On October 9, 2005, the Falun Dafa Association published an announcement on Minghui.org (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net) to urge Chinese officials at all levels who still assist the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to persecute Falun Gong, including staff members in Chinese Consulates and Embassies outside China, to immediately wake up, abandon the evil path and choose to be good.

Those who refuse to do the right thing and instead continue to follow Jiang's scoundrel regime's persecution policies will meet with due retribution as perpetrators of unforgivable crimes. Once they leave China, overseas Falun Gong practitioners will file civil or criminal lawsuits against all important government or CCP officials who participate in or continue to implement the persecution of Falun Gong and as a result, commit new crimes in addition to those they have already perpetrated against Falun Gong.

Practitioners in many countries around the world have read the "Falun Dafa Association Announcement" in front of Chinese Embassies and Consulates to urge the CCP officials to abandon the evil path and choose to be good.

Practitioners read the announcement in front of the China Liaison Office in Hong Kong

On the morning of Friday, October 14, 2005, a group of Falun Gong practitioners gathered on the street opposite the China Liaison Office in Hong Kong. They displayed posters to clarify the truth about Falun Gong and unfurled banners to call for an end to the persecution. In particular, they included the Falun Dafa Association announcement published on October 9 on their banners to sternly advise those government officials and public figures who have assisted the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to persecute Falun Gong practitioners to take this opportunity to forsake their evildoing. Practitioners urged them to immediately stop the persecution, so that they would not lose their bright future under Heaven's law that good and evil will receive due reward or retribution. The event drew attention from passers-by, and practitioners handed out flyers to them.

At about noon, several Falun Gong practitioners walked from the place where they held the sit-in appeal to the front gate of the China Liaison Office, and solemnly unfurled the banner imprinted with the Falun Dafa Association announcement. The announcement stated, "Ever since the publication of The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, Chinese people have more clearly recognized the nature of the CCP and the evil nature of the persecution. More than 4.8 million have withdrawn from the CCP and its related organizations. Heaven's destruction of the CCP is a historical inevitability. Gods must punish those criminals who have sinned against Falun Gong. Those who refuse to do the right thing and instead continue to follow Jiang's scoundrel regime's persecution policies will be severely punished as perpetrators of unforgivable crimes."

The announcement warned that overseas Falun Gong practitioners will file civil or criminal lawsuits against all government or Chinese Communist Party officials who participate in or continue to implement the persecution of Falun Gong once they leave China. In the meantime, the announcement also advised that those who have followed the CCP and committed wrongdoings still have the opportunity to abandon their evil path and choose to do good.

Falun Gong practitioners read the Announcement in front of the Chinese Embassy in Ireland and demand that Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing, and Zhou Yongkang be brought to justice.

On October 17, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners gathered outside the Chinese Embassy in Ireland and read the Falun Dafa Association Announcement. At the same time, they unfurled a banner that read, "Bring Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing, and Zhou Yongkang to Justice." Practitioners called upon those CCP officials and individuals who continue to participate in or assist the CCP to persecute Falun Gong, to wake up as soon as possible and stop the persecution.

Several Falun Gong practitioners read the announcement in Chinese and English, respectively. While suffering such brutal persecution, Falun Gong practitioners still treat those who participate in the persecution with their compassion. They advise those who persist in their evil ways and are ready to be scapegoats for the CCP and the chief perpetrator Jiang Zemin, that "justice has a long arm" and heaven's destruction of the CCP is a historical inevitability. Not so much time is left and they should stop their evildoings correct their mistakes as soon as possible. Only doing so could they have the opportunity to have a future.

Practitioners in Western Australia deliver "Falun Dafa Association Announcement" to Chinese Consulate

On October 18, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners from across Australia delivered on the same day the announcement issued by Falun Dafa Association on October 9, 2005 to the respective Chinese Embassies and Consulates in their areas. They hoped that those who had once participated in the persecution of Falun Gong could wake up from delusion, abandon the evil path and choose to be good, and leave themselves a future. The biggest newspaper in Western Australia, the Western Australian sent a professional photographer to capture this historic scene.

On the big envelope to the consul of the CCP in Western Australia, practitioners wrote two sentences: The abyss of misery is immense, yet the safe shore is just over there when you turn around. "Good will be rewarded and evil will reap retribution, has long been an unchangeable heavenly principle throughout the ages." At this historic moment when a tremendous change is taking place, people's thoughts will determine their future.

Practitioners in Japan read "Falun Dafa Association Announcement" in front of the Chinese Embassy

On October 17, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners in Japan read the Falun Dafa Association Announcement published on October 9, 2005 in front of the Chinese Embassy. They also unfolded banners reading, "Falun Gong is Great," "CCP, Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong" and "A News of Epoch-making Significance: Falun Dafa Association Announcement." The practitioners demanded that those who had once participated in the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong to immediately abandon the evil path, choose to be good, and stop the persecution.

At 11:00 a.m., practitioners gathered on the sidewalk opposite the Chinese Embassy despite the rain, unfolding banners that demanded an end to the persecution of Falun Gong. Japanese Falun Dafa Association representatives Lu Min and Sato Kunio read the Falun Dafa Association Announcement respectively in Chinese and Japanese, sternly warning those who had once participated in the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong to take the opportunity to abandon the evil path and choose to be good, and to immediately stop the persecution, so as to avoid ruining their beautiful future when the evil criminals are finally put on trial.

The nearly 60-year-old Professor Wang, who once taught at Qinghua University, also came to the Chinese Embassy. He said that since the CCP began the persecution of Falun Gong, Falun Gong practitioners have been clarifying the truth in front of the Chinese Embassy. She hoped that the embassy staff would follow the path pointed out in the announcement, make a wise choice and stop taking the evil path.

At noon on October 18, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners read the Falun Dafa Association Announcement in both Chinese and English in front of the Chinese Embassy. The announcement was published on October 9 and stated, "From today on, overseas Falun Gong practitioners will file civil or criminal lawsuits against all important government or CCP officials who participate in or continue to implement the persecution of Falun Gong and as a result, commit new crimes in addition to those they have already perpetrated against Falun Gong."

After reading the announcement, two practitioners pressed the doorbell to try to hand over the announcement to the Chinese Ambassador, but got no response. The practitioners wanted the staff in the embassy to know that heaven's destruction of the CCP is a historical inevitability and that those committing crimes against Falun Gong will definitely be brought to justice in the future.

Practitioners read Falun Dafa Association Announcement in front the Chinese Consulate in San Francisco to urge CCP officials to abandon the evil path and choose to be good.

On the afternoon of October 20, 2005, San Francisco Bay area practitioners gathered in front of the Chinese Consulate. One representative read the Falun Dafa Association Announcement aloud, and two practitioners then delivered the announcement to the consulate.

Practitioner Duan Li, a representative of the U.S. West Falun Dafa Association, said: "The statement has been delivered to Chinese embassies and consulates around the world by fax. The purpose for practitioners to do so is to warn those who are still assisting the Chinese Communist government to persecute Falun Gong including those who work in overseas Chinese Embassies and Consulates to immediately wake up and abandon the evil path and choose to be good."

Duan pointed out, "The CCP has committed unpardonable crimes and is doomed to destruction by gods in the near future. Out of our compassion, we once again warn those who have committed wrongdoings during the persecution to grasp this precious opportunity to choose to be good."

Practitioners from New South Wales read the Falun Dafa Association Announcement in English and Chinese, respectively.

On October 18, 2005, the New South Wales Falun Dafa Association held a press conference in front of the Chinese Consulate in Sydney to deliver the October 9 Falun Dafa Association announcement. Representatives read the announcement aloud in both Chinese and English, urging Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials who once participated in the persecution of practitioners to abandon the evil path and choose to be good. Those who refuse to do the right thing and instead continue to follow Jiang's scoundrel regime's persecution policies are bound to be severely punished as perpetrators of unforgivable crimes.

Practitioners Jon Deller and Mr. Wei read the announcement aloud in English and Chinese respectively. According to the announcement, "From today (October 9, 2005) on, overseas Falun Gong practitioners will file civil or criminal lawsuits against all important government or CCP officials who participate in or continue to implement the persecution of Falun Gong."

After they read the announcement, practitioner Deller and Rebecca went to the consulate to deliver the announcement. A receptionist first told them to wait while he called to report to consulate officials. About 15 minutes later, the receptionist said that no one would come out to accept the letter. Rebecca said that they would then fax or mail the announcement to the consulate.

Melbourne practitioners read the Falun Dafa Association Announcement to the Chinese Consulate

At 10 a.m., October 18, practitioners gathered in front of the Chinese Consulate in Melbourne. In both Chinese and English, they read the Falun Dafa Association announcement aloud to Chinese officials and visiting individuals.

The announcement also points out a bright path for those Chinese Communist officials who want to abandon the evil path: "The CCP regime is against the universe, and is about to collapse. It is now having difficulty sustaining the persecution. The final judgment of these evil criminals is imminent. However, one of the purposes of introducing Falun Dafa (also called Falun Gong) to the human society is to save people, including people in all social statuses. Even for those who have committed wrongdoings, there is still an opportunity for them to abandon the evil path and choose to be good. For all those who have committed crimes against Falun Gong but want now to correct their mistakes, they can submit, under safe circumstances, a guarantee announcement or regret letter to Minghui (Clearwisdom Net) or to any regional Falun Dafa Association to be archived. We will not investigate the various crimes of those who are determined to correct their mistakes. However, we will continue to monitor their actions."

In order to help people who work for the Chinese Consulate to realize the evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and abandon the evil path as soon as possible, French Falun Gong practitioners hung banners and displayed Falun Gong truth-clarification posters. The banners read, "Falun Gong, Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance", and "Rescue Falun Gong Orphans". They also read together in both Chinese and French the Falun Dafa Association announcement. Many people who passed by and those who went to the Chinese Consulate to get visas or renew passports stopped to carefully listen. The truth-clarification posters and display boards that introduce the children victims in the persecution of Falun Gong drew many people's attention, who came over and asked for more information.

When the event was about to conclude, a western Falun Gong practitioner put a copy of the Falun Dafa Association announcement into the Chinese Consulate's mail box and sincerely wished that those Consulate staff members would be able to read the announcement.

On October 18, 2005 some Falun Gong practitioners from South East Queensland gathered in front of the building where the new Chinese Consulate is located. They read out the "Falun Dafa Association Announcement" warning CCP officials to stop persecuting Falun Gong.

Soon after a practitioner started to read the announcement, a spurt of water [most likely from a fire hose] poured down from the roof of the building directly onto the practitioners and their display boards. The practitioners were not distracted by such harassment and continued to read the announcement.

Some passers-by across the road witnessed the incident. They showed great admiration of the demeanor and dignity demonstrated by Falun Gong practitioners and they were totally disgusted with the base conduct of the Chinese diplomats. People could not help commenting along the following lines: Chinese diplomats, don't you feel ashamed of your childish and ridiculous conduct? You must understand that you are in a democratic country and all citizens here have the right to express their opinions and to appeal. Australia is not under the CCP dictatorship, and your conduct has already violated the civil rights of Australian citizens. The Australian government takes this matter very seriously and the police are also in the process of further investigation about the incident.

Falun Gong practitioners delivered the Falun Dafa Association Announcement to the Chinese Consulate.

At 11:00 a.m. on October 21, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners in Los Angeles gathered in front of the Chinese Consulate to read the Falun Dafa Association Announcement published on October 9, 2005 in both Chinese and English. Practitioners then delivered the announcement to the consulate.

After the announcement was read, three representatives of Falun Gong practitioners delivered it to the counter of the consulate. The desk clerk refused to accept the letter, giving various excuses. Practitioners expressed that the delivery of letter is for their own benefit, and hoped that they would take the opportunity to learn about its contents or read the Falun Dafa Association Announcement on the internet. The practitioners left the letter on the counter before leaving. It was also reported that Falun Gong practitioners have faxed the announcement to Chinese consulates in different areas.

On October 24, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners in Thailand came to the Chinese Embassy to deliver a "Falun Dafa Association Announcement" that was published on October 9, 2005. The announcement warned those persons who joined the persecution of Falun Gong to stop the persecution, abandon the evil path, and choose to be good, to ensure a future free from punishment for their crimes.

The practitioners from Thailand read the announcement in front of the Embassy. The Announcement said:

"The persecution of persons based solely on their practice of the principles of "Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance" is unconscionable. At the beginning of this persecution, many high-ranking officials in the government and the CCP disagreed with Jiang's policy of persecution, or dealt with the persecution passively. Some even resisted. Many high-ranking officials also practiced Falun Gong. During the past six years, through peaceful resistance and a courageous degree of endurance, Falun Gong practitioners have clarified the truth to the people the world over. People who were previously deceived have awakened or are in the process of learning the facts. As a result, they have refused to join the persecution."

"Ever since the publication of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, Chinese people have more clearly recognized the nature of the CCP and the evil nature of the persecution. More than 5 million have withdrawn from the CCP and its related organizations on the Internet. Heaven's destruction of the CCP is a historical inevitability. Gods must punish those criminals who have sinned against Falun Gong. Practitioners in Malaysia read Falun Dafa Association Announcement in English and Chinese in front of the Chinese Embassy.

At 10:00 a.m. on October 24, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners in Malaysia gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia to read the "Falun Dafa Association Announcement" so as to sternly warn perpetrators who follow the CCP to immediately stop participating in the persecution.

While the announcement was being read, two embassy cars drove out of the embassy, and embassy staff in one car stopped the car and looked at practitioners' reading the announcement.

After finishing reading the announcement, the practitioners delivered it to the embassy, but the staff refused to accept it. Finally, the practitioners decided to deliver the announcement by fax and express delivery.

Practitioners in Houston read Falun Dafa Association Announcement in front of the Chinese Consulate and call on Chinese officials to correct their mistakes

At noon on October 21, 2005, practitioners in Houston gathered in front of the Chinese Consulate and read the Falun Dafa Association Announcement of October 9 in both Chinese and English. They called on Chinese officials involved in persecution of Falun Gong to stop committing new crimes and correct their mistakes.

Practitioners said that since the publication of the "Nine Commentaries on Communist Party", more and more people have come to know the evil nature of Chinese Communist Party (CCP). So far more than 5 million Chinese people have withdrawn from the CCP and its related organizations. The collapse of the CCP is inevitable. Under this situation, anyone who continues to follow the Jiang faction's persecution policy will be held responsible and brought to justice.

Practitioners said that the announcement has been faxed to all Chinese embassies and consulates around the world. Practitioners hope that the CCP officials committing wrongdoings will take advantage of the opportunity to stop participating in the persecution and correct their mistakes.

Read the Falun Dafa Association Announcement in front of the Chinese Consulate in Korea

On October 24, Korean practitioners in different areas went to the Chinese Embassy and local consulates to deliver the Falun Dafa Association statement that was first published on October 9.

In front of Chinese embassy, a practitioner first gave a background introduction of the statement. He said, "From July 20, 1999, dictator Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist Party banned Falun Gong and started a most brutal persecution. In the past 6 years, tens of millions of practitioners have been interrogated. Hundreds of thousands have been sent to forced labor camps without trials. Several thousand practitioners have lost their lives because of the persecution. The exact number of practitioners who have been sent to mental hospitals for persecution remains unknown."

After representatives of the Korean Falun Dafa Association delivered the statement to the Chinese Embassy, practitioners then went to a nearby Chinese Consulate to hold a similar event and deliver the statement. It turned out that many Chinese people lined up in front of the Chinese Consulate to handle their consular paper work. They witnessed the entire event. Some Chinese people carefully read the announcement imprinted on the banner and expressed their attention.

On the same day, practitioners in South Korea also gathered at the Chinese Consulate in Busan to read the statement. A copy of the statement was also delivered to the consulate.

Practitioners in New York City read the announcement in front of the Chinese Consulate

At around noontime on October 27, dozens of practitioners in the Greater New York area gathered at the Chinese Consulate to read the Falun Dafa Association statement urging all officials to stop the persecution, abandon the evil path and choose to be good.

The announcement kindly pointed out: One of the purposes of introducing Falun Dafa (also called Falun Gong) to the human society is to save people, including people in all social statuses. Even for those who have committed wrongdoings, there is still an opportunity for them to abandon the evil path and choose to be good. For all those who have committed crimes against Falun Gong but want now to correct their mistakes, they can submit, under safe circumstances, a guarantee statement or regret letter to Minghui (Clearwisdom Net) or to any regional Falun Dafa Association to be archived. A series of activities was held in three Slovak cities: Kosice, Presov and Zilina, to help the Slovak people to learn more about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. The events were held from October 20th to the 22nd. During those three short days, we practitioners could feel the openness of the people and their sympathy for the suffering of others.

Signing petition against the persecution

In Kosice, a reporter from a local weekly magazine visited us and told us that he would publish a picture of the gathering together with a short article. In Presov more members of the media arrived, including the daily magazine 24 Hours and a reporter from the East Slovak press agency SITA. The local TV station also came and interviewed several practitioners. The reporter from the TV station was moved and immediately signed our petition against the persecution.

On Saturday, we were welcomed in Zilina by nice weather. Many people stopped by and many of them without further questions approached the petition in order to sign it. Upon being asked whether they knew what they were signing, they said that they already heard about it from the media and that they are against the persecution in China.

A queue of people frequently formed, waiting to sign our petition. During the three days we gathered approximately six hundred signatures. This petition will join with others we collected previously this year and will be passed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Human Rights, so that during official state visits of Chinese delegations to Slovakia, and Slovak delegations to China, our public officials will know how the public feels and may bring due attention to the question of human rights.

On October 22nd 2005, the first six-month-long tour of Paris to promote Falun Gong came to the last stop, Sevres Babylone, a subway station located on the intersection of Rue de Sevres and Rue de Babylone, in the south west of Paris.

Distributing Falun Gong truth-clarification leaflets

French practitioners hung up banners reading "Call on the CCP to stop the persecution of Falun Gong". Attracted to the traditional-style Chinese music specially composed by practitioners, people took away leaflets and signed their names in opposition to the persecution. For people living in democratic countries, it's very difficult for them to understand why the Chinese Communist Party would commit such inhuman atrocities.

Signing a petition calling for an immediate end to the persecution

One man asked, "What do you think about the Chinese Communist Party?" A practitioner answered him, "It's the CCP that persecutes Falun Gong." He immediately took a pen to sign his name on the petition sheet and said, "I object to Communism. I support you!"

Many people wanted to learn more details about the truth of the persecution. A member of an NGO came by. He asked lots of questions and talked to practitioners for a long time. In the beginning he didn't know anything about Falun Gong at all, but after talking with practitioners he became aware of some details of the persecution and its background. In the end, he said that he was very happy to have the opportunity to learn about the facts and signed the petition against the persecution.

A plain-clothes police officer in charge of security for our activity had talked at length with practitioners previously. Offering his understanding and support for our campaign, he frequently came over and chatted with us.

The project to tour Paris and let the French people know about Falun Gong and the persecution began in April, 2005. It was organized by French practitioners who spent their holidays to let people in twenty regions of Paris know the truth. Many people have learned about the persecution this way and French practitioners will make every effort to launch further campaigns to let all people in France have a chance to learn about this brutal persecution in China..

From October 17 to 23, 2005, the fourth Seoul "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" International Art Exhibition" was held at the Mapo-gu Culture and Physical Education Center.

More than 50 art works were exhibited. The first section, "The beauty of self-cultivation", exhibits the beauty of cultivation practice.

The second section, "Uncompromising courage" exposes the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutal persecution of Falun Gong and the uncompromising courage that practitioners have displayed when confronting the suppression.

The third section, "A call for justice" depicts the solemn scene of practitioners bravely clarifying the truth while under tremendous pressure from the CCP. The fourth section, "Justice prevails" shows the heaven's law of cause and effect and that justice will prevail.

An education department director from Seoul led a group to visit the exhibition. He wrote the following comments in the guest book after viewing the paintings, "In today's society, there are still such mean and ruthless human rights violations! People really don't know that the CCP is so inhuman and merciless." He gave his encouragement to the exhibition volunteers.

Initially, some visitors could not understand the paintings. After they listened to the guides' explanations, their kind hearts were inspired and they changed their thoughts. The practitioners expressed that they wish Falun Gong and "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance" would be deeply rooted in all visitors' hearts.

On the 15th and 16th of October, Falun Gong practitioners participated in the Spirit and Knowledge Expo held annually in Helsinki. Over the two days, practitioners introduced Falun Gong and exposed the persecution to the Finnish people. They demonstrated the exercises and distributed leaflets, as well as collecting signatures for the petition.

Practitioners have participated in the Expo five times over the last 5 years. Many people here have come to learn and understand the truth, and express their support for Falun Gong.

A great number of people came to our stall this year. They happily took leaflets, stopped and watched the exercise demonstration, and many others came simply to sign the petition and express support. Others came to obtain books and videos of the exercise instructions.

Having accepted a leaflet, a man from Norway asked practitioners for more information about Falun Gong. A practitioner told him: "Falun Gong practitioners now are still being persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party. More than 2700 Falun Gong practitioners have been persecuted to death. Ten thousands of Falun Gong practitioners are still locked up in prisons and forced labor camps and are being persecuted. In contrast, Falun Gong has been is practiced in seventy-eight countries worldwide." After hearing all this, he said, "I have seen people practicing Falun Gong in Norway." He also asked for more leaflets for his Finnish girlfriend.

A vendor near our stall liked the music very much and said: "The music sounds really beautiful." Many people asked us where exercise sites were located. Seeing a western practitioner demonstrating the exercises, a lady started learning on the spot.

Falun Gong practitioners gathered at "Grosse Strasse," a street in Osnabrück, to raise awareness about the human rights violations against Falun Gong practitioners in China. They came from from the cities of Bremen, Hannover, Bielefeld, Münster, Gütersloh, Braunschweig, Bramsche and Göttingen, on Saturday October 22^nd.

An information booth was set up in front of the shopping centre. It was a great spot because it was close to an intersection within the pedestrian shopping area. Many people came from different directions in the city and could see us very well.

All day long, the street was very busy. Many interested people came to our booth and asked many questions. Several interesting conversations were generated between practitioners and the public.

1. A little girl sat in front of the information booth all by herself and curiously watched everything. Her mother stood a little distance away and was watching her. One practitioner talked to the girl and explained to her why people in China are being persecuted.

2. Another practitioner had seen a six-year-old girl start to cry after she had looked at the displays. Unlike behaviour usually seen in children, her crying was not loud, but rather quiet and private, with her tears silently running down her face. The practitioner approached the girl and explained to her about "Truth, Compassion and Tolerance." Later, the girl's mother returned and told us that she would explain everything to her daughter again once they got home.

3. A middle-aged, deaf-mute lady nervously came to our stall and tried to repeatedly say, "Why is this happening? They are so peaceful." She was talking about Falun Gong practitioners. Since she could not understand us very well, she took a lot of printed material.

In the evening, when we had already started to take everything down, a woman came by on her bike. In passing, she asked what we had been doing. A practitioner called out, "Collecting signatures". She stopped her bike and signed the petition.

Many children came with their parents and asked us questions. The parents did not complain when their children were looking at the anti-torture exhibition and posters. Rather, they took the time to explain to their children: "This is what's happening in China right now. They put up this booth to explain to people what's going on, that it is evil and that it has to be stopped."

Before this exhibition, one practitioner had doubts about the torture exhibits. She thought that it might result in negative opinions about Falun Gong. However, by the end of the day, she had completely changed her mind.
