Community Director of Shihezi City in Xinjiang Receives Retribution
Wu Shaoqing was a director of a community in the Sixth District of Shihezi City. While he was acting as the director of the community, he frequently led police to harass Falun Gong practitioners. Practitioners kindly told him the truth about Falun Gong, yet he replied: "I don't believe anything about retribution. If you have the ability, then punish me. The Party pays me money, so I will work for it." While the Olympic torch was relaying in Shihezi City, Wu arranged for some unemployed people to closely monitor Falun Gong practitioners day and night. He also personally brought police to practitioners' homes to harass them.
In early May of 2009, Wu was diagnosed with bone cancer, and died in pain at a hospital.
Head of No. 1 Building of Qingyun North District in Haidian District, Beijing dies
The head of the Number 1 building of Qingyun North District in Haidian District of Beijing City, Mr. Zhang (in his 50s), was actively involved in persecuting Falun Gong. During the Olympic Games, he saw two strangers in the courtyard. He believed they were distributing Falun Gong information. He reported this to the Shuangyushu Police Station and the police came and arrested the two people.
On May 10, 2009, windows were being installed on the fifth floor above his apartment. He looked up from his window. A piece of glass fell on his neck and cut his artery, killing him.
The Decline of a Prestigious High School
Liaoheyoutian Experimental High School in Panjin City, Liaoning Province was the best high school in Panjin City. Students from other cities felt honored to be admitted to this school. Yet, the school is currently on the verge of bankruptcy. The school tried various means, but still could not attract students. There was much criticism from society and parents. They criticized that the leaders were involved in improper occupations and the teachers were fooling the students. Parents regretted that they sent their children to the school. How did the school change from the most famous to the most notorious? We found that it's because the school was complicit in persecuting Falun Gong. During the ten year persecution of Falun Gong, practitioners in this high school were severely persecuted. Some leaders of the high school colluded with the 610 Office to persecute the Falun Gong practitioners who were the best teachers at the school. Two of the teachers were illegally sentenced. Meng Jiang was sentenced to thirteen years in prison. He is currently still detained in prison. The other Math teacher was sentenced to five years in prison and expelled from school.
Some teachers were taken to brainwashing classes by leaders of the school. Some lost their jobs. Some were forced to retire early. These teachers were all recognized as the best teachers by the students and their parents, and yet received such unfair treatment.
The continuous decline of the high school is retribution received by the school for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners.
