(Clearwisdom.net) The Taichung premiere of the Divine Performing Arts (DPA) International Company was staged at 7:30 p.m. on March 4, 2009. The long line of three thousand people waiting to enter the Hui-Sun Auditorium in National Chung Hsing University wound its way through the campus. People were amazed at the DPA popularity. The auditorium was filled with warm applause and cheers. Many in the field of politics, art and business watched the show and expressed their strong feelings and deep admiration.

Commissioner Su praised DPA for combining gods' will and everything in the
human world through dance, saying it was fabulous.
The performers' dances and vitality greatly delighted the audience, and
Commissioner Su repeatedly praised the show's director, saying, "Really
great!"
She said that DPA transmitted the traditional Chinese morals of fidelity, filial
piety, integrity, and righteousness with history and legends through dances, and
that the atmosphere represented throughout was peaceful and gentle.
"The director is really great. Who indeed is the hero?" she laughed.
"I think watching DPA's show, everyone will be very moved." She said
that in addition to the beauty conveyed through the dances, the state manifested
by the show made people feel that if there is really a world beyond the human
world, it's something people can look forward to."
Regarding the dance "Persecuted on a Sacred Path," Commissioner Su said people needed faith, which helps people through difficulties, ups and downs, and in times of pain. He said that freedom of belief should be safeguarded, and political forces should not interfere. She hopes to watch the DPA show every year.
It was the second time Legislator Yang, Chiung-Ying attended the DPA show. She said during intermission that the show had deep meaning, that the skill of DPA artists and choreographers were extraordinary, and that the music was so refreshing, like divine music in ancient times.

Legislator Yang said that the dances, costumes and music gave her an unique feeling, as if she came to this world like a actor to a stage, and that it was telling us to become enlightened about ourselves. She further explained that because there are many wicked things in this world, the dances seemed to awaken our hearts to follow the good.
Ms. Wu Lih-Ing, president of Taiwan Modern Poets Association and principal of the Affiliated Experimental Elementary School of National Taichung University, described the DPA show as divine skill. She said the dances were exquisite and expressed feelings perfectly with movements. She was very impressed and deeply touched. She said it was wonderful!

Ms. Wu especially liked "The Poet's Vision" and "Persecuted on a Sacred Path." She said the dance fully expressed the movements of poetry-writing after Li Bai was drunk. It was the first time she had seen such format. She was very touched. She said the dance about persecution made a fine presentation of the harm and pain, and the force of faith brought eventual salvation. She was deeply touched. Ms. Wu said people have been pursuing material things in our lives, but have lost too much. She said that the artistic performance uplifted and purified our spirits.
Ms. Liao Tun-ju, director of National Formosa University Art Center, admired DPA's presentation of Chinese culture. She said, "It is the first time I have watched such a great dance performance! It was a thorough presentation of our Chinese culture. I can only describe it as 'touching!'"

Ms. Liao was most impressed with "The Monkey King" and "Persecuted on a Sacred Path." She was close to tears while watching the dance about the persecution of Falun Gong. She also said the three-dimensional background was a rarely-seen combination of art and technology, and the characteristics of DPA would bring influence and inspiration to the dance field.
Mr. Yang Wen-ke, director of Central Taiwan Science Park, was deeply moved by the DPA show. He praised DPA for unfolding the five-thousand-year Chinese culture through dance. "Every movement of the dancers showed their superb skill! It was fabulous!"

Retired General Du, his wife Ms. Chang, and their friend watched the DPA show together. Ms. Chang, who teaches painting, told the reporter that the DPA show brought her to a world of gods. It was such a high realm! She was touched by every dance movement! She said DPA show was a beautiful entertainment for soul! It was beyond the human world. It was the beauty of heaven.

Ms. Chang was touched from the moment the curtain was open. When the Master Buddha extended his hand in "The Udumbara's Bloom," Ms. Chang felt it meant "Pass it down generation after generation." She said what DPA brought her was heart-touching, admiration and cheers, and it couldn't be found anywhere else.
