(Clearwisdom.net) On February 21, 2009, the Divine Performing Arts (DPA) Touring Company staged its two shows for the first time in Rochester Auditorium Theatre in Rochester, New York. Many Chinese audience members were touched by the pure and compassionate show.

Chinese scientist: History will remember you

Mr. Li came to watch the show, making the drive from Buffalo. He is a scientist from China and has seen the DPA show more than once. He said emotionally, "The show is great. History will remember the performers."

Mr. Li said, "Very good. I have seen it several times. Since it is so good, I'd like to watch it again. The show touches me in mind and spiritual. Thus, I want to watch it again after seeing it."

He continued, "It is hard to express my feeling with language. It is just like a beautiful music touching one's heart. For example, the program on the persecution of the Falun Gong practitioner presents the situation well with dancing. Thus one is moved to tears after watching it. I think it is great."

Mr. Li pointed out, "I can say it is a cultural revival. I think all of the audience will be touched. Chinese traditional culture and the righteous things are very good."

He continued, "I have not seen the Chinese New Year show by Chinese Central Television for years since there is no true art there. I don't think it is a culture. It is a degraded thing. Thus I don't watch it."

Chinese dancer: I have never seen such high level Chinese dancing

Angela started to perform on stage when she was ten years old. Six years ago, she married and immigrated to the U.S. She is a performer at a Chinese dancing company in Rochester. She said excitedly, "I have never seen such a high level show on Chinese dancing, not only in the U.S., but even in China. The high caliber and professional level is commendable."

Ms. Yin standing beside her said, "I liked all the dancing programs today. They are wonderful." She came from China to study for a Ph.D. degree on optics. She said that she would come to see the DPA show again next year.

Angela and Ms. Yin's American friends liked the songs in the show, in addition to the splendid dancing. They said that they grew up with the opera, and they enjoyed the DPA performance.

Chinese international business consultant: The DPA show is very high level

Chinese international business consultant Hedy watched the DPA show for the second time. Last year her whole family went to New York to watch the show. This year, she was pleased that the DPA show was held in Rochester. She said, "The performance is high caliber. The dancing skills of the DPA performers are very high."

Hedy has visited China many times. When mentioning the program Heaven Awaits Us Despite Persecution, she said, "I know that the persecution is a fact. I heard many cases where people were persecuted. I think this program lets more people know about the persecution in China. Many people know little about China."

The dance program describes a three-member family in China: father, mother and a young daughter. The father was tortured to death for practicing Falun Gong. He transcended the evil persecution and his life ascended to heaven.

Hedy's friend Tom also watched this DPA show. He was an administrator in the city water disposal department before retirement. Last year he watched the DPA show also with Hedy's family. He told the reporter that he was impressed with the show, especially the dances with the beautiful colors.
