Over the last ten years, practitioners in Singapore have kept clarifying the truth about Falun Gong and exposing the persecution to the public. Thousands of Chinese tourists, workers and students have learned the truth from them.
Many Chinese people have expressed their support for Falun Gong, and some of them have quit the communist party.
Ms. Fu, a Chinese woman living in Singapore, told a practitioner that she saw her in front of the Chinese Embassy in 2005. Ms. Fu was deeply touched by the practitioners' suffering. She said she is a Christian and she will pray for the practitioners.
Many Chinese workers read the truth-clarifying materials. They told practitioners that they often read the Epoch Times newspaper and some of them have quit the party.
A woman and her son from Shijiazhuang told practitioners that she had neighbors who practice Falun Gong. "The persecution is so brutal," she said. She took a lot of truth-clarifying materials.
A young man from Shandong Province was shocked by the news of quiting the party. He said: "I know the party cannot change its evil nature." He was surprised that members of the party or people who have been involved in the persecution cannot emigrate to the U.S.A. "I am a member. I will consider quiting it," he left with a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and some DVDs about Falun Gong.
Practitioners from Singapore will keep clarifying the truth until the persecution ends.
Background
Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is a traditional Chinese spiritual discipline for mind and body. The practice involves slow, gentle movements and meditation. It is easy to learn, enjoyable to practice, and free of charge. Its principles are based on Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The practice began in China in 1992 and quickly spread by word of mouth throughout China and then beyond. Its beneficial effects in uplifting an individual's physical health, spiritual well-being and moral character, not to mention its positive influence in the community and society as a whole, have been undeniable. In fact, Falun Gong is practiced by over 100 million people in 60 countries. The main works of Falun Gong are available in over 30 languages.
On July 20, 1999, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched a brutal persecution of Falun Gong. Since the start of the persecution, Falun Gong practitioners throughout the world have been constantly speaking out about the truth of Falun Gong and exposing the CCP's crimes in a tireless effort to end the persecution.
