(Clearwisdom.net) Meeting Laowu was definitely not by chance. When I traveled to other cities on my business errands, I would talk about the goodness of Dafa to everyone with a predestined relationship, and persuade them to withdraw from the Party. In January 2005, I met someone who tried to persuade me to withdraw from the Party: Laowu. After sharing with him, I realized that he is not a practitioner, just a person who understands the truth about Dafa.
Laowu once served a term in a labor camp, during which time he was instructed by police to monitor Dafa disciples. During this period, he came into contact with many disciples. Many practitioners clarified the truth of the persecution and the goodness of Dafa to him. In prison, he witnessed first hand the great persecution suffered by Dafa disciples. Slowly, he stopped following the instructions of the prison guards and actively helped practitioners. Later, his sentence was lengthened for a year for helping practitioners communicate with each other. He would always try to stop the guards from physically abusing practitioners, speak out for what was right, and once he was brutally beaten and even now suffers pain in his liver.
After being released from prison, Laowu would take every opportunity to clarify the truth about Falun Gong as well as the inhumane persecution of practitioners in labor camps to anyone he met. Many people whose minds were previously poisoned were stunned, while some who blindly followed the CCP would ask, "Falun Gong doesn't even appear on the news now, how can there be such cruel persecution going on?" Laowu would reply, "These things are what I've seen and heard with my own eyes and ears, they happened right in front of me."
On April 7, 2009, Laowu called and told me that he had contracted Hepatitis B; he couldn't eat, felt pain in his stomach, couldn't sleep and was without energy. He thought of Dafa and realized that he truly wanted to learn it. I took a copy of "Zhuan Falun" and the 2009 Divine Performing Arts DVD to his place and told him, "No matter how painful it might be, read Zhuan Falun cover to cover once, and when you're not reading, recite 'Falun Dafa is Good', 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good'. The moment Laowu received the book, he said, "This is miraculous, ever since you entered my room, my liver has not been hurting anymore, but it still feels a little uneasy."
In the days that followed, even though the pain stopped, he could not regain his appetite. Sometimes the pain recurred and became unbearable. Laowu decided to go back to his hometown in Northeastern China to get another full checkup. On the afternoon he made his decision, I gave him a copy of Master's lecture in mp3 audio format, asked him to listen to it on the train, and not give up on Dafa.
The second day, Laowu called me on the phone, "Sister, ever since I listened to Master's lecture, my liver stopped hurting. For an entire day, I felt very good, Dafa is truly miraculous!" That same night I visited him again, "I wandered around for an entire day without sleep, but I still have no appetite." I asked him not to give up Dafa, because Dafa is beyond the ordinary. In the midst of our conversation, Laowu suddenly exclaimed, "Sister, I suddenly feel hungry!"
Laowu returned to his home. At around 8 a.m. on May 2, I received a call from him, he exclaimed happily over the phone, "I had a full body checkup, everything is back to normal. I told him that the doctors in Tianjin diagnosed me with Hepatitis B, but they wouldn't believe me. They did more tests and everything was normal. Sis, I'm really healed!"
Laowu witnessed the power of Dafa by himself and thanked me nonstop. I told him to thank Master instead. It is Master who is protecting him, helping him to remove the karma, it is truly Master!
Laowu is saved, his health recovered. It is Master and the Fa who brought him back from the brink of death. It is also his reward for speaking up for the Fa. The even greater return is that he has obtained Dafa, and is able to conduct himself according to the requirements of Fa principles.
