(Clearwisdom.net) In May 2009, Ms. Chen Hongyu and her husband from Liuhe Town, Liuhe County, Jilin Province, were illegally arrested for practicing Falun Dafa. Ms. Chen was sentenced to two years in a forced labor camp and is being detained in the Six Division of Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp. She has been subjected to severe abuse and torture in detention.
After Ms. Chen was sent to the forced labor camp, she firmly resisted the persecution and refused to write a "guarantee letter," do forced labor, or wear the prison uniform. Two days later, the deputy captain of the Sixth Division, Ding Caihong and guard Zhang Tao each took an electric baton to torture Ms. Chen. She persuaded them not to commit violence against her. However, collaborator Hao Yuxia provoked the two guards to torture Ms. Chen. The two guards used two electric batons to shock her neck. After a while they saw that Ms. Chen no longer had a pained expression on her face. Zhang said that her baton did not work and changed it for another one.
The guards thought that the electric shock did not work on Ms. Chen so they shouted viciously, "Strip her!" Then five people, collaborators Hao Yuxia, Dong Zirong and Yan Shuxia, together with guards Ding and Zhang, forcibly stripped her and left her naked. Policeman Zhang called in two more guards, Guo Kuanmin and Liu Lanlan, and seven of them forced Ms. Chen to put on the prison uniform, then handcuffed her to a bed.
The next day, Ms. Chen took off the prison uniform and took the opportunity to go to the washroom and then tried to sleep. The collaborator who was guarding her forced her to put the prison uniform on again. After repeating this process for several days, the guard became disinterested with it and sometimes left Ms. Chen alone. One Sunday afternoon, when Ding Caihong was on duty and found Ms. Chen not wearing the prison uniform, she got angry. She abused and threatened the collaborators so as to intensify the persecution against Ms. Chen. The three collaborators then hung Ms. Chen by the arms from a bunk bed, with her two arms pulled straight and only her toes touching the ground. She was kept in this position from 6:30 a.m. to 12 midnight, the intense pain making Ms. Chen sweat profusely.
The next morning, Zhang Tao released Ms. Chen. Ding Caihong opposed this and hung Ms. Chen up again, this time until 4:00 p.m. Because the handcuffs were locked very tightly, Ms. Chen's wrists developed big welts. During this time, Hao Yuxia and Guo Kuanmin were penalized for not doing their best to monitor Ms. Chen and their sentence terms were not reduced. Consequently they severely beat Ms. Chen. Yan Shuxia tightened Ms. Chen's handcuffs. Guo Kuanmin received karmic retribution for persecuting Ms. Chen and became more clear minded and did not want to be involved in the persecution anymore, but because Ding Caihong abused her, she did continue to persecute Ms. Chen.
