(Clearwisdom.net) On June 27, the Shen Yun Performing Arts presented its first-ever show in South America at the Auditorio Belgrano in Buenos Aires, kicking off an 18 show tour in Argentina and Chile.
Although the Chinese Embassy in Argentina tried to sabotage the show by asking local Chinese immigrants not to attend, the theater saw a full house with many Chinese audience members commenting that the show gave a wonderful presentation of China's rich culture.

When the curtain opened for the first time and the magnificent heavens were unveiled, the audience was awed. At the beginning of the show, following normal practice, the audience applauded at the end of each number. However, as the show went on, applause from the audience became heated. Toward the latter part of the show, applause started well before a number concluded. When the performers took a bow at the very end, exclamations, cheers and thunderous applause resounded in the theater. The performers took three curtain calls.
Ms. Yang from Xiaan watched the show with her husband and her nephew. Though they had heard about the show and read related reports and knew that many artists gave high marks to the show, she said that the performance was beyond her expectation and she felt very lucky to have this opportunity. "We thank God for bringing these performers here. Though I lived in China for many years, I never saw such a beautiful Chinese cultural show."
Mr. Yang and Ms. Liu
When they were told that the Chinese Embassy tried to block local Chinese from seeing the show, Ms. Yang commented: "It is ridiculous. This spectacular show gave a wonderful presentation of the culture of Chinese and other ethnic groups. Shen Yun is doing a great thing by presenting authentic Chinese culture to the world."
Mr. Liu said that he had many reflections on the show and he'd heard that it generated a sensation in Taiwan. The stage layout, music and choreography were very good and the show gave a very accurate presentation of the inner meaning of Chinese culture.
