Personnel from the Hong'an County 610 Office arrested 60-year-old Mr. Jiang Zhongyin and put him in the county's No.1 Detention Center on the night of June 23, 2006. He went on a hunger strike for 40 days. Guards in the detention center force-fed and tortured him. Police later transferred him to Shayang Forced Labor Camp in Hubei Province. Mr. Jiang, suffering from colon cancer, had blood in his stool. Camp personnel feared being held responsible and demanded that local police pick him up and return him to their area. County 610 Office agents then took him back to his hometown in September 2008. They coerced Mr. Jiang and his nephew's wife not to have contact with any practitioner. He died on January 22, 2009.

Seventy-six-year-old Ms. Zhang Chenmei is from Nanzhaitou Village in Qiaotou Township, Shenze County. She had gone to appeal for Falun Gong in Beijing on April 25, 1999, and went again after July 20, 1999, but was held for a week. Ms. Zhang's second daughter died from torture, and her third daughter was later on put in a forced labor camp. All the suffering these events caused damaged Ms. Zhang's health. She died in December 2007.

Mr. Zhang Yong, 38 years old, used to live in Wencui Street in the Shenhe District, Shenyang City. He has been missing for eight years. He was a postdoctoral fellow in the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Ms. Wang Chunyan is an employee of the Suizhong County Electric Plant in Huludao City. She was arrested in Yuyao City, Zhejiang Province, three months ago. Officials in Yuyao City plan to sentence her.

Mr. Zhou Qing, a model teacher, has been held for four years and ought to have been released on March 25, 2009. His relatives went to pick him up from the Fanjiatai Prison in Shayang City on March 24, 2009, but they discovered the next day that Mr. Zhou had been transferred to a brainwashing center in Wuhan at 9:00 a.m.

Ms. Li Guiqin, in her 50s, went to deposit money in a bank in 2007. Because some of the bills she carried had Falun Gong truth-clarifying messages printed on them, she was arrested and sentenced to three and a half years in prison. She is held in Dabei Prison in Shenyang City.

Ms. Zhang Shuxia and her sister, Ms. Zhang Shujie, were arrested at their home on March 23, 2009. Police operated under the pretext of checking whether or not their computer was infected with a virus. They found Falun Gong information in the computer, so they arrested the sisters.

Ms. Cong Lanzhi and Ms. Wang Xiangju were arrested in the Hamotang Market in the Yuanbao District on March 30, 2009, for explaining the facts about Falun Gong. Mr. Zhao Guangshun from the Zhenxing District was arrested at his home.

Police from Weifang City arrested 24-year-old Ms. Zhao Fenghua from Jiangjia Village in the Weicheng District, Weifang City, at noon on April 1, 2009. They confiscated her cell phone, a motorcycle, some truth-clarifying CDs, an MP3 player, a handbag, and cash.

The police ransacked her home in the afternoon and confiscated a computer, a printer, a paper cutter, a set of wireless cards, a copy of Zhuan Falun, and truth-clarifying materials.

Ms. Fang Hailing from the Chengguan District in Beipiao City was arrested at her home on the night of April 1, 2009. Her practitioner husband escaped and no longer dares to live at home. Ms. Fang is being held in a brainwashing center in Fushun City.

Personnel from the Shuangtaizi Township Police Station arrested four practitioners from Dengshipuzi Town in Faku County on the night of March 16, 2009. Police station Chief Li Qiang grabbed Ms. Dong Hongping's hair and shocked her with an electric baton. Her 16-year-old son, Yan Xinyu, was handcuffed, and several officers beat him.

The police later ransacked practitioners' homes. They confiscated a computer and some other personal belongings from Ms. Dong's home. Ms. Dong and Ms. Chen Shuyuan are held in the Shenyang City Detention Center. Mr. Wu Chunshan is in the county detention center. Ms. Dong Xiufa was first held in the county custody center and then transferred into the detention center.

Personnel from the Jiangjiaying Township Police Station arrested Ms. Yang Yanping from the Fengrun District, Tangshan City, on the afternoon of July 24, 2009. The arrest happened when she explained the facts about Falun Gong in Hezhuangzi Village. The police ransacked her home at 10:00 p.m. and confiscated a computer, a printer, a VCD player, a TV, cash, and Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials. Ms. Yang was held in the Fengrun Detention Center and recently sentenced to four years in prison.

Suizhou City Police Department officer Liu Guoqing and others arrested 40-year-old Ms. Zhang Ling and 28-year-old Ms. Li Yun on the night of April 8, 2008. They put the two women into the city's No.1 Detention Center. The court sentenced Ms. Li to three and a half years in prison and Ms. Zhang to three years. Ms. Li defended herself, and the verdict was changed to two years. Policewoman Hou Xiaoling often beat Ms. Li. Ms. Zhang's hair turned white, and she has generalized edema.

Ms. Xu Deqin is a farmer in Nanwanggao Village, Nanliu Town in the Fangzi District, Weifang City. She was sentenced to three years of forced labor in 2001. Personnel from the district's police department and from the 610 Office colluded with officials in the town's government. They ransacked her home and confiscated a printer, a computer, and other items. Ms. Xu is being held in the district detention center.

Ms. Xu's son and daughter live in another city, and her husband is bedridden. Her home was ransacked again on March 31, 2009.

Police went to Ms. Wang Jinhua's home in Xiaodougou Village, Linqu County, Weifang City, on the afternoon of March 26, 2009. They arrested her, ransacked the place, and confiscated Dafa books and other items. Ms. Wang is now in the county detention center.

Ms. Wang Zexia, who lives in the Jujiacun community, went back home at 5:30 p.m. on March 30, 2009. Police ransacked her home, and her whereabouts are unknown.

Mr. Qiu Shaojie is a teacher from the Zhifu District's No.5 Middle School in Yantai City. Personnel from the district 610 Office arrested him on March 24, 2009, and took him to the Xingfu Brainwashing Center.

Personnel from the Beizhangzhuang Police Station arrested Ms. Bai Lianhe and Ms. Li Qiuming in Handan City on the night of April 3, 2009. They are being held in the Beizhangzhuang Police Station.

Ms. Wang Jin was arrested and taken to the Fuqiang Police Station at 3:00 p.m. on December 18, 2008, for distributing 2008 Shen Yun Performance DVDs. Eight policemen ransacked her home and confiscated a picture with Master's image, Dafa books, a computer, and truth-clarifying materials. Ms. Wang will be tried at 2:45 p.m. on April 27, 2009.

Personnel from the 610 Office arrested several practitioners from Liu County in March 2009. Officers from the Liunan Township Police Station and from the Liuhe County 610 Office arrested Mr. Xu Lixing and Ms. Sun Peiying from Liunan Township. They ransacked several practitioners' homes.

Personnel from the 110 Police (similar to the "911" emergency service in the US) arrested Mr. Zhang Xiuqiang from Yishui County on the afternoon of April 3, 2009, when he distributed Falun Gong flyers. The police ransacked his home at 9:00 a.m. on April 4, 2009. Mr. Zhang is now in the county detention center.

Personnel from the Dingzhou City Domestic Security Division and from the Nancheng District Police Department broke into Mr. Yang Yong's home in Huimin Street, Dingzhou City, at 4:00 p.m. on February 17, 2009. Mr. Yang is still in the city detention center.

Ms. Liu Yinfeng from Fengcheng County is being held in the Dandong City Detention Center. She has a tumor on one of her legs and is extremely weak, but the authorities transferred her to the county detention center, where officials extorted 800 yuan from her family. Personnel from the county procuratorate submitted Ms. Liu's case to the county court, and they plan to sentence her.

Personnel from the Hongqi Police Station arrested Ms. Liu, Ms. Leng Dongmei, and Ms. Wang Chunzhen on November 15, 2008. Ms. Leng is being held in the Donggang Detention Center, and Ms. Wang was sentenced to one year of forced labor.

Ms. Li Yueqin, in her 50s, is from Sanguanmiao Village, Kangzhuang Town, Gaomi City. She was arrested on the afternoon of March 7, 2008. Personnel from the Domestic Security Division ransacked her home at 7:00 p.m. that night and confiscated Dafa books. She was first held in the city detention center for a month and then sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor in Wangcun Forced Labor Camp.

Five officers from the Xiguan Police Station arrested Mr. Wang Dejiang from Gaomi City at 7:00 p.m. on December 4, 2008. He was put in a detention center on the afternoon of December 5, 2009, and then transferred to the Zhangqiu City Forced Labor Camp for a one-and-a-half-year term.

Personnel from the Kanjia Town Police Station arrested Ms. Yue Ruizhen at her home on January 16, 2009. Officers from the Yaogezhuang Town Police Station arrested Ms. Zhang Guiqin on the night of January 15, 2009. The two were taken to Wangcun Forced Labor Camp a month later.

Personnel from the Qingdao City Railway Station Police Office arrested Mr. Chen Handong from Qingdao City on the afternoon of April 4, 2009.

Officials from the Nangang District Court in Harbin City sentenced Ms. Li Feng to nine years in prison and put her in the Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison on April 1, 2009.

Mr. Wang Xiaosong from Dayi County was arrested on April 3, 2009, and is being held in the county detention center. His wife is in the Xinjin Brainwashing Center.

Six officers headed by Beijing Street Police Station Deputy Chief Zhuang Guiyi arrested Mr. Shao Xingbao from Jiaonan City on February 24, 2009. He has been held in a detention center for more than a month. All of Mr. Shao's family's visits have been denied.

Mr. Shao will be tried in the Jiaonan City Court on April 8, 2009.

Personnel from the Songlin Police Station in Jiamusi City often harassed Ms. Zhuang Huiping after March 7, 2009. She now lives away from home.

Ms. Hong Qin from Liuhe City has been held in the city detention center since March 2009. Her circumstances are unknown.

Ms. Xiong Yulan from the Yuexiu District and two relatives from her hometown toured Yuexiu Park in March 2009. Because she distributed Falun Gong flyers, she and her two non-practitioner relatives were arrested. The two relatives were released a few days later. Ms. Xiong is still in a detention center.

Mr. Fan Shiyu, Ms. Xiong's son, had a mental breakdown as a result of severe physical abuse and mental trauma in Sanshui Forced Labor Camp.

Ms. Liu Shaoping, in her 60s, is retired from the Zhongyuan Oil Field. She had been held in the Puyang City Detention Center twice since July 20, 1999. Personnel from the Zhongyuan Oil Field Police Station arrested her in October 2007 and put her in the Puyang City Detention Center for a month. Then she was transferred to the Shibalihe Forced Labor Camp for a one-and-a-half-year term.

Ms. Liu was released in March 2009, but two days later the police arrested her and ransacked her home. She is once again incarcerated, this time in the Huangpu Administration Detention Center.

Personnel from the Guancheng District Police Department's Domestic Security Division arrested Ms. Guo Jianling in April 2008. She was sentenced to five years in prison in February 2009 and is now in the Xinxiang City Women's Prison in Henan Province.

The police arrested Ms. Yan Jing and ransacked her home in May 2008. She was sentenced to four years in prison. Domestic Security Division chief Wang Zhenfu and other policemen tortured her. Ms. Yan now suffers from heart diseases.

Personnel from the Chuzhou District's 610 Office in Huai'an City have arrested many practitioners since July 20, 1999. As of today, six practitioners are still in detention. Mr. Zhao Minghui is in Hongzehu Prison; Ms. Yuan Aifang, Ms. Ding Xiumei, Mr. Zhu Jianhua, and Ms. Zheng Yuying are in Nantong Women's Prison; and Mr. Chen Bingcai is in the Chuzhou Detention Center.

Ms. Xiao Bichun, 34 years old, is a farmer in Dahong Village's No.1 Group, Dahong Township, Wangyang Town, Renshou County. She was arrested and taken to the Renshou County Detention Center on September 18, 2008, for explaining the facts about Falun Gong. Officials sentenced her to one and a half years of forced labor. She is presently incarcerated in Nanmusi Women's Prison in Zizhong City.

Mr. Luo Dedong from Xingning City sent a truth-clarifying message by QQ (a popular chat software) and was reported. Personnel from the Longdong Police Station in the Tianhe District arrested him on August 14, 2008. Officials from the district court put him on trial on January 8, 2009. Mr. Luo is being held in the district's Shangshe Detention Center in Tangxia Town.

Ms. Li Sujuan and her husband, Mr. Lin Yongxu, went to visit their families in Liaoning Province for the 2009 Chinese New Year. Personnel from the Beijing 610 Office arrested and held them for a month. The couple was then transferred to Sanshui Forced Labor Camp in Guangdong Province.
