(Clearwisdom.net) On January 6, 2009, the twin city Kitchener-Waterloo's Center in the Square Theater in Ontario, Canada hosted the first Divine Performing Arts (DPA) show. This is the second city on the DPA's 2009 World Tour in Canada.

City Councillor: "Deliver this [DPA show] to the leaders of the world, and we'd have a more peaceful world on our hands."
City Councillor Mr. Tucci had an opportunity to see the DPA performance for the first time. He said, "I think it's divine, and I'm using the word divine because I think it's spectacular." "The music, the color, the story behind the dances, and the singing."
Mr. Tucci added, "If we could somehow bottle this and package this and deliver this to the leaders of the world, we'd have a more peaceful world on our hands."
Mr. Tucci commented on the message that the DPA show conveyed, "Music knows no boundaries and music and art know no religion or political belief, it's global. Music and art are universal and can deliver a message of peace and tranquility."
He continued by saying, "One can have a quick history lesson in terms of the message that's being delivered through the ages in China. Without reading history books, people can sit here and enjoy the color, the music and the scenery, and the history of the country."

Mr. Morrison described his impression of the show, he said, "I think one of the things that struck me was the rhythm, and the music of course and the melody and harmony. But the rhythm and the dance are just very lively. I thought it was a brilliant show." He explained, "Music is fundamentally rhythmic. I thought the choreography worked very well with the rhythmic life of the music. The music was very compelling."
Mr. Morrison said that he was especially impressed by the sound of the erhu. He said, "I love that instrument. I think that sound is one of the most gripping, haunting sounds of anything that I have heard. I mean, it's gorgeous! It's almost an extension of a human-like sound even more so than a violin or a traditional stringed instrument, which can be very vocal-like. The erhu is just an amazing sound, it's beautiful."
He was also impressed with the wide variety colors used in the show, saying they "were really bright and vivid and sharp. I thought that was amazing. The colors really do take your breath away."
Mr. Morrison said the show overall was a "wonderful mix and connection between the visual and the aural." It's all there, it's very exuberant it's very passionate, emotional, both the music, the dance and the drama, so it's a real package. All of it works together wonderfully. Much more than just the music alone or just the dance alone. The choreography worked, I thought, particularly well."

Michael is president of a large electronic equipment company and his wife, Sofia, is chief financial officer. They were very excited after seeing the show and were deeply impressed with the dance movements unique to the Chinese classical dance and profound expressiveness of the stories. They were particularly impressed with the dance number "Heaven Awaits Us Despite Persecution." Sofia said she was deeply moved and nearly broke into tears.
Michael fully understood the connotation that the dance intends to express. He said that the interpretation of the innermost feelings of the little girl, her mother and father, was vivid and moving. Sofia said that she fully believed that the father went to the heavenly paradise. She believes that God exists in the universe, he is watching us, and that everything people do today determines their future.
Michael said the message that the show conveyed was positive and full of hope. He said that he was very delighted to see these traditional values conveyed in the show and that it's really invaluable and precious.
