On the morning of October 27, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners in Jakarta read the announcement published by the Falun Dafa Association on October 9, 2005, in front of the Chinese Embassy, and then delivered it to the embassy.

Two practitioners read in turn the Falun Dafa Association Announcement in Chinese and Indonesian. Other practitioners unfolded large banners reading, "Stop the Genocidal Persecution Against Chinese Falun Gong practitioners," "Falun Dafa is good," and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." They also displayed photos depicting Falun Gong's wide spread around the world and Falun Gong practitioners who have died as a result of the persecution. Some practitioners demonstrated the exercises. The practitioners' activities attracted attention from passersby.

After the announcement was read, representatives of practitioners went to the front of the Chinese Embassy in hopes of handing the announcement in person to the embassy officers, but several police guards came out to receive the practitioners and transferred the document.

People watch the exhibition and learn the truth

An exhibition of photos showing how practitioners have appealed for and clarified the truth about Falun Gong around the world was held in Parnel, a place near Auckland, New Zealand. A woman touring the exhibition listened carefully to the stories behind each picture and how practitioners in China remain steadfast in their belief in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" while resisting the Communist Party's six year-long persecution. She said, "Who gave them the right to persecute those good people? The Communist Party? If so, it should step down immediately. I support your efforts to bring them to justice in the courts."

At around noon, a tour bus arrived at a restaurant near the exhibition. It carried a group of about nine tourists from Northern China. The practitioners approached them to clarify the truth about the persecution. They asked them to remember, "Falun Dafa is good" and hoped they would tell their relatives and friends in China. One tourist asked, "Can I take these materials back to China?" The practitioner told him that if he wanted, he certainly could. The tourist quietly accepted the materials.

On October 31, the photo exhibition moved to Northcole shopping center in the north of Auckland. There are many Chinese living in that area. Shortly after the practitioners set up the display boards, a woman from Guangzhou City who is visiting family here told a practitioner, "This is my first time to see such a good photo exhibition. In China, we all know it is hard to be a good person. Even if you are, no one would praise you. I felt like I was locked in an urn and didn't see the beautiful world outside. What I see here really opened my mind." She said she had read the book Zhuan Falun and "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party." A practitioner asked her to remember, "Falun Dafa is good." The lady said, "Thank you very much for your reminder. I understand. I know what to do now."

A two or three year-old boy didn't want his mother to leave. He dragged her to the photo exhibition. The mother wanted to carry him away in her arms but he didn't want to leave. A practitioner handed them a flyer about Falun Gong. After that, the boy left happily with his mother.

A woman saw a photo of little practitioners presenting flowers to Master Li. She said to herself, "Very good, beautiful, beautiful!"
