(Clearwisdom.net) I began Falun Dafa cultivation practice in 1998. Before then, I suffered from several diseases, but Teacher saved me and gave me a second life. All of my diseases vanished. Even the age spots on my hands disappeared. Just as Teacher said, my face looked "...smooth and fair with a rosiness to it," and "...you will feel like your whole body is energized, and when you walk it'll be like treading on air. Before, maybe you'd get tired after just a short stroll, but now it's a breeze, no matter how far you go." (Zhuan Falun) Under Teacher's graceful protection and guidance, I made it through nine years of cultivation smoothly.
Validating Dafa and saving the sentient beings are underlain by Fa study. If we study the Fa well, and embody greater mercy and strong righteous thoughts, then we can validate Dafa and save more sentient beings. I make my living as a produce vendor. This allows me to interact with many people and is a very convenient way to clarify the facts. For example, when someone comes to buy vegetables, I send forth righteous thoughts while handing the vegetables to them, then chat with them, and come to the subject a while later. I first ask if they have heard of quitting the CCP to ensure one's safety, then I tell them the truth about the staged self-immolation incident on Tiananmen Square, the truth about Falun Gong, and how to make a statement to quit the CCP. They are usually quite willing to listen to me, and some have said excitedly, "Thank you for sharing this with me. I now feel happy and hopeful."
One day, a lady in her sixties came to buy vegetables. She wore heavy clothes and a hat, and her face had bumps all over it. I asked her if she had seen doctor for her condition. She said she had gone to her doctor many times and used medicine many times, to no avail, and on the contrary, she developed more and more bumps, and felt very uncomfortable. So I told her, "I can tell you a secret. You may recover without spending a cent." She urged me to tell her the secret. I told her to recite with sincerity, "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." She responded excitedly, "I will! I will!"
Three days later she returned to tell me that the itching was gone, and that the bumps had become smaller. She said, "How can I express my gratitude to you?" I answered, "It is Master Li who helped you. I hope you can share this miraculous experience with your friends and relatives, and also share the information about guaranteeing one's safety by quitting the CCP." A few days later, she came to tell me that all the bumps had totally disappeared and her skin was even better than before.
I fully understand that it is Teacher who actually saves sentient beings. Teacher brought people with predestined relationships to me. I would never disappoint Teacher and will seize each opportunity to save more people. Since Teacher said that we are playing the leading roles in this historical drama, then we should play the roles well. If we truly believe in Teacher and Dafa, we can do better and help save more sentient beings.
