"The performance was amazing, beyond my imagination." said Ms. Xiang, a former professional dancer who graduated from Chinese Dance Institute. "These performers had very good professional training. Their moves, whether raising the hand or stepping forward, are professional. You can say they are world class."
Holland is also known as the gate of Europe and one of the countries with the earliest Chinese immigrants. Among the Chinese population there are artists from China.
Another audience member from China who wished to remain anonymous commended the erhu performance in the show. He himself is an erhu player. He said, "The erhu performance was very good and touching. Music is from the inner heart. The performer played in a very committed manner."
Singer Ms. Gu Lan from Xingiang graduated from the Department of Opera at the Central Conservatory of Music. She especially liked tenor Hong Ming's "very high skill."
After leaving China, Ms. Gu lived in Holland. She said, "Today I brought a dozen of my Hollander friends to watch the show. They all feel it is great and beautiful."
She said, "I think the show represents well Chinese culture and legends. Westerners seldom see such a show. Most of the shows they have seen are western dancing, such as ballet. I like the show very much and I think Hollanders also like it."
