(Clearwisdom.net) As the 2009 Chinese New Year drew near, practitioners from the midwest of Heilongjiang Province printed over two thousand copies of the Chinese character "Joy". We sent this greeting to various villages in the countryside, meanwhile clarifying the truth and asking people to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. City practitioners volunteered to help in this endeavor by providing a minivan and driving six or seven practitioners to villages to clarify the truth door-to-door.
Since it is customary to send this greeting of "Joy" near the Chinese New Year, the people gladly accepted it and were very friendly to us. We then brought up the topic of withdrawing from the CCP. We said, "We have something even better for you." We asked them if they belonged to any CCP organizations and whether they had heard about ensuring their own safety by withdrawing from it. Most of villagers said, "Yes, I had joined before. I also heard about withdrawing." Most of them were willing to withdraw. We then gave them a propitious name and helped them withdraw from the CCP.
For the past several years, practitioners have widely spread the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and other truth-clarification materials. Because people had previously been exposed to the truth, this eased the process for them to withdraw and most of them agreed to do so. We usually went to two villages every day. Although it was nearly -30 Celsius, it did not stop us from saving sentient beings. We continued this effort until December 29. Over three thousand people withdrew from the CCP after we clarified the truth to them face-to-face.
We did not spend New Year's Eve with family. Instead we went to more rural villages to distribute the "Nine Commentaries" and other Dafa materials. We covered five villages and only went home at 11:00 p.m. After having dumplings with our families, we went out to distribute more truth-clarification materials.
On New Year's Day 2009, we sent a New Year's greeting card to Teacher. We thanked Teacher for his compassionate salvation. As we clarified the truth face-to-face, we came to deeply understand the power of Dafa and we understood that everything was done with Teacher's help and by His arrangement. Teacher said in Hong Yin from "Assisting the Fa,"
"You resolved to save sentient beings,
and assist Master as he journeys this human world"
We will be more diligent in the new year. While cultivating ourselves well, we will try our best to save more sentient beings. We plan to continue clarifying the truth door-to-door and ask people to withdraw from the CCP.
