(Clearwisdom.net) May 13, 2009 is the 10th World Falun Dafa Day, and Master Li Hongzhi's 58th birthday. On May 10, Falun Gong practitioners from Hong Kong held a rally and parade, celebrating the Falun Dafa Day and wishing Master Li a happy birthday.

Many tourists watched the parade along with Hong Kong residents. The organizer of the parade said that since Hong Kong is close to Mainland China, practitioners hope that the parade can help call upon Chinese people to stand up against the persecution.
At 10 a.m., hundreds of practitioners did group exercises. At noon, with the Divine Land Marching Band's performances, practitioners were assembled and wished Master Li Hongzhi a happy birthday.
Mr. Liang, from Hong Kong, learned about the activity from the newspaper the Epoch Times. He came to the rally to support Falun Gong. He said he has been to Falun Gong's parade several times. "The world and China have hope with Falun Gong practitioners being here," he said.
The parade started at 2 p.m. and went through the busiest streets. Many people were attracted to it, especially Chinese tourists. A young girl said: "I am from China. I've never seen this. I am shocked." Another lady said: "Excellent, excellent," holding Falun Gong informational materials. She said she supports Falun Gong.
Many Chinese tourists were happy to see the parade. They took photos and waved to practitioners. One lady said: "Hong Kong is so different from China. It's two different worlds." They all expressed that they support Falun Gong.
Many Western tourists also stopped to watch to the parade. Practitioners passed out a lot of truth-clarifying materials.
The parade lasted two hours and at the end the bands performed again.
