(Clearwisdom.net) On July 23, the International Track and Field Games was held by the Taipei Track and Field Games Association in Taiwan. The games are considered a rehearsal of the Deaflympics 2009, which will be held in Taipei in September. The organizers invited the Divine Land Marching Band to perform at the opening.
The opening was hosted by the mayor of Taipei, Hao Longbin. The Divine Land Marching Band, consisting of 250 Falun Gong practitioners, led the athletes in entering the field.

On October 29, 2006, 2000 Falun Gong practitioners were invited to perform at the 50th Anniversary of Taipei Stadium and the National Track and Field Games.
Three years ago, in the same stadium, 2000 Falun Gong practitioners performed at the 50th Anniversary of Taipei Stadium and National Track and Field Games, and made a very deep impression on the organizers, so they were invited back to perform at this opening again.
