(Clearwisdom.net) I started to practice Falun Gong in December 2008. Before then, I was afflicted with eight or nine illnesses, including brain arteriosclerosis, heart disease and diabetes. At the beginning of December my condition deteriorated and I was put on an IV for over a month, but it did not help and I became bedridden.
During that time, a Falun Gong practitioner told me to sincerely recite "Falun Dafa is good" in my heart. On December 20, I started to run a high fever in the evening and even after injections it would not subside. So, I decided to seek treatment in Jiamusi City the next day and bought tickets to travel there. By the evening of that day, my condition became even worse and I found it hard to bear it.
Suddenly, I remembered what the practitioner told me, so I started to recite "Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." I said to Master Li in my heart, "Master Li, please save me." Then I fell asleep. The next morning, when I woke up, I felt my whole body was light and relaxed and I could even get out of bed to cook for my son. I was very grateful to Master Li and told my son to return the tickets. I would remain faithful to Master Li and Dafa.
After breakfast, I went to a practitioner's home and asked her to get me a copy of the book Zhuan Falun. When I received the book, I felt like I had obtained the most precious treasure in the world. I could not let go of the book. Every day I would spend most of the time reading the book and was able to read two or three lectures a day. At night, when I could not sleep, I would sit up and read the book for a couple of hours. At the time, I was still very weak and when I got tired, I would lie down for a while and then sit up again to read. My health was improving every day. Due to poor health, my hair had turned completely grey in my 30s. Through reading the book and studying the Fa, my hair gradually turned black again. In the past, I always had to take a taxi whenever I went out, but now I could walk swiftly.
I asked Master to help me clean out my home environment. I got rid of all the bad things that I used to worship at home. That night, I had a dream and felt as if someone was doing an operation on me and said that I had a liver problem, but I could not see anyone. I woke up immediately and realized that it was Master cleansing my body. Now both my liver and gall bladder problems are gone and I no longer have any pain.
On January 14, 2009, I started to practice Falun Gong. After five or six days, one evening after eight o'clock, when I was doing the fifth exercise, I suddenly heard laughter, and I saw Maitreya appearing in front of my eyes and then disappear. After that I saw Master Li in a suit appearing in front of me, and then he disappeared as well. No words could describe my feelings at the time. I was awake all night. Thank you Master for the encouragement. I will cultivate very diligently in Dafa.
