Ms. Cao Aihua, a Falun Gong practitioner from Aksu City, Xinjiang Province, was illegally arrested in August 2006 when she was using currency to promote quitting the CCP. In the middle of November, Ms. Cao was sent to the Urumqi Women's Forced Labor Camp. She died within a week as a result of torture. This was the third time Ms. Cao had been put into a forced labor camp.
Ms. Cao 's relatives are suing the forced labor camp. The case has reached the Xinjiang Supreme People's Procuratorate. The procuratorate and the labor camp have been trying to shift responsibility onto others.
Ms. Cao had one breast removed in the past because she had breast cancer. When she started to practice Falun Gong in the summer of 1998, she had just finished chemotherapy treatments. She had lost almost all her hair and she weighed less than 40kg. After only one week of practicing Falun Gong, she felt that Teacher had cleansed her body. From then on, she chose to practice Falun Gong.
After the persecution began in July 1999, she went to Beijing twice in order to clarify the truth. Her mother knelt before the police officers and begged them not to put her daughter into the forced labor camp. She told them how her daughter had regained her health from practicing Falun Gong. Ms. Cao was arrested and sentenced twice to forced labor. The first time she was held at the Xinjiang Wulapo Forced Labor Camp from February 2001 to February 2003. The second time, they sentenced her in September 2003 to the Xinjiang Urumqi Women's Forced Labor Camp.
Her husband traveled more than 1000 km every month to visit her. Although her husband is not a practitioner, he knows that Falun Gong gave his wife a second life!
In the summer of 2006, Ms. Cao wrote truth clarification materials and messages about withdrawing from the CCP on paper currency. Police officers arrested and tortured her in August 2006. The head of the police station mentioned that they would release her as soon as she revealed the source of the truth clarification materials. Ms. Cao refused to give any information.
In October 2006, Ms. Cao was sentenced to forced labor for the third time. She was sent to Xinjiang Urumqi Women's Forced Labor Camp in November. In between, she was sent back and forth between police stations in Aksu and Alar. Only several days after she was sent to the Xinjiang Urumqi
Women's Forced Labor Camp, she was tortured to death.
Ms. Cao's husband and son (about 20 years old) could not believe that she had died so suddenly. Her father is currently very ill and in critical condition. Because of her family adamant demands, Ms. Cao's body was not cremated. Please support Ms. Cao Aihua's family!
In May 2003, practitioner Zhou Jun died at Xinjiang Urumqi Women's Forced Labor Camp as a result of torture. On December 31, 2005, many truth clarification phrases and flyers showed up in the streets of Aksu city. 610 Office personnel and police, including CCP secretary Wang Lequan, were yelling and demanding to "solve the case" in one week. Because of this, the police arrested many practitioners and even detained some of their family members for 24-hour interrogations.

lived in
Group Six, Section Sixteen, Yuejin Village. She began to practice Falun
Gong in
October 1998.
Ms. Zhang was illegally arrested five times since 2000. The first four times she was arrested, she was detained in Nianzishan District Detention Center, and each time she walked away from custody with diginity. However, the last time she was arrested she was beaten until she nearly died. Her entire body became swollen and her legs oozed fluid as a result of the extreme and merciless beatings. Eventually she died from severe damage to her internal organs, which were injured from the beatings.
At 7:30 a.m. on March 31, 2006, over 100 policemen from the Nianzishan District Department broke into four practitioners' homes simultaneously. Seven practitioners were arrested. Two of the practitioners escaped custody and are living in exile. Police confiscated three computers, 2 VCDs, one video machine, and a few Falun Gong books. Detained practitioners were brutally beaten and the police covered up all evidence of the incident. The practitioners were released only after money was extorted from their family members.
The police specifically targeted Ms. Zhang Yunzhi. Under the orders of Wang Hongxin, deputy director of Yuejin Police Station, a group of officers put a plastic bag over Zhang Yunzhi's head and proceeded to beat her mercilessly. She fainted as a result of the brutal treatment.
Police notified her family to come to the hospital where Ms. Zhang was being held. She was in critical condition at the Cranial Nerve Branch of Hoshan Hospital. When her family arrived and saw her, her limbs were twitching and her mouth was bleeding. She was incontinent and lying in filth. She was unconscious and barely alive. The doctors were shocked by her condition, but they did not prescribe any medication. Her family members were extremely distressed and insisted on taking her home. However, the officers refused to release her even in her terrible condition, stating that they needed authorization from their superiors. They made her family wait until two o'clock in the afternoon before Zhuang Yuenshi was permitted to go home.
Ms. Zhang gradually became conscious. She endured excruciating pain. A few times she vomited blood and there was blood in her urine. Her stomach became increasingly swollen. She could not eat or lie down. Her belly became so swollen that she was difficult to look at. Her head became ever smaller and the rest of her was as thin as a skeleton. Her buttocks festered. The holes in the skin on her legs, often oozed fluid. She was disfigured and needed constant care.

Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Yang Fengbin, 58, lived in Shijian Village, Dongcun Town, Haiyang City, Shandong Province. He was a stone carver, had a very healthy body, and was well-known in the village for his kindness. He was detained for a while in 2000 because he went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong, and he was later released.
In 2004, Mr. Yang was arrested by policemen from the Dongcun Town Department without reason. He was tortured to death in only four days. Policemen notified his family and lied, saying that Mr. Yang committed suicide by jumping off the building. His family doesn't have any place to voice their grievances.
People have heard that Mr. Yang was very steadfast, and he kept
saying,
"Falun Dafa is good" until he died. The police had beaten him cruelly

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Sun Yanfang, a teacher in First Middle School in the Xinhua District, Acheng City, Heilongjiang Province, has been imprisoned many times for practicing Falun Gong. She was sentenced to forced labor for one year in 2001. After her release, she was not allowed to go back to work until after she had spoken to her superior many times. In April 2005 she was again jailed for clarifying the truth about Falun Gong to students and teachers. She was laid off and was paid only a partial living allowance. In September 2006, when she went to the 610 Office to file a complaint, she was arrested and detained in Acheng City's First Detention Center, where she was terribly tortured and placed in handcuffs and shackles. Therefore, she went on a hunger strike shouting, "Falun Dafa is good!" Acheng City Hospital sent over a team of medical personnel and monitors to force-feed Ms. Sun Yanfang causing her to become extremely skinny. Afterwards, she went on hunger strikes intermittently.
On October 19, Acheng City court convened a hearing, but Ms. Sun refused to appear. On October 31, they organized another court hearing, and this time she was forcefully escorted by policemen. On the way, she shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" Inside the court she refused to sit in the defendant's seat. Explaining her refusal to sit in the seat helped to clarify the truth.
On November 21, Sun Yanfang received the Court's judgment: a three-year term of imprisonment. She rejected the illegal sentence.

On November 15, 2006, personnel from the Tong An Li residents committee in Wande Zhuang, Nankai District, Tianjin City, in conjunction with Communist Party police broke into Falun Gong practitioner Li Yuzhen's home. They used the excuse of wanting to discuss a People's Congress election to deceive the practitioner into opening the door. They arrested her after they illegally searched her home, confiscated her family's property and imprisoned her at the detention center in Nankai District Police Department.
Ms. Li Yuzhen is 48 years old. She started practicing Falun Gong in 1997 because she had poor health for years. After beginning the practice she became physically healthy, her mind was purified and her family became harmonized. She was persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party personnel because she didn't give up practicing Falun Gong and her belief in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" to be a good citizen. She was sentenced to prison in 2001. She persisted in her belief after she was released and ceaselessly clarified the truth about Falun Gong to people she met.
At noon on November 15, 2006, Communist Party personnel from the local residents committee illegally broke into Li Yuzhen's home. They colluded with officers from the Wanxing Police Station and illegally searched her home without reason or showing any permit. More than ten police officers and five or six people from the residents committee turned over everything and threw Falun Gong books and some Falun Gong truth materials everywhere. Four or five police forcibly arrested Li Yuzhen and she was taken away without a coat or shoes. Two of the officers were Lin Mosheng and Wang Jian.
In front of another four or five police officers, including a policewoman and a plainclothes policeman named Wang, a police officer from the Wanxing Police Station showed a kind of "search permit." One Communist Party personnel asked the police to adjust and decorate his clothes. Another policeman started a camcorder and they read the "Search Permit" in front of Li Yuzhen's family members. Then the plainclothes policeman started the home search. They took a computer, a printer, a laminator, a paper cutter, an MP3 player, her daughter's cell phone and phone book, and one box of blank paper. The personnel tried to get a signature from Li Yuzhen's family members for the form that listed the items they took, but were rejected.
That very evening, when Li Yuzhen's family members went to the police station to deliver clothes and shoes for her, they discovered after inquiring about her status that Li Yuzhen had been sent to the detention center at Nankai District Police Department. Four policemen (one of them being Wang Jian) showed them an "arrest permit" and asked for a signature, but were rejected.
Currently the whole family of Li Yuzhen feels very sad. Her daughter cannot eat or drink. Li Yuzhen's father is sick in bed and they are afraid to tell him the truth.
