Respected Thai Government,
Thailand is a virtuous nation, people all revere Buddha, and believe the relationship that good will be rewarded with good and evil will meet with due retribution.
Since July 20, 1999, when Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan's group took advantage of the power in their hands, and mobilized the whole nation's machinery (in mainland China) to initiate a full-scale persecution against Falun Gong, over the past six years, several hundred thousand people have been detained and sentenced to forced labor without trials, and more than 3,000 practitioners have died as a result of persecution. Countless people have been tortured to be wounded and disabled. In face of this brutal persecution, Falun Gong practitioners have not been beaten down. Instead, we have firmly come through. Falun Gong has flourished around the world and been well-received in nearly 80 countries, and more and more people have started practicing Falun Gong. Jiang Zemin's goal to "eliminate Falun Gong in three months" at the initial stage of persecution has long become an impossible dream. They also have seen the end awaiting them, therefore, they have become even more rampant and ferocious in the persecution.
A violent incident recently occurred in Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province. A depraved policeman raped two Falun Gong practitioners in broad daylight. The practitioners are old enough to be his mother. We went to the Chinese embassy in Thailand to peacefully protest and condemn this act of violence, to ask that the rapist He Xuejian be brought to justice, and to call for an immediate end to the persecution of Falun Gong. This is a righteous and kind act. Every kind-hearted person would understand and support it. But the Thai police department was directed by the Chinese embassy to arrest us. We came from China and are United Nations refugees. The police who participated in this act of violence showed their deep sympathy after having learned about the inhuman persecution happening in China. They repeatedly expressed that they had not wanted to arrest us, but had to do so because of pressure from higher authorities. This incident has assisted the evil Chinese authorities to do even more evil deeds. This is totally against Buddha Sakyamuni's principle of advising people to do good. It is a heavenly principle that good will be rewarded and evil will meet retribution. We hope the Thai government will be cautious!
Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan's group has been persecuting Falun Gong for six years, and the majority of countries and people in the world have clearly recognized the persecution and made efforts to end the persecution. Jiang and Luo and others in the group have been sued in many countries for crimes against humanity and genocide. The end that awaits them is can now be foreseen. This is righteous strength in the world. Righteousness will eventually triumph over evil. This is also a heavenly principle. For the long-term benefits of Thailand and Thai people's happiness and safety, we hope the Thai government will walk its own path righteously, and side with righteousness and conscience. We write this open letter to the Thai government. We sincerely hope that Thailand and the people understand Falun Gong, see clearly the Chinese Communist Party's evil nature, and that they not follow it to persecute human rights and cultivators, but join together with countries around the world to stop the persecution. Falun Gong will definitely bring wonderfulness in future to the Thai people.
Best regards,

On December 31, 2005, practitioners held a candlelight vigil in front of the Chinese Embassy in Canberra to protest the Chinese Communist Party's brutal persecution of Falun Gong. The practitioners read out their statement and called on the embassy officials to stop persecuting Falun Gong and to resign from the CCP.
Practitioners in Australia hold a candlelight vigil and protest the
CCP's
persecution against Falun Gong
The statement said, "It is the last night of 2005. During this past year, Falun Gong practitioners in China were still subjected to inhuman persecution. Tomorrow will be the first day of 2006. We will continue to explain the facts to the public and to protest peacefully until the persecution ends. Practitioners all over the world have continued to hold peaceful protests without letup for more than six years, which has enabled more and more Chinese to learn the facts and awaken their consciences. The Epoch Times published the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party in November 2004, and numerous Chinese people have consequently learned about the CCP's evil nature and have issued statements of resignation."
The statement also mentioned that Chen Yonglin, former Chinese diplomat; Hao Fengjun, former official of Tianjin City's 610 Office; Han Guangsheng, former director of Shenyang Judicial Bureau; and Gao Zhisheng, renowned human rights lawyer, all renounced the CCP after learning about the CCP's evil nature and its crimes in the brutal persecution of Falun Gong.
The statement further pointed out, "The great tide of resignations from the CCP is irreversible. The total of documented withdrawals is near seven million. The demise of the CCP is inevitable. We wish you to recognize this fact and not to assist the CCP to commit further wrongdoing. The World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) will investigate thoroughly the related departments, organizations, and persons involved in the persecution, regardless of how long it takes. For the good of yourself and your family, don't participate in the persecution. Otherwise, you will be brought to justice for whatever wrongdoings you commit."
Finally, the practitioners called on the embassy staff to, "Renounce
the
evil CCP."

Falun Gong practitioners in Sandnes and Stavanger hosted the "Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance" International Art Exhibition at Sandnes Kulturhus (a public building which houses a collection of different kinds of art) on December 16th. It was a unique opportunity to expose the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China
Rolf Atle Kristoffersen from the local Amnesty International committee gave a speech at the opening of the exhibition, in which he pointed out examples of the abusive treatment of Falun Gong practitioners. He also expressed that an art exhibition like this is a great way to draw attention to the human rights violations in China. Mr. Kristoffersen also said that China is of high priority for Amnesty's work and that they use a lot of resources to help out the situation there.
The exhibition shows paintings that express Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance during terror, pain and suffering. The paintings are the work of Falun Gong practitioners and the exhibition was initiated by a professor of art, Zhang Kunlun, who was tortured in Chinese forced labor camps. He was set free after pressure from the Canadian government and Amnesty International and now, together with the other artists, uses art to expose the violence towards Falun Gong in China.
Sandnes Kulturhus was happy to lend us the foyer of the public library. The space was light and airy and has about 30,000 visitors every month. Some of these passed the exhibition as they hastened by to the public library. They were all handed a flyer and at the same time glanced at a painting or two. Others took their time and were guided through the exhibition by Falun Gong practitioners telling them about the artist's thoughts about the paintings and the stories behind the work. Most of the visitors thought the paintings were both strong and powerful, and they saw the beauty in the strong expressions.
Visitors were shocked by the persecution happening in China. The practitioners also had a dialogue with many young people. They are very up to date. They knew about the persecution and responded that it's great that we were exposing the torture.
This week the exhibition was visited by two secondary school classes. They had just visited China and learned much about the country and are now working on a project about China.
In a corner of the display area people got the opportunity to make paper lotus flowers. It was quite popular, especially among the young. Sometimes both young and old gathered on the floor making beautiful lotus flowers in different colors. If the practitioners had the time, they sat down with the children and told them about the lotus flower, which in Chinese tradition symbolizes purity. The lotus flower grows in mud, yet blossoms as a beautiful and pure flower. The practitioners told older children about the persecution and torture in China. It was a good way to inform them of the persecution and the truth about Falun Gong.
