(Clearwisdom.net) Shen Yun Performing Arts' 2009 World Tour continued to grace the stage at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre through Wednesday April 8, presenting a total of seven shows.

Ms. Jones, who has a background in the arts and entertainment management, expressed awe after seeing the performance. She described Shen Yun as "divine," giving off an "energy of joy, a pleasure to watch."

She commented, "This message was universal; the message of hope and peace right now is so important."

"Most of all though, I want to say that the dancers were so beautiful and that they just showed, through their performance, their passion for this, that you could tell they were really trying to bring this message to us, of hope. The commitment and dedication of the performers is really obvious," Ms. Jones observed.

"The word 'flawless' truly does describe this performance. I mean, it is on a grand scale. It is an epic performance; it's a spectacular performance!" she said.

"I was brought up in Vancouver and I've been involved with Chinese culture from a child. My father always honoured people of China and watched how they suffered and, really, they've had such struggle."

Ms. Jones appreciated the way Shen Yun allows Chinese people to see a forgotten side of their culture, one that has been lost for decades under the current Communist regime. "I can see that the performances bring out the more spiritual side of the beliefs, the peace that they long for in their own country."

Ms. Jones brought her son to the performance to "expose him to some real culture." "This performance shows that divine energy and love is universal and we can all be part of this. [The world] needs this very much right now as we struggle through very difficult times on this planet. Everyone needs to have divine inspiration like this. You know, we lack culture, generally, especially our young people. That's why I brought my son. I hope he influences his friends."

Ms. Jones was pleased that Shen Yun is on a global tour. "You know, it's just something we are really missing, but this is beyond. This is world class. And you know. I am so glad that things have gone as well and they are continuing to tour."

Ms. Jones said she fully supported their efforts to spread "this universal message of hope and peace."

She concluded, "This kind of music and performance, this level of performance, can only be done through being truly connected to a higher power. I am very inspired and I am going to share with as many people as I can."

Lawyer: 'Powerful, Mighty, Elegant'

Attorney Mr. Lunde had barely arrived in Vancouver from Norway when he heard that Shen Yun would be performing at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. He quickly arranged to get tickets, and on Wednesday he caught the final show in Vancouver.

"I enjoyed it and I will think about it for a long time afterwards because it showed the multitude of thousands of years of Chinese culture and also the diversity in the different regions in the big country of China," he said.

"In my opinion, it is a strong indication for us viewers to understand that there are many voices that are not heard in China today that ought to be heard. It was powerful, mighty, elegant and it was beautiful to watch."

Mr. Lunde described the three vocalists as "of the highest class," and said he was grateful the Chinese lyrics were translated and shown on the animated backdrop.

"The diversity of the different regions, that they had their own culture through the generations, and the way it was displayed with these beautiful costumes, and their traditional music," that, said Mr. Lunde, is what struck him the most.

Director and Editor: "It's the finest thing I've ever seen"

"I'm so impressed," said Ms. Saare, an accomplished film editor once nominated for a Canadian Genie Award. "I think it's the finest thing I've ever seen. I thought that I had the ability to make a film and I have made films, about 100 of them, but I could never do anything like that, ever. I think it's magnificent!"

Mr. Haug, now retired, was a technical director for a major Canadian television channel before retiring

Mr. Haug, a technical director for a major Canadian television channel before retiring, also said that he enjoyed the show. "It was a wonderful performance. It was wonderful, we enjoyed it thoroughly."

"It was very good," agreed his wife, Mrs. Haug.

The couple had come to Vancouver to celebrate 55th anniversary, and purchased their tickets. Mr. Haug said they were glad they did. "We really enjoyed it!"

Dr. Germain, a dentist, who came with her family, was impressed with the attention to detail in the performance--from the technique to the costumes.

"Everything was just super. The stage was always full of twenty or more dancers, and their precision was precise. The costumes and the stories behind them, mixing the singing and the dancing. It was all very different and wonderful," she said.

Dr. Germain also commented on the effect of the live orchestra, adding to the powerful energy and atmosphere of the show. "It was great. This show is good for everybody."

Her daughter, Emma, a ballerina, has studied various styles of dance since age two. She was inspired by the unique style of Chinese traditional dance. She said, classical "Chinese dancing was really good. I thought the female dancers were really good. It would be really cool to learn classical Chinese dancing now."

The Germains attended the show with Mrs. Germain's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cheng.
