(Clearwisdom.net) As the Chinese New Year approaches (January 26), Divine Performing Arts (DPA) held two shows at SUNY-Purchase College's Performing Arts Center on January 23 and will hold a series of shows at Radio City Music Hall, in New York, at the State Theater in New Brunswick, New Jersey and at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark from January 24 to 27. Through these performances, audiences will enjoy the essence of the 5,000-year-old Chinese culture.
Divine Performing Arts has received many letters of congratulations and official proclamations from the Governor of New Jersey, Senators, Congressmen and other New Jersey government officials.

These elected officials praised Divine Performing Arts for their efforts in promoting traditional Chinese culture and their contribution to the communication between Western and Chinese culture. They also expressed appreciation for DPA's offering the larger community such a wonderful Chinese New Year celebration.
The State Senate and General Assembly of New Jersey passed a joint legislative resolution by Senator Barbara Buono and Assemblymen Patrick Diegnan and Peter Barnes, acknowledging Divine Performing Arts' significant contribution to their communities.

James Cahill, Mayor of New Brunswick, where the State Theatre is located, and Cory Booker, the Mayor of Newark, home of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, also sent letters to DPA, welcoming them to their cities. Mildred Crump and eight other City Council Members issued a proclamation to Divine Performing Arts on behalf of the Newark City Council.
