On November 16, Chinese President Hu Jintao arrived in Seoul to attend the APEC conference (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation). In front of the hotel where Hu was staying, practitioners displayed a huge banner worded, "Hu Jintao, the time that Heaven and the people have given you is limited." In the afternoon, when Hu walked out the hotel, a Korean practitioner told Hu face-to-face, in Chinese, "Falun Gong, Falun Dafa is good." Perhaps Hu Jintao didn't expect to run into a practitioner so close, as he showed surprised and hurried into his limousine.

On the morning of the 16th, Hu Jintao met with Korean representatives from many different circles inside the hotel. Outside the hotel, there was a sea of protesters. Among the groups protesting for various causes, Falun Gong practitioners displayed huge banners which read, "Bring Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang to Justice," "Bring all perpetrators of the persecution to Justice," among other messages. In addition, a very eye-catching banner was displayed: "Hu Jintao, the time that Heaven and the people have given you is limited."

Practitioner Huang Xiaoming, former swimming medallist and one of the top 5 swimming athletes in China, also participated in the peaceful protest. She told the reporter, "I hope that Hu will cherish his own future and welfare."
The Korean authorities brought in more than ten huge trucks to block the protest groups so that Hu wouldn't see them. In addition, the authorities also deployed many police officers to guard all the entrances to the hotel, and didn't allow reporters to take any photos. One officer told this reporter, We are very sorry. We know you are right and we know the truth of the persecution. However, we are pressured by the Chinese Communist regime to take these actions."
Upon seeing what was happening, using a megaphone, a Korean lawyer called on the police officers: "Nowadays people around the world are all supporting Falun Gong and protesting the CCP's [Chinese Communist Party] human rights violations. How can you treat these kindhearted people like this while the Korean government allowed human rights ruffian Bo Xilai to enter the border? It is a shame to Korea. Your interference to protesters has violated our own laws. I hope you won't disgrace our nation."
During the time when Chinese President Hu Jintao visited Düsseldorf and Dortmund, Falun Gong practitioners from Europe and Germany held a series of activities to clarify the truth, and expose the Chinese Communist regime's brutal persecution of Falun Gong to people from all walks of life. They also called upon people to extend their help to stop the persecution in China.

Parade and rally in Düsseldorf
At 2:00 p.m. on November 12, 2005, led by waist drummers, the Falun Gong practitioners' parade set off from the train interchange square in Düsseldorf. The procession was composed of a waist drum group, a celestial maidens dance group, practitioners wearing white clothing and holding photos of Falun Gong practitioners who have died as a result of the persecution, and over a hundred banners and photo display boards. As it was Saturday, many people were shopping and strolling in the busy streets. When they heard the vigorous waist drumming and saw the grand parade, they could not help slowing their hurried steps and watching attentively. During the two-and-a-half-hour parade, reporters and passersby kept taking pictures of different groups in the parade. Passersby who stopped and watched happily took truth-clarification materials from practitioners.

As local practitioners had made great efforts to clarify the truth to the police when applying for a permit for the parade, the police allowed the parade to pass by the local Chinese Trade Center and two Chinese shops. Due to pressure from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), practitioners were not permitted to enter the Chinese Trade Center to distribute truth clarification materials. However, when the practitioners' procession passed by, staffers working inside the Chinese Trade Center Building gathered at the windows to watch the parade and read the messages on the banners. The police officers on duty said to the practitioners, "If it were up to me, I would permit you all to enter the Chinese Trade Center to distribute materials and clarify the truth."

Along the route, Chinese students watched the parade. Some practitioners heard a young man say to his girlfriend beside him, "Their parade is grand!"
The destination of the parade was the square near City Hall along the Rhine River, where a rally was held. When the procession reached the square, democracy activists, human rights organization representatives, the president of the European Falun Dafa Association, and practitioners who have suffered persecution in China made speeches for one and a half hours. They depicted, from different perspectives, the persecution of Falun Gong under the CCP's rule and called upon the German people and government to call for an end to the persecution during Hu Jintao's visit to Germany.

Prior to Hu's visit, when Falun Gong practitioners held an anti-torture exhibit in front of the Düsseldorf State Parliament Building, reporters from the nearby central media building saw it. They came over to the practitioners' information booth to learn the facts and then said that they would interview Falun Gong practitioners' appeal activities during Hu's visit. The popular German TV stations WDR and SAT1 took photos and videotaped the practitioners' parade and rally, and mentioned Falun Gong's peaceful appeal in that night's report on Hu's visit.

On the evening of November 12, when Hu Jintao had dinner with 200 German officials at the Staendehaus in Düsseldorf, Falun Gong practitioners also stood on the lawn outside the front entrance to the building to peacefully protest and call for an end to the persecution. Though the activity got a permit in advance, the police came over to forbid practitioners to shout out messages through a loudspeaker, and kept ordering the practitioners to retreat. The police said that they did so on orders from inside the building. When the dinner was about to end, the police cordoned off an area of several dozen meters outside the front entrance and forbade anybody to enter. Practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts, and some continued clarifying the truth to the police. Eventually, two practitioners unfolded two banners reading, "Falun Dafa is Great" about two meters away from Hu's motorcade.

While shouting out messages, practitioners clearly saw some Chinese people walking out of the back door with a police escort. Regardless of whether they were from the business field or the Chinese consulate, they clearly heard the Falun Gong practitioners' call for ending the persecution. After that, the police told practitioners that someone who dined with Hu Jintao inside said that they could clearly hear the practitioners' appeal from inside the building. When practitioners left, the police said to them that they did not want to restrict the practitioners' peaceful demonstration, but the pressure from the Chinese side was huge, and they hoped the practitioners would understand. They said that they thought the practitioners had behaved well, and also hoped the persecution would be ended soon.
Clarifying the truth in Dortmund
Hu Jintao also visited Dortmund, an industrial town in Germany. After clarifying the truth to the police, practitioners were granted a permit to have a Falun Gong truth clarification stand and display a banner along the route that Hu's motorcade would pass. The motorcade passed by just several meters away from the practitioners' banner and passed the practitioners' stand and banners once again after visiting the industrial area. The banners carried such messages as, "Falun Dafa is Great," "Stop Persecuting Falun Gong," and "Hu Jintao, the Time that Heaven and the People Have Given You is Limited."
On November 13, practitioners from many European countries gathered in Madrid to conduct peaceful appeals, calling for an end to the persecution.

During Chinese President Hu's state visit to Spain, Madrid suddenly became very cold. Furthermore, the typically dry weather turned gloomy and rainy with occasional heavy rain. However, despite the bad weather, practitioners patiently waited outside locations where the Chinese delegation was to be present in order to let Hu and other Chinese officials know: "Falun Dafa is good!" "Hu Jintao: the time that Heaven and the people have given you is limited!" Practitioners also displayed banners which read, "Bring the criminals, Jiang Zemin, Luo Guan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkan [the four chief culprits of the persecution] to Justice," "Bring the Unlawful Police and Thugs to Justice," and "Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong."
At noontime on November 13, practitioners were waiting at both sides of a plaza outside the hotel where Hu was to stay during his visit. About half an hour before Hu's arrival, more than 100 Chinese people suddenly came out from a nearby park. It was said that these people were organized by the Chinese Embassy to welcome Hu, but in fact, they were organized to sabotage the practitioners' appeal. They squeezed in front of the practitioners' group and used Chinese national flags to block the practitioners' banners. With compassion, the practitioners clarified the truth to them and told them not to interfere. While some of the Chinese lowered their heads without saying a word, others sneered or even cursed at the practitioners. Regardless of their responses, the practitioners maintained a compassionate heart and continued to clarify the truth to these Chinese people deceived by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
When Hu and his motorcade arrived, with compassionate hearts, both Chinese and Western practitioners shouted aloud their heartfelt message: "Falun Dafa is good! Hu Jintao: the time that Heaven and the people have given you is limited! Stop the persecution of Falun Gong..." When Hu's motorcade passed by, now and then people in the cars waved towards the practitioners and some also turned around to read the practitioners' banners. In the meantime, the noise made by the "welcome group" was totally submerged by the practitioners' compassionate voice.
When Hu's delegation arrived, members of the organized "welcome group" persisted in trying to squeeze to the front to cover the practitioners' banners, defying the arrangement of the police authority. Consequently, they were driven away to the nearby park. Later, some members of this group argued emotionally with the police, their rage and harsh language casting a clear contrast to Falun Gong's exceptionally peaceful demeanor.
When leaving the site, the "welcome group" passed by the practitioners' group. The practitioners started to sing the songs, "Coming for You" and "Falun Dafa is Good": "Precious Chinese, please listen to my heartfelt voice, Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is good! See the truth behind the lies..." The atmosphere suddenly changed and it became very quiet. Apparently, many of them were touched by the compassionate voice and the sincere lyrics. With tears in their eyes, the practitioners continued: "Coming from far away, again and again, I came for you, I came for loving you. Precious Chinese people, did you know that the whole world is saying, 'Falun Dafa is good, Falun Dafa Hao!'" The practitioners sang this song again and again, and some of the Chinese people had tears in their eyes and even the police on duty were moved to tears though they didn't understand Chinese.

During the three days, Dafa practitioners continuously waited in the cold and rain outside Hu's Jintao's hotel and other venues where Hu was to visit. At every location that Hu visited, practitioners compassionately called on him to awaken his conscience. At every location, there were practitioners displaying, "Falun Dafa is good" banners. Hu Jintao saw the message and heard the message. When Hu was just getting into his limousine at City Hall, a Western practitioner approached the vehicle to display a "Falun Dafa, Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" banner. Meanwhile, he said loudly in Chinese: "Falun Dafa is good!" Having heard the voice, Hu looked back from his vehicle. He then saw the banner. In addition, when Hu's motorcade passed by the practitioners' group, everyone in the cars turned to look at them and the banners. They all heard the practitioners' compassionate, heart-felt voice.
The practitioners' peace and persistence, as well as their truth clarification, moved many people. A policeman who was on duty at Hu's hotel approached a practitioner while chanting, "Falun Dafa is good" in Chinese. The officer asked, "Did I pronounce it right?" The practitioner told him, "You did great." There was another police officer who told the practitioners, "I am on duty right now and can't learn the practice. After I get off duty and change my clothes, I will come to learn Falun Gong." When the practitioners sang "Falun Dafa is Good" in Chinese, the police officers enjoyed the song very much. One of them even earnestly learned to sing the song.
At a garden in front of Hu's hotel, after learning about the truth of Falun Dafa, a group of teenagers came up to some practitioners who were practicing the Falun Gong exercises and asked practitioners to teach them the practice. They all learned earnestly.
On November 15, outside the China-Spain Business Summit, a police office who had learned about Falun Gong and the persecution commented, "Spain is a democratic county. Any dictator or human rights ruffian is not welcome here!" Another police officer requested a copy of a Falun Gong flier and wrote down the contact information. In addition, he said that he would go to a practice site to learn the exercises. On a major street in Madrid, almost all the bustling vehicles slowed down to read the practitioners' banners.
After the appeal concluded, practitioners at all the appeal sites thanked the on-duty police officers. The police also thanked the practitioners for their cooperation and rationality as well as their peacefulness. In the end, they wished the practitioners good luck.
On November 5, 2005, the Malaysian Falun Dafa Association hosted the "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" International Art Exhibition. Ms. Zhuo, organizer of the exhibit, said that the exhibit appealed to people's sense of kindness and conscience. During the exhibit, a woman took many photographs of paintings. Several of them shown below had a bright energy aura in front of a Falun depicted in the painting.

The exhibition includes paintings depicting the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China and the beauty of cultivation. Ms. Zhuo said, "We hope the public will learn about the facts of the persecution. The exhibit is a good way to get the information out. At the beginning, many Malaysians didn't know much about the persecution of Falun Gong and they thought the stories depicted by the paintings were from history. Many of them found it inconceivable that the Chinese regime is so rampantly violating human rights."

A lot of Malaysians were moved to tears upon seeing the paintings depicting the tragic facts. The paintings of Falun Gong children were particularly moving. One of them entitled, "Why" depicts a little boy locked in prison with his mother. After being beaten, the boy is holding back his tears asking, "Why? Why did the policemen beat my mom and me?" On several occasions, Ms. Zhuo said she couldn't hold back her tears when she introduced the painting to visitors.
At the exhibit entrance, two paintings depicting practitioners practicing Falun Gong were particularly eye-catching, and many people expressed the wish to learn Falun Gong upon seeing the paintings. Amazingly, even though there was no glass separation between the paintings and visitors (that is, nothing that could have produced a reflection), a Falun depicted in a painting showed a bright aura in some photos.

The exhibit was held during the first Asian Pacific Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference in Malaysia. On the afternoon of November 5, practitioners from different countries formed the Chinese characters, "Righteous Fa" and "Falun Dafa," the English characters, "Falun Dafa" and Malaysia characters, "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance." The experience sharing conference was held on November 6.
