(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioners from Wisconsin and Illinois participated the annual South Shore Frolics Day parade on July 11, 2009, to display the beauty of Falun Dafa to local residents. It was a pleasant summer day in Milwaukee, with clear skies and a mild breeze. Along the route, spectators applauded and waved. Many took photos and video and accepted truth-clarifying materials describing the beauty of Falun Dafa and the truth about the persecution.

This year marked the 60th anniversary of the South Shore Frolics Festival that is a tradition in the city. Every year, the grand parade is an important part of the festival that attracts thousands of families. Falun Gong has been an outstanding participant for many years.
The Falun Gong procession was led by large banners reading "Falun Dafa," "Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance," and "Falun Dafa Is Good." Following the banners came the decorated float with two adult and two little practitioners sitting in the lotus flowers demonstrating the exercises. The display emphasized the peace and serenity of Falun Dafa.
