(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 7 provinces. In this report, 9 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 13 practitioners were "illegally arrested."
1. [Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Jinsheng in Grave Danger at the Dabei Prison
Mr. Zhang is currently in the Dabei Prison in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. He is weak and in grave danger from severe persecution in prison.

2. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Ruihua Arrested
On June 8, 2009, agents from Beixinjie Police Station in Shijiazhuang City arrested Ms. Zhang Ruihua. She is now being held at the Judicial Bureau.
3. [Beijing] Police Seize Ms. He Zhiying and Li Chongrui
On June 26, 2009, police ransacked the home of Ms. He Zhiying, an employee from the Beijiao Hospital in Huoying, Beijing. The home intruders confiscated her computer and printer.
Li Chongrui was seized at the same time.
4. [Shangdong Province] Mr. Yang Wenbiao and His Wife Arrested
Mr. Yang Wenbiao is a resident of Nanfan Village, Luocheng Town in Shandong Province. At noon on November 5, 2008, numerous agents from the Shouguang City Domestic Security Brigade and from the Luocheng Police Station broke into his home. They confiscated his Dafa books and MP3 player before taking him and his wife to the Luocheng Police Station. While there, the police handcuffed Mr. Yang's arms behind his back, then yanked the handcuffs up and slammed him hard to the ground. They then stomped on his legs and feet until he could no longer move. The police held the couple for three days and then extorted 50,000 yuan from their family before releasing Mr. Yang's wife. Mr. Yang, however, was transferred to the Shouguang Detention Center where he is still in custody.
5. [Yanshi City, Henan Province] High School Student Yang Xiangpei Detained for Defending Falun Gong in Class
In late May 2009, high school student Yang Xiangpei defended Falun Gong in his political science class. The teacher reported him to the 610 Office, whose agents then arrested him. Xiangpei is still detained as of today.
6. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Di Arrested
Ms. Liu worked at Dongguang Auto Company in Changchun City. On the afternoon of June 28, 2009, agents from the Weixinglu Police Station seized her. Her computer and other belongings were confiscated.
7. [Luquan City, Hebei Province] Zhang Yun, Yang Runxia and Qiu Yanshuang
Arrested
On June 11, 2009, agents from the Luquan City Police Department arrested Zhang Yun, Yang Runxia and Qiu Yanshuang in a downtown area. The three practitioners are currently being held in the Luquan Detention Center.
8. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Police Seize Mr. Yang Guoshu
At around 9:30 a.m. on June 30, 2009, agents from the Beicheng Police Department arrested Mr. Yang Guoshu.
9. [Hailaer City, Inner Mongolia] Mr. Jin, Mr. Yu Guohua and Mr. Wang Zhankun Arrested
Police seized Mr. Jin, Mr. Yu Guohua and Mr. Wang Zhankun on June 28, 2009.
10. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Additional Information Regarding the Persecution of Mr. Wu Ruirong
In 2002, agents from the Hengyang Police Department, from the National Security Brigade and from the 610 Office suspected Mr. Wu of having developed a photo of Master's image in his brother-in-law's photo shop. They beat him three times to the point of unconsciousness before sending him to a forced labor camp, to serve a two-year term. They also closed the photo shop and forbade re-opening it unless Mr. Wu's brother-in-law paid 350,000 yuan, an act of extortion.
In May 2008, Mr. Wu was arrested again and later sent to the Xinkaipu Forced Labor Camp, to serve a one-and-a-half year term.
On February 11, 2009, labor camp Team Seven political head Mao Wei instigated criminals to beat Mr. Wu. The beating loosened two of Mr. Wu's teeth and blood streamed from his mouth. He was then sent to a confinement cell.
11. [Linli County, Hunan Province] Ms. Guo Zhaoqing Transferred to Changde City's First Detention Center
Ms. Guo Zhaoqing was originally held in the Linli County Detention Center but was transferred to the Changde Detention Center on June 23, 2009.
12. [Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Wang Juxian from Guangfeng County Arrested by Deputy Police Chief Zhou Nengwu
13. [Xuyong County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Tianyun Arrested at the Luzhou Airport
On June 17, 2009, Ms. Li Tianyun and her husband were about to take a flight to Shenzhen at Luzhou Airport. Several regime agents who found truth-clarification materials in her purse intercepted her. Ms. Li is now being held in the Luzhou Detention Center.
14. [Shanghai] Dr. Du Arrested While Clarifying the Facts
Dr. Du is in her fifties and was arrested in early June 2009 while clarifying the facts in downtown Shanghai.
15. [Loudi City, Hunan Province] Liang Keming Arrested
Taxi driver Mr. Liang Keming was reported and subsequently arrested on the evening of June 25, 2009. The arrest happened around 8:00 p.m. as he clarified the facts to his passenger. Mr. Liang is held in the Loudi First Detention Center.

16. [Shangzhi City, Heilongjiang Province] Qianjin Forced Labor Camp Officials Still Refuse to Release Jia Xinghua though Her Term Has Expired
Ms. Jia Xinghua, 50, was arrested on the evening of June 26, 2007, while clarifying the facts. She was eventually sent to the Qianjin Forced Labor Camp in Harbin City, to serve a two-year term. Her release date was June 25, 2009, but labor camp officials have refused to release her.
17. [Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province] Liu Xingjun Arrested
At around 6:00 p.m. on June 18, 2009, Yang Songhuai and Gao Jingsong from the Xinxing Police Station broke into Ms. Liu Xingjun's home. The persecutors were accompanied by Yao Yujun, Yu Guirong and Shang Jinrong from the Xin'an Street Committee. They took Ms. Liu away and confiscated her Dafa books and other personal belongings.
