 Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zheng Shoujun from Niuxintuo Village, Liaozhong County, Shenyang City is currently being held in a detention center in Liaozhong County. He does not cooperate with the evil and has been on hunger strike for 14 days. Recently his head was severely wounded by police brutality, but the detention center is covering up this news and refuses to provide treatment to him. They do not allow his family to visit him or to make any inquires about his case.

At about 9 p.m. on February 16, 2006, while distributing materials at Panjiabao, Mr. Zhen Shoujun and Mr. Qiu Qinghua were illegally arrested by police from Panjiabao Police Station. They were taken to a detention center in Liaozhong County on the following day. They refused to cooperate with the evil and have maintained righteous minds and righteous actions. They shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" and were badly beaten by policeman Li Wei and others. In order to completely deny the evil persecution, they both refused to consume food and water.

Mr. Qiu Qinghua was in critical condition at the point when he was taken to Shenyang Zhangshi Forced Labor Camp on February 20. On the following day the police asked his family to take him home. Now, he has been forced to leave his home to avoid harassing visits from Li Wei (from the Political Security Team of the Police Department of Liaozhong County), the director of Panjiabao Police Station Zhu Dezheng, policeman Zhi Yong, Ding Guoqiang and other policemen. The authorities still try to force Mr. Qiu's family to tell them where he has gone.

Zheng Shoujun was once persecuted in Zhangshi Forced Labor Camp by the so-called "sudden brake" torture, wherein police kick Falun Gong practitioners in the head to have their heads knocked against the wall. Every kick and knock is called a "sudden brake." After being tortured in this way, Zheng's legs were immobilized for several months, leaving him to drag them around with great difficulty.

Chengdu Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhu Junxiu was illegally sentenced to eight years in prison on March 6, 2006 by the Chengdu Jinniu District Court. Ms. Zhu had been persecuted so severely that she had to be carried to the court on someone's back.

Ms. Zhu Junxiu, 50 years old, is a practitioner from Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Because she practiced Falun Gong, she was arrested, imprisoned and persecuted many times. She suffered a great deal both physically and emotionally, and she also lost several million yuan.

On October 14, 2000, Ms. Zhu was arrested by plainclothes police officers from Xiaojiacun Police Station, where she stayed in a small, dark, cold cell for the following two nights.

On October 16, 2000, Ms. Zhu was held in the Chongzhou City Detention Center. The guards hit her in the face and temple, and pulled her hair. As a result, she lost consciousness twice. Four days later, she was transferred to the Huaiyuan City Police Station. For 40 days, she was kept in a dark room without windows but with urine and excrement all over the floor. The police did not allow her to wash up or use the restroom. Chengdu Police Department officials illegally sentenced her to one year of forced labor and sent her to Nanmushi Women's Forced Labor Camp. She was persecuted there for eight months.

In November 2005, Ms. Zhu went to the relevant departments to demand the return of 200,000 yuan, which had been illegally confiscated. She was arrested again and persecuted by the authorities. On March 6, she was sentenced to eight years in prison.

 Because of Mr. Li Wenming's insistence in his Falun Gong practice, the authorities have persecuted him since July 20, 1999, when the CCP started the persecution. In November 1999 and December 2000, he went to Beijing to appeal and was detained twice. Between January 2001 and November 2005 he was detained many times. Those responsible were from the Yunquan Police Station, the detention center, the Xiazhai Forced Labor Camp in Datong, the Xindian Forced Labor Camp in Taiyuan, the Second Detention Center, the Shanxi Province First Prison, and others. He was only able to be home for eight months between February and November 2002. When he returned in November 2005, his workplace still persecuted him and didn't pay him a salary, so he lost his source of income.

On November 14, 1999, Mr. Li was arrested again when he went to Beijing to appeal. He was able to escape, but on his way home a security person from his workplace who happened to be on the train recognized him. Mr. Li was sent to the Xihuayuan Police Station. He wasn't able to go home until after 38 days in the police station.

On December 20, 2000, Mr. Li went to Beijing again to appeal and was arrested by the police at Tiananmen Square. Two days later he was sent to the Hebei Province Liaison Office in Beijing and later released.

Right after the 15th day of the first month of the lunar year of 2001, Mr. Li was taken to the Security Section at his workplace. Those responsible were Zhen De and others from the Security Section. After Zhen beat Mr. Li brutally, Zhen sent him to the Yunquan District Police Department. Several officials, including the section chief of the police department and the 610 Office head Yong Junfeng, used an electric baton on Mr. Li, even in his mouth and on his penis. On the third day he was tortured all night long. Then he was sent to the Mine Detention Center. Guard Liu Jiang and several inmates beat Mr. Li. He was held in the detention center for three months. On May 27, he was sent to the Xingdian Forced Labor Camp in Taiyuan and was abused there for over a year. The abuse included corporal punishment, being forced to stand for long periods of time, sleep deprivation, and other methods. Guards Wang Xing and others were involved in this. On February 17, 2002, Mr. Li Wenming returned home.

After he returned, he was not spared from the persecution. He was followed every day. He was not allowed to return to work and he received no pension.

On November 9, 2002, three people, including Xihuayuan Police Station chief Zhang and others, showed up to search Mr. Li's house and arrest him. He was sent to the district police department, where he was handcuffed to a chair and several guards beat him with electric batons. During the night of November 11, the guards dragged him down to the basement, took off his clothes, and handcuffed him to a metal chair. Guard Wang Shan beat him using electric batons. Liu Yi, Zhang Ji, and Kang from the 610 Office were present. They beat him and injured his penis. Four guards held his legs down and beat him from 7:00 p.m. until after 11:00 p.m.

After being detained in the Second Detention Center for 15 months, Mr. Li was sent to the First Prison in Shanxi Province. The guards there incited criminal inmates such as Zhao Junfeng and others to beat and choke Mr. Li. They forbade him bathroom use and deprived him of sleep. They forced him to stand. Between July and September 2004, they beat him every day because he refused to be "reformed." From 8:00 a.m. till midnight, if he didn't stand and tried to sit, he would be beaten.

After being grossly abused and tortured for three years in the forced labor camp, Mr. Li Wenming returned home in November 2005. So far his employers have refused to hire him back and have not paid him one penny. The persecution is continuing.

 According to an internal source, in early March 2006, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Kong Lingxin, an employee of the Xi'an city government, was secretly arrested by policemen from Xi'an City Police Department without any justification. Police officers ransacked his home, arrested him, and left his cell phone on in hopes of arresting more practitioners.

Mr. Kong Lingxin has been on hunger strike to protest the persecution since he was arrested two weeks ago. His life is in danger. Fellow practitioners from China or overseas, please help to urgently rescue Mr. Kong Lingxin.

Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wang Liang (alias) is from Hubei Province. He graduated from the Chemistry Department of Shanghai Normal University in 1999. He had to leave home and become destitute after July 20, 1999 to avoid being arrested at home. He was taken in by fellow practitioners in Hebei Province in 2002. He became a laborer, seeking jobs in Shandong Province together with fellow practitioners from Hebei Province. In the winter of 2004, policemen from Yantai City arrested him because he didn't have any personal ID. His employer bailed him out, but he went missing on the way from Yantai City to Shijiazhuang City in Hebei Province.

Practitioner Ms. Ji Shuhua lived in Xuzhuang Village, Jianqiao Township, Fucheng County, Hebei Province. She went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong, was arrested, and then sentenced to forced labor. After being released, she had to leave home and get a labor job because her family was strongly against her practicing Falun Gong. She was fired several times and has been missing since 2005.

 My wife, He Xiuling, was persecuted to death by the Yantan Zhifu Detention Center, the Yantan City 610 Office, and Yuhuangdi Hospital at 7:30 a.m. on March 11, 2004, because she refused to give up her belief.

Before my wife died, officials used all kinds of dirty, cruel, and inhumane methods to torture her. After her death, I brought her final medical report from Yuhuangdi Hospital to some experts for their opinions. They told me that they needed the original medical records, because the summary medical report did not describe the origin of the hydrocephalus or how the spinal puncture procedure caused her death. I asked for the original records from the hospital many times but the administrators refused to give them to me. Other family members and I asked the medical examiner to examine her body, but the medical examiners from the Shandong Province Police Department, the Shandong Province Public Prosecutor, and Shandong Justice Bureau all helped to conceal the truth about the persecution. They were afraid to give us the report. In the end the Shandong Province Public Prosecutor even removed her original medical records from the hospital.

On February 9, 2006, I went to view my wife's body, but different levels of CCP officials prevented me from seeing her. Later, I tried several more times, but they refused me. On February 23, 2006, I contacted Director Gao from the Shandong Province Police Department again asking to view my wife's body. He replied that the request had been sent to the city office and no answer had come back yet.

It is my right to view my wife's body. The CCP officials, however, colluded with each other and refused to accept any written documents or fingerprints as proof. I appeal to the United Nations to investigate the death of my wife, so that injustice can be revealed and evil can be exposed to the world. I hope that injustice like this never happens again.

1. In Hegang City, Falun Gong practitioners have been arrested

On the morning of March 22, 2006, practitioner Ms. Xie Xiurong, a woman in her fifties from Gongnong Area of Hegang City, was illegally arrested in her own home by four policemen. Three other practitioners were also arrested that day while distributing Falun Gong truth clarification materials. More information will become available as this investigation progresses.

During the National People's Congress and Political Consultation Conference, practitioners Mr. Zhao Dezhi, a man in his thirties, and Ms. Tang Guirong, a woman around forty-five from the Xingshang District of Hegang City, were arrested. Ms. Tang Guirong had been previously arrested on September 7, 2005 while she was attending an experience-sharing meeting, which was also attended by more than 50 other practitioners living in Hegang City. Ms. Guirong was detained for over four months. Two months after her release, she was arrested again.

2. Mr. Shang Xiping, a practitioner from Hua'nan County of Jiamusi City has been transferred from Hegang City 2^nd Detention Center to Hegang City 1^st Detention Center. Five other practitioners are also currently detained at Hegang City 1^st Detention Center. They include Mr. Shang Xiping, Zhang Junying, Ms. Hu Guijie, Ms. Zhao Guiyou and Ms. Li Liping, from Daqing City. Hegang City practitioner Yang Yongying is currently detained at Hegang City 2^nd Detention Center. The perpetrators plan to put these practitioners on trial.

3. Yi Haizhu, a Jiamusi City practitioner, has been brutally tortured. Haizhu has been on a hunger strike for over twenty days and has been sent to a hospital for emergency treatment.

 Zhu Junxiu, former auditor of the National Tax Bureau of Qingyang District, Chengdu City, was arrested by the Chengdu City Police Department's Jinniu Station under false charges in October 2005. Since then, she has been imprisoned in the Detention Center of the Chengdu City Police Department. Recently, Zhu Junxiu was illegally sentenced to eight years of imprisonment by the Jinniu District Court. When the verdict was announced, Zhu Jiuxiu was already unable to walk normally and had to be carried into the courtroom.

Even though we are not very sure what kind of brutal torture befell Zhu Junxiu, what we do know is that Zhu's body is currently very weak and that she is on the brink of death.

Since the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999, Ms. Zhu Junxiu has suffered many years of persecution. In 2000, when Falun Gong came under attack, Zhu went to Beijing to clarify the truth to the government. The Police Department arrested and detained her. Without any reason, or opportunity for her to explain, she was deprived of her rights to appeal to the government and dismissed from her job.

Under these circumstances, unable to appeal through normal means, Zhu Junxiu was again arrested by the Police Department while clarifying the truth to locals at the end of 2000. She was sent to the Nanmu Temple Women's Labor Camp in Zizhong City along with criminals and drug addicts for a year, where she suffered numerous physical and psychological torture. She was forced to stand upright facing the wall for dozens of days without rest, was not allowed to speak, and was imprisoned in her jail cell for long periods of time and not permitted to move.

Not long after she was released from labor camp, the local policemen tried to barge into her house after she clarified the truth to her neighbor. Zhu Junxiu refused to open the door and was kept in her house for several days at home by the police. Faced with no choice, Zhu tore up the sheets on her bed, tied them into a rope and slid down from the 7^th floor. She was severely injured when she fell.

When her injury barely began to improve, Zhu was tricked by the Xiaojia Village Police Station. Both Zhu and her husband were arrested and imprisoned. This imprisonment brought huge damage to Zhu's body. She was subjected to brutal beatings and physical interrogation. She was not allowed to sleep for nine days and nine nights with strong lights shining directly at her eyes - whenever she closed her eyes, she would be beaten immediately. Towels stained with polluted, dirty water were used to pull up her eyelids and the dirty water squeezed into her eyes. Her head was covered with a plastic bag until she almost passed out before the bag was removed. She was subjected to these tortures over and over again.

Zhu Junxiu underwent a hunger strike to protest against the persecution and suffered force-feeding inside the prison. She was tortured to the brink of death before the police allowed her family members to bail her out and await trial. Zhu's body never recovered all along these eight, nine months of brutal persecution. She could not see things clearly for a prolonged period of time. She also fainted several times. Her husband was illegally sent to labor camp for three years, and two of his family-run factories and construction companies were destroyed by the Police Department. She lost more than 10 million yuan as a result, not to mention the decades of hard work by her husband that were ruined overnight. 200,000 yuan cash owned by Zhu was also confiscated by the Jinniu Police Department. Between September and October 2005, Zhu tried to ask for the money back from the Jinniu Police Department, but she was arrested and now is sentenced to eight years of imprisonment.

What Zhu Junxiu has faced over the past few years is a real life depiction of the brutality of the evil Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong and Falun Gong practitioners. It is an example of the numerous victims who suffered under the evil policy of "bankrupt them financially, defame their reputations, and destroy them physically."

1. [Tonghua County, Jilin Province] The Police Are Persecuting Practitioners Who Had Contact with Mr. Liu Renge

In 2002, parts of the truth-clarifying material centers in Tonghua City were destroyed. Some practitioners were abducted. Mr. Liu Renge, who escaped this incident, was forced to become homeless. He was later arrested by the Tonghua County 610 Office and the National Security Team and has since been detained. The police, on one hand, lied to his family that they would release him very soon. On the other hand, they collected evidence and went to harass those practitioners who had contact with Mr. Liu Renge. It is now known that there were four to five practitioners who were harassed by the police, including some who were sentenced to forced labor camps.

In addition, a practitioner named Mr. Zheng Fulin was detained at Tonghua County Detention Center for four days.

On the afternoon of March 10, 2006, the City Committee of Qinhuangdao City, followed by a dozen policemen broke into doctor Chang's home and illegally searched his home on the fifth floor, Unit 1, Building 16, Wenmingli. Doctor Chang's wife is an employee of the Water Supply Company. He has an 8-year-old child. The police vehicle was fully packed with confiscated machines, and truth-clarifying materials, including DVDs that were taken from the home. The police also wanted to take away the child who is in primary school.

On June 10, 2002, the 214th Cell of Team Two of the Liaoyang City Detention Center detained four female practitioners, Ms. Li Hongzhong, Ms. Yu Zhen, Ms. Li Zhen and Ms. Luo Li. They are between the ages of 25 and 40 years old. Since they protested against the persecution, and they did not co-operate with the evil (they would not tell them their real names and refused to wear the prison uniforms). Guard Song Bin instigated a prisoner named Dong Shuang in Cell 214 to strip off these four practitioners' clothes and force the practitioners to stand at the door and the window of the cell facing outside, so that male prisoners who were walking around the hallway and the court yard could see them.

The practitioners were tortured in such a cruel way but they still refused to co-operate with the evil's request. As a result, Dong Shuang instigated the other prisoners to beat the practitioners ceaselessly until the practitioners were bruised and lacerated. Ms. Li Hongzhong and Ms. Yu Zhen were beaten until they lost consciousness and were sent to the hospital for rescue. Later, those villains forced the practitioners to use toilet water to brush their teeth and drink. The prisoner guard named Song Bin instigated Dong Shuang from the No. 214 Cell and Feng Yajie from Cell 215 to control the practitioners' money, and spend the money freely as they liked. The four female practitioners went on a hunger strike to protest the inhuman persecution.

Practitioner Ms. Wang Yinghua was an accountant at the Shihezi City Quality Control Bureau. She was sentenced to forced labor camp for three years in 2002 for clarifying the truth.

Her husband Mr. Zhang Fazhi, 59, whose place of origin is Jiangsu Province, was the director of the Water and Soil Bureau of Xinjiang Military Group. He was an associate research fellow. After he was dismissed from his job and they stopped paying his salary, he suffered from mental depression. In August 2000, he died in a car accident on his way to the supermarket.

A spy from the National Security Team pretended to be a practitioner. He brought a printer with him to a practitioner's home. This spy won the practitioner's trust by leaving behind the printer. Several days later, a group of people broke into the practitioner's home, smashed the window, searched and found the practitioner's cell phone and confiscated two thousand yuan in cash. They illegally arrested this practitioner. The spy also used the practitioner's cell phone to trace and find other practitioners. The spy made an appointment with this practitioner, trying to abduct him. This practitioner went to this appointment as scheduled. As a result, he was surrounded by the police. In order not to co-operate with the evil, he jumped from the seventh floor and severely injured himself before he was arrested by the police.

Ms. Yang Xiaodong, a practitioner from Lishu County, Jilin Province, was arrested from her home at 6:00 p.m. on March 7, 2006 by the 610 Office agent/spy Li Changfu, the National Security Team Leader Wang Dejun, and a policeman named Li Ying from the Dafangshen Police Substation. They confiscated her Falun Gong books and truth-clarifying materials. Currently she is being detained at Siping City Detention Center

Practitioners Ms. Sun Li and Duan Shengsheng were illegally sentenced by the Yuhua District Court on February 28, 2006. Ms. Sun Li was sentenced to five years and six months, and Duan Shengsheng was sentenced to three years.

Before January 1, 2006, Lou Zhanchun, the director of the Changbai County 610 Office, Jilin Province, member Wang Jingshun and Yang Xin'gang, together with the National Security Team leader Liu Yufeng went to several practitioners' homes. Without following any procedure or giving any reasons, they forcibly searched the practitioners' homes. They found several copies of truth-clarifying materials from Ms. Xu (a family member of an employee of the Woods Industrial Bureau) and Ms. Zhang (a family member of a retired worker of the Forest Management Bureau). Each of them was fined ten thousand yuan. Since the two of them are jobless, and have financial difficulties, the police forcibly extorted money from their husbands and married children. Ms. Xu was extorted of 500 yuan each month, her husband earns 820 monthly. Ms. Zhang was extorted of 1000 yuan and her husband was extorted of 600 yuan per month from his pensions. Her two sons who work at the same place as her husband were extorted of 200 yuan each per month.

At 1:00 a.m. on March 1, 2006, Wang Yingjie, chief of the Daqing Jail, followed by six policemen including the jail's political section chief Yuan Hongjun, Li Tie, Fan Lijun, Chen Xuesong, and Wang Jiewen came to the 3rd Sauadron of the 2nd Group. Directed by Wang Yingjie, the other policemen beat the practitioners jailed at Detachment Three of Team Two, who were Mr. Xia Yong, Mr. Li Hai and Ms. Li Huifeng. Before whipping the practitioners with a leather belt they forcibly put Ms. Li Huifeng in a prisoner uniform and jailed her in a small cell. The police locked her onto the iron stool and beat her with police batons and fists. The police hung Ms. Li Huifeng for over seven hours before they released her and put her back into the small cell. They used prisoners to keep the practitioners under 24 hour surveillance. They also smashed the three practitioners' personal belongings and confiscated 350 yuan. They burned the practitioners' clothes and mail on the spot. When Ms. Li Huifeng asked why Wang Yingjie beat the practitioners, Wang Yingjie even denied it.

In early March 2006, Ms. Liu Xiuxia and Ms. Li Xiuqin from Fengrun District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province were arrested by the police from the Yingchengpu Township Police Substation, when they were giving out the truth-clarifying materials.

Mr. Zhang Hemin from Xinji, Changli County, Hebei Province was arrested and is now being detained at the Changli Detention Center.

On March 6, 2006, Shen Fu, a practitioner from Luan County, Tangshan City, Hebei Province was taken away by the Luan County Police Department, and is now being detained at Luan County Detention Center.

Shen Fu is a music teacher of the Luan County No. 2 Experimental Primary School. He was reported to the police by parents for clarifying the truth to the students. On March 8, the Luan County 610 Office transferred two people from Tangshan City to "transform" practitioners. They said that if the practitioners were not "transformed" within ten days, they would be sent to the Tangshan Brainwashing Class.

A materials center on Daxi Street of Tiexi District, Anshan City, Liaoning Province was destroyed on March 7, 2006. It is said that the reason is because of internet surfing. Ms. Zhang Qiuju and her husband and son, who do not practice Falun Gong were abducted at the same time. Her brother, who also practices Falun Gong and a fellow practitioner named Wang Shirong were also arrested.

The Longbai Village Police Station in Shanghai City arrested practitioner Liu, from Fuxin City, Liaoning Province, when he distributed truth-clarifying materials in Shanghai City. He is held in room 838 of Dongchuan Road Detention Center in Shanghai City.

Currently there are at least eight practitioners being brutally tortured in Xuzhou City. The practitioners who are illegally held at the Beishan Detention Center in Xuzhou City include practitioner Ms. Lu Jianmei from Xuzhou Heavy Machinery Co., Ms. Zhao Suyun from Xuzhou City, a practitioner from Xuzhou City Television Station, Ms. Shi Mengxia from Huaibei, Anhui Province, an unknown practitioner from Shandong Province (held since May 1, 2005). The practitioners who are illegally held at Quanshan District, Xuzhou City include Mr. Dai Zhifeng from Anhui Province, Mr. Yu Yizhi and Mr. Zhou Hui.

On March 13, 2006, at 10:00 a.m., a female practitioner who is about 50 years old was arrested when she distributed truth-clarifying materials near a stock exchange company located west of the Dongling Police Department at Shenyang City. The details are yet unknown.

Practitioner Nie Guojun, from Weifang City, Shandong Province, was arrested by police at about 11:00 p.m. on March 4, 2006 in Meicun Town Development District. He is now held at Weifang City.

On March 1, 2006, police ransacked the home of senior practitioner Ms. Wang Shulan, near the intersection of Hezuo Road and Youyi Street. Some truth-clarifying materials were confiscated. Wang Shulan is held at the Shijiazhuang Detention Center (Beijiao).

On March 3, practitioner Ms. Caiping's (last name is unknown) home in Lianmeng Community District was ransacked by the police. Ms. Caiping and the other two practitioners who were at her home at the time (the female practitioner's surname is Qi and the male practitioner's surname is An) were all arrested. The police also confiscated some Falun Gong materials that the two practitioners had brought to her home. The three practitioners are now held at the Shijiazhuang City Detention Center.

Around October 20, 2005, Ms. Wang Shuzhi was arrested by the 610 Office agents when she was distributing truth-clarifying materials. On November 22, she was illegally sentenced one year of forced labor and sent to Wangcun Labor Camp.

Ms. Xia Hongxia was brutally persecuted at the Third Group of the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. The chief Wang Xueqiu is extremely evil. Xia Hongixa's body is full of cuts and bruises due to the persecution. Her family went to the forced labor camp to request the release of Xia Hongxia, but their request was rejected.

According to an insider's disclosure, practitioner Liu Changjun from Wendeng City was arrested and persecuted by the police. Liu Changjun is at the Wendeng City Development District Hospital and he is wearing handcuffs and foot shackles. He is very emaciated due to the brutal torture. The details are still unknown.

25. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Practitioners Liu Xirong and Wen Shuyu Illegally Arrested and Homes Ransacked

On March 6, 2006 morning, four or five people from Daqinjia Town, Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province including Ding Jiguo and Yan Dengshan from the Town Judicature Office, ransacked practitioner Mr. Liu Xirong's home at Chenjiayao Village, Daqinjia Town. They then went to Wenjiazhuang Village in the same town and ransacked practitioner Ms. Wen Shuyu's home.

On February 17, 2006, practitioner Ms. You Yuzhen from Changji City, Xinjiang Province was arrested by the Changji City Police Department because she studied Falun Gong at her home together with five other practitioners.

Practitioner Ms. Jia Zhiyan from Changji Sanitation School was reported to the police because she handed out truth-clarifying materials. Changji City National Security Group arrested at from her office and ransacked her home on February 27, 2006.

Recently, the police in Matou Town, Ruichang City, Jiangxi Province illegally arrested many practitioners including Ms. Zou Chunhong, Zhang Xinmei, Ms. Liu Juzhen, and Huang Chaowu.

On March 10, 2006, at about 3:00 p.m. Wang Hailong, the deputy-chief of the Qinglong County Police Department in Hebei Province and Tong Xiumin from the Political and Security Authorities ransacked Chen Zhiling's home at Wenzhangzi Xiaoyingzi, and illegally arrested Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Li Huimin.

Liu Huimin, 40, had even been illegally sentenced for five years because of practicing Falun Gong. He was just released last year. He lost his job and he had no place to live. He was temporarily living at Chen Zhiling's home. When the police knocked at the door, they lied by saying that they were the relatives of Chen Zhiling. After the door opened, the police broke into and ransacked the home and arrested Liu Huimin.

On the afternoon of March 13, 2006, officers from the 610 Office at Weifang City, Shandong Province, and the local police station, arrested practitioner Mr. Li Tianmin at the photocopy salesroom that he managed. Then the police brought him to his home and ransacked the home.

On the morning of March 5, 2006, police from the Shiqiaozi Town Police Station in Zhucheng City, Shandong Province broke into practitioner Mr. Zhang Jixiang's home at Tianjiayuewang Village, Shiqiaozi Town, and ransacked the home. They then arrested Zhang Jixiang and held him at the Zhucheng City Detention Center. He was released unconditionally after about six days.

During the imprisonment, police robbed Zhang Jixiang of 60 yuan. Policeman Mao Yulong also illegally interrogated him. When Zhang Jixiang was released, he asked the police to return the 60 yuan. The police said, "We have not asked you for living expenses. You even want to ask us for the money back."

Ms. Li Xinru, a Falun Gong practitioner from Shangqiu City, was illegally arrested by Liangyuan District Police of Shangqiu City. Family members' efforts to release her have failed. Xinru was transferred to Suiyang District, where previously another Falun Gong practitioner, Ms. Zhang Lianxiu, was killed (see /emh/articles/2005/7/22/63116.html). Li Xinru is now suffering from cruel maltreatment.

Meanwhile, two other Falun Gong practitioners, Tao Weijun and Zhang Jun, are currently illegally detained by Shangqiu Police.
