It was a pleasure to watch, it was a real treat! The talent of the dancers is remarkable, and it was great to see."
