On Tuesday November 8, 2005, the head of the Chinese Communist Party visited England. Falun Gong practitioners from the UK and Europe appealed near London's Buckingham Palace to call on him to stop the persecution of Falun Gong. The practitioners held banners worded, "Bring Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang to Justice," "Falun Dafa is Great!" "Hu Jintao, the Time that Heaven and the People Give to You is Limited," and "Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong." As Hu's motorcade passed by, the practitioners also spoke these phrases loudly towards it.

Since 1999, the Chinese Communist Party has waged a brutal and systematic persecution against the 100 million people in China who practice Falun Gong. Over 2,700 innocent practitioners have lost their lives at the hands of the CCP, many of them through torture. Practitioners all over the world have joined practitioners in China for the past five years in peacefully appealing for an end to the persecution and calling for people in China to enjoy the same freedom to practice Falun Gong as people all over the world.

Due to the media attention on this event, many journalists were interested in talking to Falun Gong practitioners about why they were appealing to Hu Jintao. One practitioner told Clearharmony: "Falun Gong practitioners' tireless efforts were intended to have Hu Jintao learn the facts about Falun Gong and to help him make a wise choice, stopping the persecution against Falun Gong and choosing a bright future for himself and the Chinese people." Interviews were aired on radio and TV including the BBC's flagship political program Newsnight, where a practitioner outlined the horrific forms of torture that are used on Falun Gong practitioners.

Throughout the past week, many activities have been held all over London to let people know about the human rights atrocities that the CCP continues to commit against Falun Gong practitioners. These have included anti-torture exhibitions where practitioners have simulated just a few of the many forms of torture that the CCP regularly employs in attempts to force Falun Gong practitioners to renounce their beliefs.

The practitioners will continue their 24 hour appeal at Buckingham Palace until Hu leaves on Thursday morning.

From October 31 to November 4, 2005, the "Photography Exhibit of Falun Gong Practitioners Clarifying the Truth" came to the Student Center of National Changhua University of Education. Professor Liu Zhengyi from Chungxing University, the director of the Changhua County Cultural Department, and the executive director of the Banxian Cultural Foundation attended the opening ceremony on October 31. This is one stop on the photo exhibition's tour of Taiwan universities and colleges. The purpose of the exhibition is to let the public know more about Falun Gong and learn the truth about the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong so as to work together to end the persecution.

Most of the photos on view focused on displaying the magnificent feat of practitioners from all over the world peacefully resisting the persecution. The 120 photographs depict the various kinds of activities that practitioners have conducted. Moreover, the photos also reflect Falun Gong practitioners' indestructible righteous faith in the truth of the universe and their righteous thoughts and righteous actions.

The vice president of Changhua University of Education and professors from the Chinese Language Department visited the exhibition. They listened carefully to the introduction and obtained a deeper understanding of Falun Gong. One professor was highly in favor of the exhibition and praised the Falun Gong practitioners' actions to clarifying the truth about Falun Gong all over the world. When he saw a picture of a little practitioner practicing Falun Gong, he nodded his head and said, "This is really good. If all children practice Falun Gong, there won't be any children addicted to computer games."

Another visitor said that he intensely disliked the Chinese Communist Party's atrocities. A researcher in that area, he said that he had found a book called Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party in a bookstore and had read it twice. He said the book was very well written and he wanted to promote it in colleges and to every segment of society. He wanted everyone to read the book and recognize the true face of the evil Communist Party.

The exhibition is small, but it illustrates the truth of Falun Gong from the time it was first introduced to the public to Falun Gong practitioners' truth clarifying activities throughout the world. It provides viewers with new ideas for thought.
