(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Wang Shurong, in her sixties, and Wang Shaorong from Zhonggong Town, Jinan City, Shandong Province were arrested by officers from the Gaoer Police Station while distributing truth clarification materials in Gaoer on July 8, 2009. They were taken to the Liuchangshan Brainwashing Center.
Practitioner Wu Yugen from the Yanshan subdivision in Lixia District was arrested while distributing truth clarification materials in the Yanshan subdivision, and has also been imprisoned at Liuchangshan Brainwashing Center.
Practitioner Jiao Cuilan from Licheng District was arrested by officers from Dongfeng Police Station because she was distributing truth clarification materials on July 4, 2009. She was sent to Zhangzhuang Detention Center on July 5, 2009. Authorities at the Dongfeng Police Station planned to sentence her to one year of forced labor after her detention.
Practitioner Mr. Wang Jigang, 68, is from Lixia District, Jinan City. He is retired from the Movie Equipment Factory. He was arrested by officers from Dongguan Street Police Station and has been detained in the Zhangzhuang Detention Center.
Practitioner Liu Ruping from Changqing District was arrested by officers from Jinan Police Station and the Changqing 610 Office on July 2, 2009. The Jinan Police Department, Changqing Police Department and the Changqing 610 Office have been involved in the persecution. Specific police officers involved in the persecution include a policeman with the surname of Fang from the city police department, Wang Feng from Changqing Police Department (phone number: 86-531-87225936 (Home), 86-13589108321 (Cell)), Zhang Jibin (phone number: 86-13188943831 (Cell), 86-15315119295 (Cell)) and Meng Qian, chief of the 610 Office, among others. Liu Ruping has been illegally detained in Liuchangshan Brainwashing Center.
On June 4, 2009, practitioner Li Guizhen from Huaiyin District was arrested in Kuangshan. At about 5:00 p.m. on June 5, 2009, Li Guizhen was taken to the Jinan Detention Center to be persecuted.
At around 8:00 p.m. on May 1, 2009, Xue Ziqing, from Jinan Science Academy, was reported by people who didn't know the truth about Dafa while she was distributing Dafa materials in a subdivision on Jingshi Road. Her home was ransacked by officers from the Jingshi Road Police Station. Sun Hui, assistant director of the 610 Office in the Lixia District Police Station, intends to persecute her more severely.
Practitioner Tang Xuchang from Jinan was sentenced without trial to one and a half years in prison after being illegally detained for two weeks.
