After watching the video "Rescue the Falun Gong Orphans," many youngsters in a summer camp in Huddersfield couldn't help crying. Deeply moved, the principal said: "I cry every time I see the video. I am going to copy your petition and give it to every pupil and his or her parents, and ask them to help rescue these innocent children together."

A teacher, moved by the video, came over and said to us, "I have never heard about all this before and I am going to read your leaflets carefully."

A small boy from a distance spoke out excitedly: "I signed your petition, I signed your petition!"

The children greeted us with respect, including those who seemed distant at first. Many children came to the grassy area where we were demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises and learned the exercises from us. They expressed their indignation towards the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP's) persecution.

Upon seeing their faces, I couldn't help but think of the children in China, who have been deprived of their right to know the facts about Falun Gong and are deceived by lies told in public by the CCP-controlled media propaganda. That's why they are hostile to Falun Gong almost automatically.

In the meantime, those poor children whose parents are being persecuted in China are under great pressure from society and their schools. I can give many examples: a well-known, young artist has been forced to do hard labor for three years, leaving his unemployed wife and his son behind, depending on each other and on their depleted savings; a principal of a foreign enterprise, with a Master's degree, was previously detained illegally for over three years and has now been unlawfully sentenced to more than ten years; his wife has also been forced to do hard labor for two years, and their child is living with his grandfather and paralyzed grandmother on a small pension.

Another practitioner who teaches psychology has been illegally sentenced to more than ten years. His child just started school not long ago. Still another engineer with a Master's degree was illegally sentenced to over ten years and forced to leave his newborn baby. However, none of these stories are allowed to be known by the people in China. The media, supervised and controlled by the CCP, are only allowed to broadcast the propaganda of hatred towards Falun Gong.

I am fortunate enough to be here in the UK studying, after two years of forced hard labor in China. Since then, I have been freely practicing Falun Gong in this democratic country; but it has been three years since my five-year-old daughter has seen her father. In the past three years, I don't know how many times she and her mom have cried together.

Whose children aren't loved by their parents? But in China, Falun Gong practitioners' children are forced to go through so much under the inhuman and cruel persecution; countless families are forced to break up and so many kind and good people are being illegally detained and cruelly tortured. What has been exposed and verified is just the tip of the iceberg. More than 2,700 Falun Gong practitioners have been persecuted to death and more than two hundred and fifty children have become orphans.

For over six years, the wicked Chinese Communist Party has been using the entire state apparatus to spread propaganda and hatred to brainwash the whole country. Although its crimes have become more and more concealed and things seem to be "quiet" on the surface, as soon as the party's viciousness is exposed to the world, the CCP will surely be cast aside by all people with a sense of justice and kindness.

From August 13 to August 16, Falun Gong practitioners from various places in Spain gathered in Barcelona to hold four days of activities including group study of Falun Gong's principles, sharing and exchange of understandings, and exposing the persecution.

On August 13, practitioners came to Barcelona one after another. Ignoring their fatigue due to long-distance travel, some practitioners went directly to the activity site after getting off the plane. Some coming from Madrid and Malaga drove directly without a break to the famous La Rambla in Barcelona. After an over seven-hour drive, they joined fellow practitioners in holding an anti-persecution photo exhibition and signature collection activity in the afternoon.

In La Rambla, crowds of people gathered. Stopping in front of the photos of the persecution, the passers-by were shocked. They could not believe what they saw, and some had tears in their faces. People could not believe that such bloody, cruel genocide is happening in China. People could not even imagine how a government could be so cruel to its people. People gave their support by signing their names to end this persecution as soon as possible. They gathered in front of the signature-collection desk and signed their names without hesitation.

Those shocked by the persecution condemned the Chinese Communist Party's atrocities and signed their names to support Falun Gong.

In front of the long signature collection table were lines of people awaiting to sign their names. People are eager to understand the truth and hope to end the persecution together. Seeing the touching scene, practitioner cannot help but think - the stronger the power of justice, the harder it will be for the evil persecution to be sustained.

During the activity, a member of the "Free Tibet" organisation signed his name and told our fellow practitioners, "Do you know that we just submitted a file to the Spanish National Hall of Justice to sue Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist Party for genocide and cruel torture they committed against the people of Tibet? In China, where people are ruled singly by the Chinese Communist Party, people have no human rights or freedom, whether it's people in Tibet, the Buddhists, those with a belief in Taoism or in Christianity, or Falun Gong practitioners. Anyone who has a different point of view from the Chinese Communist Party is persecuted." "I believe that the day for them to step down (the Communist Party) is soon to come. What they have committed will eventually be made public. In the near future, those guilty people will be brought to trial by the whole world."

When signing her name, a lady from Eastern Europe said to a practitioner, "I know the evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party very well. Its nature is bloody and cruel. I am not surprised to see the crimes it has committed in China. Only by quitting the Chinese Communist Party can people truly live a good life. It is something I've experienced personally." In the end, she wished the practitioners good luck. A tourist from Germany said, "I had already signed my name for Falun Gong in Germany. However, I'd like to sign again with the hope of helping to end this unjust persecution as soon as possible."

On August 15th, some Spanish Falun Gong practitioners went to the Chinese Consulate in Barcelona to peacefully protest against the Chinese Communist Party's six-year persecution of Falun Gong. Over here, practitioners in Barcelona have persisted in telling those coming to the Chinese Consulate about Falun Gong being persecuted in China. Through their continuous efforts over the past two years, the attitude of the Chinese people toward Falun Gong has changed dramatically. In contrast to the very beginning when people were not willing to or didn't dare to take leaflets, or when some even shouted at us loudly, a great number of people nowadays voluntarily ask for fliers and express their thanks to practitioners.

Though the western Falun Gong practitioners present do not speak Chinese, the letters they printed to encourage people to be good, taped messages they broadcast in Chinese, and their persevering belief and pure hearts deeply touched the Chinese people. The evil lies told by the Chinese Communist Party are no longer effective. Instead, they are coming to a good understanding of Falun Gong and gaining respect for Falun Gong practitioners.

At the same time, practitioners also hope that those working in the Chinese Consulate understand the truth, give up the evil, and do not continue to be pawns for the Chinese Communist Party to persecute good people anymore.

In front of the Chinese Consulate, a couple was hurrying on their way to attend a friend's party with their two children. They saw Falun Gong practitioners peacefully presenting a petition when passing through the Chinese Consulate. They carefully looked at photos exposing the Chinese Communist Party's cruel persecution against its own citizens. They were extremely shocked. After stopping to further ask Falun Gong practitioners about more facts, one of them said to the practitioners, "Thanks for helping us understand so much that we have never heard before. I used to think differently. Today is a major turning point in my life because I know about truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance."

During the four-day activity, the practitioners studied Zhuan Falun, the main text of Falun Gong, and shared their experiences. Practitioners also discussed the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party". Practitioners believe that the "Nine Commentaries" exposes the evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). In particular, it can help Mainland Chinese people who have been deeply poisoned and brainwashed by CCP's deceit to clearly see through the CCP's nature, so as to break away from the CCP. The "Nine Commentaries" will also help people to comprehensively learn about the facts of the persecution that Falun Gong practitioners have encountered in China.

Dresden is the capital of Sachsen, Germany. On August 20th and 21st, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners at Dresden were invited again to participate in the Dresden City Festival.

People stopped to learn about Falun Gong and the persecution in China

During the two days, the Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the five Falun Gong exercises. Some distributed leaflets to passers-by, and some wrote greeting cards for the locals. Surrounding the stand there were items such as banners advertising the free teaching of the Falun Gong exercises and hand-made paper lotus flowers.

Lots of German people stopped to take in the essence of ancient Chinese culture. Some took photos or filmed the demonstration of Falun Gong exercises and some carefully examined the display boards about the cruel persecution against Falun Gong. Some of them were shocked by such a peaceful practice being cruelly persecuted in China, and they did not understand why, so they exchanged opinions with fellow practitioners who distributed leaflets. They took fliers with them and signed their names to appeal for the release of Falun Gong practitioner Jiang Renzheng, who was sent to the forced labour camp after leaving Germany for China. They also gave their good wishes to Falun Gong and Falun Gong practitioners. Some stood in lines in front of the stand to read Falun Gong information and to wait for cards inscribed with the words Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.

Some passers-by from China also came to our stand. In the very beginning, they were extremely surprised, and had no idea about Falun Gong being widely spread and being severely persecuted in China. They found it hard to believe. After the practitioners' patient explanation, they took with them materials in Chinese and said that they would find out more about Falun Gong once they had the opportunity.

At the same time, a great number of kind German citizens learned the facts about Falun Gong being cruelly persecuted in China during these two days. Some said that they would like to learn the exercises, and we were very happy to invite them to join our weekly group exercise of Falun Gong.

On a weekend in mid-August, some Russian practitioners drove to Pskov City to introduce Falun Gong and expose the persecution, and the local people welcomed them.

Pskov City is the capital of Pskov on the western border of Russia. It has a history of nearly one thousand years and is one of the most famous ancient cities in Russia. The goal of the practitioners' trip was to help the residents learn about Falun Gong.

For various reasons, especially pressure from Chinese Communist Party's overseas agencies, it is typically very difficult for practitioners in Russia to get a permit to hold an event. Here, after several efforts of truth clarification, which dissipated local officials' concerns and misunderstanding based on the CCP's propaganda, practitioners got a permit for this event.

On Saturday, August 13, we held an activity for five hours at a square in the city's center near the Kremlin, an ancient palace in Pskov. Practitioners set up display boards, including photos with the themes "Falun Gong has spread all over the world", "Pictures of cruel torture," and so on. Practitioners divided into several groups: Some practitioners explained the pictures to the passersby in front of the boards, some taught people how to fold paper Lotus Flowers and told them the symbolic meaning of the flowers, some demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and others distributed materials in places near the square such as the station and market.

From the beginning of the activity to the end, there were a lot of people passing by, because the square is in the center of the city and people have to go through it when going to the biggest local market. Many people thus learned about Falun Gong. Some learned the exercises on the spot, some got further information about Falun Gong and asked where they could buy Falun Gong books, and some were very concerned about the situation of Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted in China and asked how they could help. People were touched by the peaceful demeanor of the Falun Gong practitioners. They said that there are usually many activities held by various groups in the square, but they had never met such a group of kind, serene people, who sincerely shared their thoughts with others.

One gentleman stayed at the site for a long time. When he was leaving, he insisted on giving the practitioners some fruit he had collected in the wild. A woman said, "I dreamt that I had a lotus flower above my head last night. Today I see that the lotus flower I dreamed of is here." The policeman who was on duty had a cold and wary expression when the activity started, but at the end, he smiled at us and said that he understood that Falun Gong was a very good practice. Two local newspapers reported on the activity.

After the activity finished and on the following day, the practitioners talked to people and distributed leaflets to some other places in the city and suburbs.

On August 31, 2005, Malaysia celebrated its 48^th National Day. To help local people understand the ongoing Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s brutal persecution of Falun Gong and call for an end to the persecution, Falun Gong practitioners applied for a permit to have a "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition" in Taman Rakyat Park, Klang City, Selangor State, where crowds of people visit daily. The Klang city government approved the application after learning the facts, and the art exhibition was held successfully. Many local people came to know about Falun Gong and signed their names to support the effort to oppose the persecution.

The exhibition was divided into two periods: 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Dozens of paintings were set up in the central area of the park. Practitioners demonstrated the exercises and set up a table to collect signatures. They also offered free teaching of the practice.

Many local people came to visit the art exhibition and learn Falun Gong. When they heard about the CCP's ongoing persecution of Falun Gong, many were astounded. After learning the facts, many people signed their names to call for an end of the persecution. Many people also wanted to learn Falun Gong.

A Malaysian citizen said that he regretted that only after viewing the paintings did he learn about the persecution. He was moved after he learned that facing the persecution for 6 years, practitioners kept clarifying the truth peacefully. He hoped that more such activities would be held to help more people find out the facts about Falun Gong.

A Chinese visitor expressed admiration for the practitioners' spirit of taking hardship lightly. A practitioner said that living in a good environment, it's hard for someone to imagine the cruelty of the persecution. Everyone should do their best and help to rescue the practitioners being persecuted in China.
