(Clearwisdom.net) On March 20, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Long Island were invited to participate in a gathering of the Plainview Senior Citizens Club in Long Island, New York. The practitioners introduced Falun Gong to the group. More than one hundred members of the club attended this event.

Practitioners first spoke to the group about Falun Dafa and how it has spread worldwide. Some practitioners shared their experiences of practicing Falun Gong and exposed the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong in China. Then they demonstrated and taught the exercises.
The members of the club asked many questions. After learning about Falun Gong and the persecution in China, they wanted to learn Falun Gong and condemned the CCP persecution of Falun Gong and human rights.
