1. [Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Pan Benyu Held in Tailai Prison and in Perilous Condition
Mr. Pan Benyu, incarcerated in Tailai Prison, has a swollen head, cardiac infarction, and ascites. He can no longer take care of himself. His family has requested his release at least five times, but police have not agreed to let him go. The family went to see Mr. Pan again on March 26, 2009. Two detainees had to carry him out. The family asked again for his release, but they were turned down.
Personnel from the Beijuzhai Police Station arrested Mr. Pan on December 9, 2006, and have held him in the prison ever since.
2. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Six Practitioners Arrested, Two Released--Mr. Fan Mingsheng on a Hunger Strike
Police arrested six practitioners from the Dafangli Community in Harbin City on February 20, 2009, one of them Ms. Fu Hui from Zhaodong City, was sentenced to two years of forced labor and taken to the city's Qianjin Forced Labor Camp on March 27, 2009. Mr. Fan Mingsheng from Mishan City was admitted to Shuihua Forced Labor Camp and is on a hunger strike.
Mr. Jin Shaohua and Ms. Sun Lina have been released.
3. [Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province] The Persecution of Ms. Xu Ruilian and Her Husband, Mr. Qu Mao
Seventy-year-old Ms. Xu Ruilian and her husband, 70-year-old Mr. Qu Mao, from Liyue Town, Jiangmen City, were arrested in September 2008. Their grandson was put in an orphans' center and brought home seven days later. The couple was sentenced to eight years in prison in January 2009.

5. [Yi County, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Yunxia Arrested
Two officers from the Xishanbei Airport in Yi County broke into Ms. Li Yunxia's home in Linquan Village on January 7, 2009. They told her that their chief would like to talk with her for a little while, but she was arrested and then put in the county detention center. Her family heard that she was taken to Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp.

6. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Weijun and Ms. Pan Guiying Facing Illegal Trial
Personnel from the Jiang'an Police Station in the Longsha District arrested Mr. Wang Weijun and Ms. Pan Guiying on July 12, 2008. Their cases have been submitted to the district court and they are facing an illegal trial.

7. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ding Lu Arrested
Ms. Ding Lu went to see a friend on March 11, 2009, but personnel from the Minyun Police Station arrested her. Officers from the Renmin Square Police Station took her home and ransacked the place in the afternoon. They confiscated Dafa books, a few sets of Shen Yun Performance DVDs, a computer, a printer, an MP3 player, two cameras, and 4,000 yuan in cash. Ms. Ding is being held in Yaojia Detention Center.
Ms. Ding is a doctor at the Ship Factory Hospital. She has had to serve time in forced labor camps twice: a one-year and subsequent three-year stay in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. She was profoundly depressed and had a mental breakdown following the second forced labor stay.

8. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Huang Jianguo's Home Ransacked
Qingdao City Railway Station's Weifang Branch workshop secretary Li Weiguo and three other officials took a few gifts and went to Mr. Huang Jianguo's home the afternoon of March 5, 2009. They found one of Master's articles and a copy of the "Minghui Weekly" on the sofa. They then left.
Personnel from the Weifang Branch Police Station led by Li Weiguo broke into Mr. Huang's home and ransacked the place three days later in the morning. They confiscated truth-clarifying materials, a set of Master's lecture tapes when he taught in Jinan City, and a new computer.

9. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Repeated Arrest of Mr. Ma Chuncheng
Mr. Ma Chuncheng, who is from Jixi City but works in Harbin City, was recently arrested again. He had escaped arrest on February 19, 2009.
10. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Xiao Yanping Sentenced and Several Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Xiao Yanping from Nanzheng County, Hanzhong City, was arrested on May 7, 2008. Nanzheng County Court officials sentenced her to eight years in prison on March 27, 2009. Several practitioners went to attend the trial, but police arrested them in front of the court. Ms. Xu Yiqin was one of them.

11. [Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Cuimin Arrested
Personnel from the Tangshan City Nanbao Developmental District Police Station arrested Ms. Wang Cuimin, an employee of the Jidong Prison, on the afternoon of March 24, 2009. She is being held in the Changningdao Detention Center.

12. [Zhao County, Hebei Province] Mr. Sun Xingwei Held in the County Detention Center
Fanzhuang Police Station deputy chief Wang Haibo and seven other officers arrested Mr. Sun Xingwei from Da'an Village, Zhao County, the night of March 20, 2009. They ransacked his home and confiscated a computer. Mr. Sun is now in the county detention center.

13. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Guo Gang Sentenced to Five Years in Prison
Mr. Guo Gang from the Acheng District, Harbin City, was sentenced to five years in prison and transferred to Hulan Prison on July 30, 2008. He is being mistreated and abused in a tight administration team, and his family has been forbidden to visit him.

14. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Female Practitioner from Xin'an Town in the Huangdao District Arrested
A 50-year-old woman practitioner from Xin'an Town in the Huangdao District, Qingdao City, was arrested and taken to Liuhuapo Detention Center the afternoon of March 26, 2009.
15. [Xiantao City, Hubei Province] The Persecution of Mr. Liu Jun and Other Information
Personnel from the Xiantao City 610 Office and from the Domestic Security Division broke into 40-year-old Mr. Liu Jun's home, arrested him, and put him in the city's No. 1 Detention Center the night of September 24, 2007. He was tortured. Now he has hepatitis, nephritis, and rectocele. Mr. Liu was hospitalized on March 18, 2009.
Mr. Hu Feixiong and Mr. Fu Lingjun are also being held in the detention center. Mr. Mao Jun's family was unable to pay 23,000 yuan in extortion, so the police transferred him to Fanjiatai Prison in Shayang County, Hubei Province.

16. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] The Persecution of Ms. Liu Jinmei - Belated Information
Four people with shady identities broke into Ms. Liu Jinmei's factory and arrested her at 2:00 p.m. on October 14, 2007. The police brutally beat her and held her for 75 days. Her family had tens of thousands of yuan extorted from them to bail out Ms. Liu.
Ms. Liu was duped into a local court and then taken to Dashan Detention Center in Qingdao City on April 13, 2008. She has been held in the Jinan City Forced Labor Camp since August 20, 2008.
17. [Shandong Province] Practitioners Held in the Jinan City Prison
Several practitioners are being held in the Jinan City Prison: Mr. Huo Kunlin, Ms. Liu Jinmei's husband (arrested and held in the Jiaozhou City Detention Center on November 14, 2007), Ms. Wei Xiuju from Renping County, and Ms. Zhou Shenghua, Ms. Hei Jian'e, Mr. Zhai Yongqiang and Ms. Song Gui'e from Jiaozhou City.

Ms. Zhao Lili from Lishui City was arrested on November 27, 2008. She has been held in the Shanyansi Detention Center for four months and is facing unconstitutional trial.

19. [Tianjin] Police Arrest Ms. Chen Errong, Ms. Qiao and Ms. Wang Xiuli
Police arrested Ms. Chen Errong and Ms. Qiao from Tianjin City on March 23, 2009, when they distributed Falun Gong flyers in the Hexi District. Ms. Wang Xiuli from the Hedong District was also arrested and held in the district police department.

Personnel from the Anxin County Domestic Security Division arrested Mr. Liu Kexin on March 25, 2009. The police broke into Mr. Wang Wenping's home and ransacked the place but left after failing to find any Falun Gong materials.
21. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zheng Pingrong Transferred to the Wuhan City No. 1 Women's Detention Center
Personnel from the Hongshan District Police Station arrested Ms. Zheng Pingrong from Wuhan City at 4:00 p.m. on March 27, 2009. She is bing held in the city's No. 1 Women's Detention Center.

Ms. An Jinting was arrested in Shenze County on March 22, 2009. She is being held in a detention center in Shijiazhuang City.

Police arrested two practitioners at 9:00 a.m. on March 29, 2009, for distributing Falun Gong flyers in front of the Jiangkou Town Government building in Pengshan County. Their whereabouts are unknown.
