(Clearwisdom.net) Today's report relates persecution incidents that took place in 28 cities or counties in twelve provinces. Thirty-night Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to brutal mistreatment during detention, and at least 34 practitioners were illegally arrested.

Mr. Li Huicheng, 30 years old, from Gaojia Town, Weibin District, Baoji City, was illegally arrested by Gaojia police and a Weibin 610 Office agent on the 3rd of March. Mr. Li's daughter is only 5 years old; his son is only 3. Mr. Li's elderly mother is very ill and has no one to care for her. Mr. Li is currently detained at the Baodan Hotel and is being persecuted by police officer Li Hutang, who is from the No. 1 Section of District Police Station.

Ms. Ding Cui, a practitioner from Jiujiang County, Jiangxi Province, has been released. Practitioner Ms. Zhu Shuijia from Ruichang City was "illegally sentenced" to two years of forced labor. She is being held in Xiangxi Forced Labor Camp.

5. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Zhenxing Not Allowed to See His Ailing Mother
On February 23, 2009, Mr. Li Zhenxing's mother was taken to the hospital for treatment but her health has deteriorated. She was in a coma on the morning of March 4th and in critical condition. After four hours of emergency medical care she regained consciousness. She was in intensive care until the morning of the 5th. When she asked forced labor camp officials if she could see her son, they refused her request.

On February 15, 2009, Ms. Song Xiangqiong was arrested by Jie Xudong and Wang Qiang from Wanyuan City Domestic Security Division Agent. She is detained in Wanyuan City Detention Center.

7. [Yumeng County, Hubei Province] Ms. Fang Hongqing Illegally Detained in Qingminghe Detention Centre
At 4 p.m. on the 4th of March 2009, the 610 Office, the Legal Committee of Yumeng County, and the Qingminghe police burst into Ms. Fang Hongqing's home. She was dragged into a police car and is now detained in the Qingminghe Police Station.

8. [Zhalantun City, Inner Mongolia] Mr. Wang Yumin Arrested
Mr. Wang Yumin, in his 30s, is a Dafa practitioner. Around 10 a.m. on the 23rd of February, 2009, Mr, Wang was taken by force to a detention center by seven or eight agents from the local Domestic Security Division.

11. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Dai Zhengjun Taken Into Custody When Distributing Truth-Clarification Material
12. [Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Lin Yongxu and His Wife, Ms. Li Sujuan, Held in the Beijing Haidian District Detention Center
On February 2, 2009, Mr. Lin Yongxu and his wife, Ms. Li Sujuan, from Zhuhai City were taken into custody by police in Beijing when they transferred to a connecting train on their way back from visiting their hometown. Now they are in the Beijing Haidian District Detention Center. Mr. Lin's mother, nearly 70, came to Beijing to visit her son, but was turned away.
Mr. Lin, 40 years old, is an engineer at Zhuhai Geli Electric Appliance Company. In 1999 he went to Beijing to validate the Fa. He was arrested and detained in the Zhuhai Detention Center. In 2000 he was sentenced to two years of forced labor because he published truth-clarification articles on the company website. In the forced labor camp, he suffered brutal torture and was tied to a cross. He went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. Because he refused to be brainwashed Mr. Lin was sent to the Zhuhai Brainwashing Center and Sanshui Brainwashing Center after two years of forced labor. He was released at the end of 2004.
Ms.. Li, 39 years old, was arrested by a Zhuhai 610 Office agent and persecuted in a detention center for two months in February 2002 because she persisted in her belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

On March 3, 2009, Ms. Chen Shaorong and Ms. Hong Yuxian, nearly 70 years old, from the Chikan District in Zhanjiang were on their way back from the market. They were arrested and taken to the Zhanjiang Brainwashing Center (also called "Legal Education School") by a Zhanjiang 610 Office agent. That same afternoon their families were instructed to send clothes to them but they were not allowed to see them.

15. [Zhijiang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yao Yuqing Taken into Custody on March 4, 2009

Ms. Deng Liqun, Ms. Zou ,and a few other Falun Gong practitioners from the Sanjiang District in Chongqing City were arrested in August of 2008. Two of the practitioners were released. Ms. Deng Liqun and Ms. Zou are still being held in the Qijiang County Detention Center and are facing illegal trial.
17. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Retired 66-Year-Old Mr. Cao Sent to Forced Labor Camp
Around 3 p.m. on the 12th of January of 2009, Officer Song and four or five other officers from the Fujiatun Police Station in the Lubei District, Tangshan City, broke into the home of retired doctor Mr. Cao. They ransacked Doctor Cao's home and confiscated his family's property. Doctor Cao and his wife were arrested and taken to the Fujiatun Police Station. Doctor Cao's wife was released that night, but Doctor Cao was taken to No.1 Detention Center in the Lubei District Police Station. Doctor Cao's blood pressure rose to 240 and the detention center refused to take him. At midnight Doctor Cao was returned to the Fujiatun Police Station. The next day he was taken to the Affiliated Hospital of Tangshan, where his blood pressure rose to 230. The Fujiatun Police Station extorted 5000 yuan from his family as a condition for releasing him.
Afterward the Fujiatun Police Station continue to instigate others to harass them. On February 23, 2009, the Fujiatun Police Station planned to send Doctor Cao to Kaiping Forced Labor Camp for two years. On February 24, Fujiatun police took him to Kaiping Forced Labor Camp, but Doctor Cao's blood pressure was 260, so they had to release him.
Fujiatun police arrested Ms. He Yan from Xin District Electric Appliance Company of Tangshan during the 2008 Olympics. She was illegally sentenced to two years of forced labor and taken to Kaiping Forced Labor Camp.
18. [Shantou City, Guangdong Province] More Information on the Persecution of Ms. Xu Wanlan and Other Practitioners
Ms. Xu Wanlan was sentenced to two years in prison and detained in Shantou Tuopu Police Station. Mr. Zheng Minghui was sentenced to 4 years in prison and is being held in Guangdong Jieyang Prison. Ms. Luo Lijun was sentenced to 3 years and detained in Guangdong Women's Prison. The current situations of Mr. Xu Chuiliang and Ms. Wu Feizhen are unknown.

Around 11a.m. on the 2nd of March, 2009, Mr. Wang Wenzhang from Fuhe Village, Baiyu Township of Xifeng County, was arrested by Pinggang Town police of Xifeng County when he distributed truth-clarifying materials. Around 1 p.m. the police broke into Mr. Wang's house and ransacked it. They took many personal items, including a laptop computer, a color printer, a 25 inch television, DVD and VCD players, Dafa books, CDs, truth-clarifying materials, and four hundred yuan in cash. Mr. Wang's wife, also a practitioner, was forced to flee the home to avoid arrest.
21. [Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Guiqing Arrested
In the morning of March 2, 2009, Jiansanjiang District police and officers from Qixin Ranch ransacked Ms. Zhang Guiqing's home and then arrested her. Currently she is in Qixin Brainwashing Center.

22. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Song Yulian in Critical Condition While Persecuted in Forced Labor Camp
On April 22, 2008, Ms. Song Yulian, 50 years old, was illegally detained for 15 days in the Bin County Detention Center when she went to the police station to clarify the facts. Later she was taken to Haerbin Qianjin Forced Labor Camp. After two months her family was allowed to visit her and saw bruises all over her body and arms. She is also forced to labor every day, as are other 60-70 year old practitioners.
On December 16, 2008, Ms. Song suffered massive bleeding because of the torture. On February 2, 2009, she was taken to the No.1 Hospital because she was unconscious. Her family wanted to take her home for treatment but they were not allowed to. Eight days later she was taken back to the labor camp. Since then Ms. Song's health has worsened and she was again taken to a hospital for treatment. The police told her family she could be released on medical parole, but Qianjin Labor Camp officials refused to release her even after her family went through all the formalities.

23. [Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Liu Shiyin and Mr. Yu Songjiang from Jiansanjiang Qianjin Ranch Arrested
On the morning of March 5 Mr. Liu Shiyin and Mr. Yu Songjiang were arrested by Officer Su Yigang and others. The police also confiscated two computers and two printers.
24. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Suqin Arrested
Around 8 a.m. on March 4, Ms. Li Suqin from Dawa County in Panjin City was arrested by several police from Dawa National Security Division and Xinli Police Station. Her home was ransacked and she was taken to Dawa Detention Center.
25. [Donggang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Pan Wende Arrested
Mr. Pan Wende from Donggang City was arrested by the Xinxing District Police Station of Donggang City on March 3 while he was in the Donggong Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital to clarify the truth. Later he was taken to a detention center.
26. [Jilin Province] Practitioners Mr. Song Sheng and Mr. Yang Baosen Tortured by Police
On March 22, 2008, Qian County police broke into Mr. Song's rented home. They confiscated his personal property, including 4000 copies of the book Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, printers, and other personal belongings. Mr. Song was brutally tortured by police.
On December 23, 2008, Mr. Yang Baosen's home was ransacked and he was taken to the No.1 Police Station. According to witnesses: Mr Yang Baosen can hardly walk because of the brutal torture he suffered when he was in Qianan Police Station. He was soaking wet; he was very badly swollen and bruised below his waist; and his toenails have fallen off. The police beat him even when he was doing as he was told.

30. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Dai Qiuxia Forced to Leave Home
In the evening on March 2, 2009, the deputy head of Gaomi Police Station and other officers went to Ms. Dai Qiuxia's home to arrest her, but she was not home at the time. The police stayed there for monitoring and she was forced to leave home to avoid persecution.
31. [Tianjin City] Three Practitioners Arrested and Detained in Jinnan Detention Center
Ms. Liu Ning, Ms. Zhang Jinping, and Jiao Linhui, all from Dajiang Borough in Tianjin City, were arrested when they distributed truth-clarifying materials in Zhenmu Village, Jinnan Station. They were beaten and their homes were ransacked. Later they were transferred to Tianjin Jinnan Police Station.

32. [Beijing] Ms. Zhao Caihong Arrested
Ms. Zhao Caihong, around 47 or 48 years old, from the Yanqing District in Beijing was arrested at home by Jiang Shuliang and multiple police officers. They confiscated personal belongings such as her computer and printer. She is now held in Yangqin Detention Center.

So far Handan police have arrested 5 practitioners: Ms. Zhou Guiying, Ms. Zhang Peihua, Ms. Guo Guiying, Ms. Liu Wengying, and Ms. Cheng Xiaohua. Over ten practitioners' homes were broken into and ransacked, and one practitioner was forced to leave home to avoid arrest.
