On Dec. 13, 2006, Hong Kong Falun Gong practitioners marched in the rain to the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government and the Government Headquarter to protest the police using force to remove peacefully protesting Falun Gong practitioners during the visit of Wu Bangguo, Chairman of Chinese Communist Party (CCP) National People's Congress. They called for all levels of the Hong Kong government to see clearly the evil nature of the CCP, cast off fear of the CCP, uphold justice and conscience, safeguard human right and law, and not to assist the CCP in its crimes.

Falun Gong practitioners gathered in Standard Garden at 3pm, marched to the government headquarters and read aloud an open letter to condemn the Hong Kong government for yielding to CCP pressure and using force to remove Falun Gong practitioners who were peacefully and legally protesting in front of the Liaison Office on Dec. 3.
The visiting delegation included Wang Xudong, Minister of Information Industry and a key criminal in the persecution of Falun Gong. Practitioners requested police permission to show three banners in front of the Liaison Office calling for an end to the persecution. Under the pressure of the CCP, the Hong Kong police didn't help Falun Gong practitioners with their right to peaceful protest, and instead drove the protesters away and finally sent a large group of police to clear the site. Under the excuse of security, the police seized the practitioners, pulled, dragged and drove them from the back door of the Liaison Office. They refused practitioners' request to unfurl only one banner next to the front door.
The open letter said, "Between the CCP delegation with a chief persecution criminal and peaceful protesters pursuing Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance, the Hong Kong government and police yielded to the power, completely gave up the principle of justice and conscience and acted as assistants to the evil party. They have chosen to write a pitiful and shameful page on their book of life...
"During the past seven years of CCP persecution of Falun Gong, many officials of the Hong Kong government have surely learned the persecution and the evil nature of the CCP. They don't agree with their colleagues' willful conduct. We are happy for those who have made the right choice between the good and the evil. However, we have to warn the government employees who still assisted the CCP. The days are numbered for those who fawn upon the powerful and assist with crime. They should think for their future. The CCP, heavily debts with its crimes, will be punished. The day the heavens destroy the CCP is close. A new era without the evil Communism will unfold. Every government and individual need to chose the right position for themselves at this critical moment."
After reading open letter and statement, Falun Gong practitioners delivered the letter, Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and "Dissolving the Party Culture" to the Hong Kong government to be given to Zeng Yinquan, Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
Earlier in the day, practitioners marched from the police
office in the west district to the Liaison Office to read a statement
protesting the Liaison Office for continuously assisting the CCP with
the persecution of Falun Gong. They called for the employees of the
Liaison Office to withdraw from the CCP.
On December 10, 2006, World Human Rights Day, Amnesty International and nine other organizations held a peaceful protest entitled "We Remember" in front of the Chinese Consulate in Toronto. The protest aimed to commemorate the 80 million Chinese killed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and speak out for human rights for 1.3 billion Chinese. Falun Gong practitioners joined the protest.

Representative Mr. Zhang Zhaojin from the Canada Falun Dafa Association said that this day was meant to celebrate the United Nations' Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948. However, since 1999, millions of Chinese have been tortured, detained and murdered because they will not give up practicing Falun Gong.
"Today, let us remember that the Chinese Communist Party is still persecuting Falun Gong practitioners with inhuman methods," Zhang said. "We also must remember that the Communist Party spent a large amount of money collected from the Chinese people to defame Falun Gong in other countries, attempting to incite people to hate those that follow the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance."
He Zhili, former senior Engineer of the China National Ministry of Construction, and Gold Medal winner of the China National Outstanding Design Award, was jailed for three and a half years for practicing Falun Gong. He said that many westerners discuss how to protect their privacy and quality of life, but in China, they talk about the question of life and death. Falun Gong has been persecuted for seven years and the CCP has even systematically harvested organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.
Mr. Mike Craig from Amnesty International hosted the event. Uygur Human Rights Leader Rebiya Kadeer, Member of Canadian Parliament Peggy Nash, David Cozac from the Canada Pen Association, and Sheng Xue, Vice-President of the Democratic League, gave speeches at the protest.
Rebiya said that she was once a member of the Chinese Communist Party's Political Alliance and actively promoted the CCP's Xinjiang Policy. However, she realized that she had become a liar; all the promises the CCP made to Xinjiang were lies. Rebiya became a Uygur human rights leader later.
Vice-President of the Democratic League Ms. Sheng Xue called
on all Chinese to step forward and speak out. She said, "Maybe you
think you are lucky because you are not one of the 80 million who died
in the CCP's tyranny, but you are still one of those 1.3 billion
Chinese persecuted by the CCP. Human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng was
detained. His wife and child were humiliated. If you are a wife, a
mother, a woman or a man, you ought to step up and speak out for lawyer
Gao Zhisheng."
