(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of Feb. 3, 2009, practitioners Ms. Zhang Qingshu, Ms. Ning Yuying, Ms. Li Lili, Ms. Zhao Xiaolian, and Ms. Chen Yanfeng, together with non-practitioner Ms. Zhang Xi, went to Haihongzhuang Village, Xiaoyingzi Township, to tell people the facts about Falun Gong. Village Secretary Liu Qing reported them to the police. Officers from the Xiaoyingzi Township Police Station arrested them and took them to the Qinglong County Detention Center.
Police Chief Song Xueqiang and Officer Liu Yinchao rushed to the village in response to the call. They used pepper spray on Ms. Zhang Xi and several others, leaving them unable to open their eyes, and knocked them to the ground. The police brought the six ladies to the police station and handcuffed them to the heating pipes. Ms. Zhang Xi was handcuffed in isolation for several hours, with one hand cuffed to a heating pipe and the other to a window. The police also seized the practitioners' belongings, including currency with truth-clarification messages written on it, four cell phones, and two motorcycles.
At around 3:00 p.m. that day, Chief Han Baoqing of the Louzhangzi Police Station led officers from the national security squadron to ransack the homes of Ms. Zhang Qingshu, Ms. Ning, Ms. Chen, and Ms. Zhao, and seize some of their personal belongings.
That night, the six ladies were taken to the Qinglong County Detention Center. The center's deputy director, Li Zhaosai, slapped Ms. Zhang Xi three times. Then he took her into the yard, assembled the five practitioners, and ordered Ms. Zhang to insult Teacher. When she flatly refused, he cuffed her hands behind her back and had an inmate set a bucket of urine in front her to threaten her.
Guard Miao Yunpeng tried to force Ms. Chen to sign a document repudiating Dafa, but she refused. He beat her and handcuffed and shackled her for several hours. Ms. Chen, Ms. Zhao, and Ms. Zhang Xi were released on Feb. 17.
The newly-appointed deputy chief of the county police department, Liu Tiejun, put Ms. Zhang Qingshu, Ms. Ning, and Ms. Li in a forced labor camp.
