Liu Xiaoman, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Changchun City, Jilin Province, Passed Away from Persecution

Ms. Liu Xiaoman, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Changchun City, Jilin Province, obtained the Fa in 1998. After the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999, she went to Beijing to appeal twice, and was detained in the Third Detention Center of Changchun City and Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp. In the labor camp she refused to write statements renouncing Falun Dafa and refused to join in the forced labor. She was shocked many times by electric batons on the breast area. In 2004, her dying father wanted to see her for the last time, but the labor camp would not allow it unless she wrote statements renouncing Falun Dafa. She refused.

In 2004, her term was over, but the CCP tried to send her to a brainwashing center for further persecution. Ms. Liu left the forced labor camp with righteous thoughts, just before the 610 office officials arrived. She was then forced into homelessness.

During the nearly ten years of persecution, local community, police station, and 610 officials repeatedly harassed her and her family, and searched her home numerous times. The persecution and torture at the labor camp left her with severe physical issues.

One day in 2007, she was dragged from her home to the local police station. Under the long-term persecution, her health progressively got worse. She was very thin, and her lower abdomen was distended. Her urine was red. On April 28, 2009, she passed away, leaving behind her eighty-year-old mother and a son.
