At 11:00 p.m. on November 6, 2006, police officers from the Guiping 610 Office of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Huadu District 610 Office of Guangzhou City, and Tianmei Village Security Team at Xinhua Street, Huadu District collaborated to arrest Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Liang Zhiwei from Guiping City, Guangxi. Mr. Liang was passing by Huadu Commercial Boulevard on his way home from work when he was struck down by the officers. They swarmed around him, kicked him, beat him with iron rods, and shocked him with electric batons. Mr. Liang's head was covered with bumps and bruises. The officers then ransacked his residence, taking away everything of value. Mr. Liang is being held at the Guiping Detention Center.

Another practitioner, Mr. Liang Zhixiong, managed to evade being arrested. Guiping 610 Office tried to compel him to turn himself in by threatening to endanger the lives of his parents, siblings, wife, and children. The officials detained Mr. Liang's family members and relatives and forced them to accuse, criticize, and fight with each other. The officials fabricated rumors and created terror in the local area. When someone called and questioned one official, whose cellphone number is 13807852332, about why they would do such things and who the primary culprit was, the official answered that it was done on orders from the police bureau chief and higher ranking officials.

The crimes committed by Guiping 610 Office have been exposed on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website many times. The evildoers were outraged and wanted to kill the practitioners who disclosed their crimes. At the moment, the lives of Mr. Liang Zhixiong and his family members are in danger.

Practitioner Mr. Liang Zhihua has been held past his scheduled release date. We have not received any news concerning this practitioner since he was arrested on September 1, 2006, and no one knows his whereabouts.

On the morning of November 7, 2006, practitioner Ms. Xiao Xiao, an employee of the Guangzhou vehicle plant, was arrested by officials from Huadu 610 Office. Her whereabouts are unknown.

Since the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, Fuling Police Station has targeted practitioners working at the Chuandong Ship Manufacturing Factory in Chongqing City. For seven years the police have illegally searched the homes of 30 practitioners and put four people into forced labor camps. Fuling Police Station held an open meeting at the factory in January 2001. The meeting was for slandering and humiliating Falun Gong and its practitioners in a mock public trial.

Director Wang Zaix of the 610 Office at the police station often delivered orders to the factory to persecute practitioners. Deputy 610 Office directors Xia Daxue and Lei Yongjun aggressively cooperated with the police to carry out these orders. They targeted practitioners, monitored them, followed them, tapped their phones and read their personal mail.

Mr. Li Yunhe went to Beijing in October 1999 to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong. The factory notified the Chongqing Police Station. Li was illegally arrested in Chongqing and detained for 15 days before he was released.

When Ms. Liu Guangyu was doing Falun Gong exercises outside the factory in April 2000, she was abducted and detained for 35 days in Fuling Detention
Center. The police performed an illegal search of her house in June 2001, finding a photo of Master Li. The police therefore imprisoned her for 30 days and then sentenced her to serve two years at Maojiashan Forced Labor Camp in Chongqing City. She was released in May 2003.

Mr. Liu Zijin joined the group exercises outside the factory in April 2000. He was taken to Fuling Police Station and detained for 35 days. Since September 2001, the police have taken 60 yuan from his retirement account every month.

Ms. Zhang Suchang joined the exercise group outside the factory in April 2000. She was taken to Fuling Police Station and held for 35 days.

Ms. Zhang Jimei joined the group exercises outside of the factory in April 2000 and was arrested and held in Fuling Police Station for 35 days.

Ms. Dai Guoquan's home was searched in December 2000, and police found Falun Gong materials. She was illegally detained and tortured at Fuling Police Station for 35 days.

Ms. Chen Yunqing was posting truth clarifying materials in Chongqing City during May 2001. She was detained in a detention center in Chongqing. She was then sentenced to Maojiashan Forced Labor Camp in Chongqing. She was tortured, and required hospitalization after only six months. Ms. Chen was arrested, held, and tortured for over a month at Fuling Police Center, without any charges being filed, during the 2001 New Year. She was then released. In August 2002 Ms. Chen was again imprisoned by Fuling police at Fuling Detention Center for several months. She was then sentenced to three years in Yongchuan Prison. She was released in 2005, but she can't go home because of the persecution.

Mr. Zhang Xuelian was detained at Fuling Police Station for 15 days in June 2001 because he handed out Falun Gong materials. His salary was withheld for a year.

Ms. Ren Xuzhen was detained and tortured at Fuling Police Station for 15 days in June 2001 because she handed out Falun Gong materials.

Ms. Zhou Yunqing was detained and tortured at Fuling Police Station for 15 days in June 2001 because she was suspected of handing out Falun Gong materials.

Ms. Liu Zhu was detained at Fuling Police Station for15 days in June 2001 because she was suspected of handing out Falun Gong materials.

Ms. Xu Shibi was detained and tortured at Fuling Police Station for 15 days in June 2001 because she was suspected of handing out Falun Gong materials.

Ms. Tang Keyu was detained at Fuling Police Station for 15 days in June 2001 because she was suspected of handing out Falun Gong materials. The police searched her home and found Falun Gong materials in August 2002. She was detained at Fuling Police Station for a month, then sent to Maojiashan Women's Forced Labor Camp in Chongqing for a year. She was released in August 2003.

Mr. Li Zhiyun told a friend that the police had "illegally arrested" him. He was taken to Fuling Police Station for 15 days. The factory suspended his salary for a year.

Ms. Liu Xushou was arrested while delivering Falun Gong materials and held at Fuling Police Station for 15 days. Her salary was suspended for a year.

Ms. Wu Jiashu was detained at Fuling Police Station for 15 days in June 2001, because she was suspected of handing out Falun Gong materials. She was suspected of posting truth clarification materials and was arrested and taken to Fuling Police Station for 80 days in August 2002.

The police searched Ms. Wang Youzhen's home and found Falun Gong materials in August 2002. She was imprisoned and tortured at Fuling Police Station for 30 days.

The police searched Mr. Li Ruguang's home and found Falun Gong materials in August 2002. He was also imprisoned and tortured in Fuling Police Station for 30 days.

The police searched Ms. Xia Yaqiong's home and found Falun Gong materials in August 2002. She was imprisoned and tortured in Fuling Police Station for 30 days.

The police searched Mr. Hou Daxuan's home and found Falun Gong materials in August 2002. He was imprisoned and tortured in Fuling Police Station for 30 days.

The police searched Mr. Liu Dingyang's home and found Falun Gong materials in August 2002. He was imprisoned and tortured in Fuling Police Station for 30 days.

The Police arrested Ms. Zhang Dingying and tortured her in Fuling Detention Center.

The police searched Ms. Hu Chaomin's home and imprisoned and tortured her in Fuling Detention Center for 30 days.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Chen Yuanhua was arrested in June 2006. On November 17, 2006, she was sentenced to three years in prison by the Ninghe County Court, which kept the sentencing a secret from her family. There is a ten-day time period in which to appeal after sentencing. After allowing the ten days to pass quietly, the court wants to secretly send Ms. Chen to prison.

Ms. Chen Yuanhua, 55, lives in the Guojiayuan Market Area of Lutai Town, Nignhe County, Tianjin City. Since starting to practice Falun Gong in 1998, Ms. Chen has disciplined herself according to "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." She kept practicing after the persecution began on July 20, 1999, and was sent to a forced labor camp for two years. On June 3, 2006, Ms. Chen was trailed, arrested, and detained in the Ninghe County Detention Center, where she was cruelly tortured.

On July 19, 2006, the Ninghe County 610 Office and the County Court held a secret trial for Ms. Chen. She refused to cooperate and clarified the truth to the court, which alarmed the authorities. On November 17, the Ninghe County Court held a secret trial again and sentenced Ms. Chen to three years in prison. Her family is appealing the ruling.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Liang Yanying, in her 40s, is a teacher employed by the Wuyiguanjia Village Elementary School in Yitong County, Jilin Province. She truthfully answered her students' questions about Falun Gong in class. Her brother's wife, who is also the school's CCP Secretary, led Yitong County State Security agent Sun Shuping and others to ransack her home and threatened her until she fainted. The school assigned Ms. Liang to cook in the kitchen, and they did not allow her to teach.

On September 18, 2006, agent Sun Shuping went to the school again, arrested Ms. Liang, sentenced her to two years of forced labor, and took her to the Changchun City Forced Labor Camp. The officials fear their crimes will be exposed, so they have threatened all of the school's teachers and students, and Ms. Liang's family members are not allowed to provide any information about her.

Ms. Liang's daughter is a college student and is dependent on her mother's income. Now that Ms. Liang has been secretly arrested and sent to a forced labor camp, her daughter is faced with not having enough money to go to college.
