Shen Jianli, a Falun Gong practitioner from Changchun, was a teacher at Jilin University. At the end of April 2002, a police officer unintentionally released information that Shen Jianli had been killed as a result of persecution. So far, her body has not been found. We are calling for further investigation into this matter.
Shen Jianli (taken in 1999)
Ms. Shen Jianli was born in 1969. She was a faculty member at the Department of Applied Mathematics, Jilin University, Jilin Province. Because she persisted in practicing Falun Gong and believing in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance", she was sent by two heads of the 610 Office at Jilin University, Liu Yuan and Liu Wei, to the Nanling Police Substation. She was later sent to the Jingyuetan Brainwashing Center. Her three-year-old son Shen Jianli was also subjected to brainwashing. The Nanling Police Substation repeatedly threatened to send her son to an orphanage so that they could send Shen Jianli to a forced labor camp. Shen Jianli's husband Zhen Weidong was also later detained at a forced labor camp. Shen Jianli and her child managed to escape. After that, Liu Yuan boasted, "I don't believe that I cannot get her." Shen Jianli was then placed on the police's wanted list.
On March 6, 2002 when her husband Zhen Weidong was put on trial, Shen Jianli was arrested at the entrance of the courthouse. As a result, her child was left alone at the entrance. Shen Jianli was illegally detained at the Third Detention Center of Changchun city, otherwise known as Shuanyang Detention Center, and her husband Zhen Weidong was illegally sentenced to thirteen years of imprisonment. Shen Jianli went on a hunger strike to protest her illegal detainment. It was confirmed by a witness that Shen Jianli never returned after the first interrogation.
The police told those searching for Shen Jianli that
she was
not dead, but sent to another place. Another police officer said, "I
cannot
tell you where she is; I'll be finished if I tell you that." When she
was
arrested, Shen Jianli was only 33. Her health was perfect, but now we
have
reason to believe that she is deceased, possibly as a result of organ
harvesting.

1. Practitioner Mr. Zhang Yong from Jilin Province Missing from Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp in Jiutai
Mr. Zhang Yong, born on July 16, 1971, is a practitioner from Yongji County in Jilin Province. He was an employee of the Foundation Processing Sub-bureau of China Hydraulic and Hydro-Electric No. 1 Engineering Bureau. In the fall of 2002, Sun Wansheng, former party secretary of his work unit, and other officials deceived him to return to work. The officials then notified the 610 Office, and Mr. Zhang Yong was arrested and sentenced to two years of forced labor in the Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp in Jiutai, Jilin Province. Mr. Zhang should have been released in 2004, however he remains missing to this day. No information is available regarding his whereabouts.
2. Practitioner Ms. Li Xiuying from Changchun City Missing since 2004
Ms. Li Xiuying, born on April 21, 1966, lived at #2 Unit 2, Floor 4, Building 2, Furong Residential Complex, Changchun City. She went missing on April 28, 2004, when she was 38 years old. Her whereabouts remain unknown. Her family went to the police station several times to inquire. The officers all said that they knew nothing about her.
Picture of Ms. Li Xiuying provided by her family
An insider who had once been to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp because of business, gave the following statements:
First, there is no one in the entire (Liaoning) province who does not know about Masanjia, where people were frequently beaten to death in the1950's and 60's since its establishment. Masanjia is infamous for its ruthlessness. There is no limit as to how far the punishments can go in China.
Second, once when I passed by a yard, I saw from afar that in the courtyard a police officer was whipping a male Falun Gong practitioner with a bamboo stick. This Falun Gong practitioner had on only a white undershirt, and he was bleeding where the stick hit. I really could not bear to watch, and I also did not dare to look longer.
Third, in a big courtyard, there were people holding a male Falun Gong practitioner from both sides, forcing his body to bend forward while standing, with his head pointing towards the ground and his spinal cord bent. It definitely had gone on for a very long time, otherwise his face would not have been that swollen when he raised his head. While the practitioner was forced to bend, a guard stood behind him with an unknown object (maybe an electric baton) in hand and hit the practitioner's lower back with it. (Note: the people who held the practitioner on both sides were usually the inmates.)
Fourth, on summer evenings, Falun Gong practitioners were firmly held by people from both sides, and wore only an undershirt, with a lamp on top of their heads (to attract mosquitoes). The guards (quite a few had retired from the armed forces, and their quality generally was very bad) said viciously, "If they do not follow orders, fix them."
Fifth, in 1999, the Falun Gong practitioners were all sent to one window to get their food. What they ate was plain vegetable soup, and corn paste.
Sixth, the son of the manager from the Shenyang Huanggutun District Meat Processing Factory was a practitioner, and was beaten until his brain tissue came out. He later became mentally retarded after surgery. I know him.

Here we appeal to all the insiders who have a conscience to provide first hand or relevant information, (see April 8, 2006 Clearwisdom.net article "Notice on the Scope of Investigation and Evidence Collection by the "Committee to Investigate the Facts") and join us to fight against the persecution and stop the slaughter! We call for conscience and justice for humankind.

Jiuquan Jail in Gansu Province was initially constructed in October 1951. Located on the southeast corner of Jiuquan City, it is known to the public as the Jiuquan Electrical Machinery Plant. Currently, they have 469 police officers and employees, and around 330 retired staff. The main electrical plant occupies 30 acres. The jail area consists of thirteen buildings located in the suburb. The two farms affiliated with the jail, Chengjiao and Qingshui Farms, have an area of around 1650 acres and are situated in the desert. Xiaheqing Farm is situated to the northeast in the Jiuquan urban district. It has been nicknamed by local residents the "white sore beach." This is Jiuquan Jail's largest labor camp for "reform" through re-education, covering an area of 1650 acres. The supervision jurisdiction belongs to the 4th and 5th Group of the jail. The train station ironwork factory is Jiuquan Jail's 7th Group.
Map of Jiuquan Jail in Gansu Province
In 2001, Jiuquan Jail in Gansu Province was designated by Gansu Province Jail Administrative Bureau, (Bureau Chief Lu Sanxin) as the jail for serious criminal offenders. Some sources revealed that "Jiang Zemin ordered that several special large 'reform' prisons be built in deserted, isolated, uninhabited regions of the five provinces including Xinjiang, Gansu, Inner Mongolia and Sichuan provinces to imprison Falun Gong practitioners with the instruction that the prisoners taken there should never come out. In February of 2005, the Gansu Province Jail Administrative Bureau invested approximately 300 million yuan to remodel the prisons in Gansu Province, including the lay out, within two years. Jiuquan's Jail in Gansu Province was included in the plan for modification and remodeling.
Located in the suburb of Jiuquan, is Juiquan Electrical Machinery Plant Suburb Farm (approximately about 6 km from the city, situated about 3 km off of Jinta highway) This is Jiuquan Jail's sixth supervised prison, and many practitioners are being held here. A Lanzhou practitioner is currently imprisoned there. It has been reported that practitioners who were confined in Jiuquan Jails were dispersed between the areas of Jiuquan City and Jinta County, in multiple locations. The sixth and fourth jails are close to Jiuquan City while the specific locations of other jails are unknown.
In 2003, the corrupt police used the pretext of so-called "reforming" Falun Gong practitioners, to concentrate the confinement into a squadron within the jail. This confinement enabled the practitioners to collectively resist the persecution with a hunger strike. Later they were dispersed to other jails for confinement.
Falun Gong practitioner Wang Xiaodong, from Yumen City, resisted the illegal confinement, and was persecuted during the Chinese New Year's celebration period through solitary confinement and sleep deprivation for more than twenty-six days.
On December 1, 2005, 20 practitioners who were confined in Wuwei Jail were transferred to Jiuquan Jail to be "transformed."
Before 2006, the Electrical Machinery Plant was imprisoning more than twenty Falun Gong practitioners from the Jiuquan area. Li Yuhai was illegally sentenced to 14 years in prison, Wang Wenzhong ten years, Wang Xiaodong eight years, and Ma Yong for three years. Several others have already been accounted for on the Internet, and many others are currently unaccounted for.
Around the Lunar New Year in 2006, the male practitioners who were sentenced in Gansu Province were transferred to Jiuquan Electrical Machinery Plant for more severe, brutal, and intense persecution. On the surface, they were not forced to do labor with beatings or verbal abuse. Instead, they were persecuted more covertly, by being deprived of sleep. Some practitioners were not allowed to sleep for more than ten consecutive days. The police would designate certain "Jail Protectors" to follow the practitioners at all times, even during their family member's visits. They monitored every movement of the practitioners.
The Jiuquan Jail staff has brutally persecuted practitioners. Practitioners were not even allowed to speak to their family members during visits since they were being monitored. All the practitioners in Jiuquan Jail were steadfast practitioners who refused to renounce the practice; they had been previously persecuted in various other jails in Gansu Province. Some of the practitioners were confined for more than four years.
According to information from reliable sources, Falun Gong practitioners from Gansu, Qinghai and Ningxia provinces who refuse to renounce the practice are transferred intermittently to this remote concentration camp for continued persecution.

In March and April 2005, the police in Lianyungang City and Ganyu County of Jiangsu Province were rampantly persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Falun Gong practitioners went out at night to distribute truth material to awaken people. Threatened by the police and under intense pressure, a few practitioners who did not have firm rigtheous belief were coerced to give out the names of their fellow practitioners who went out at night to distribute truth-clarification materials. As a result, more than twenty practitioners in Ganyu County were arrested.
Of those arrested, six practitioners were sent to forced labor camps and six sentenced to from three to nine and a half years in prison. Practitioners Liu Li, Jiang Xiujuan, and Yang Fang were sentenced to three years of imprisonment.
Policemen He Congbin, Li Zhaoxue, and Sun Chenghua, and policewoman Yaoling ransacked practitioners' homes, and used interrogation, deception and temptation to ruthlessly persecute and try to force practitioners into admitting that they distributed materials containing information on Falun Gong. The police even falsified evidence to convict the practitioners. Policeman Li Zhaoxue made up testimonies people did not give, and he fabricated testimonies of so-called witnesses who did not even live in Xinzhuang Village.
After the police sent the fabricated evidence to the court, Chen Qingtai and other people who worked at the court continuously postponed the trial, fearing that the practitioners would appeal their case. Wang Baoming, head of the County Court, called Fan Qun, a deputy-administrator of the Middle Level Court of Lianyungang City, and reported that the case against the practitioners was not strong enough, and asked Fan Qun not to verify the verdict if the practitioners appealed. Later, Ganyu County Court issued a verdict on the afternoon of September 30, right before the National Day holiday. The court didn't give the verdict to the practitioners' lawyer, but instead to the practitioners involved in the case, who did not have experience in the legal system. As a result, the practitioners missed the deadline for appealing their case. In addition, the Ganyu County Court held onto the appeals documents and did not turn them over to the City Court. They wanted to wait until the end of the year to give the City Court the practitioners' appeals papers so that there would not be much time left for a retrial.
Generally, the case files should be given to the City Court within ten days after the first verdict was given. However, the Ganyu County Court didn't turn in the files until 40 days later. Fan Qun, the deputy-administrator of the City Court told the practitioners that it was getting close to the end of the year and there was not enough time for a retrial. Instead, he said that he would have a discussion with the trial committee. However, Fan Qun did not meet with the trial committee, fearing that they might overturn the case after reviewing all the evidence. Fan and Zhang Niangeng, head of the City Court, instead upheld the first verdict without consulting with anyone. They made the decision in the morning and delivered the verdict in the afternoon, so that the practitioners would not have time to rebut.
The following is an account of what practitioner Yang Fang from Ganyu County of Lianyungang City experienced in the persecution of Falun Gong. She was sentenced to three and a half years and is now detained in a forced labor camp.
At around 3:00 p.m. on April 13, 2005, when I was still at school, the police came and took me to Nanjiao Hotel. Two policemen took turns monitoring me until 6:00 p.m. After they had dinner, they started the interrogation.
Two police officers took turns covering a shift that lasted about six hours. There were three shifts. They continuously interrogated me in order to deprive me of sleep. Police officers Sun Chenghua and Zhang Ming worked the first shift. Sun Chenghua cursed and yelled at me, but I didn't say a word. Then Zhang Ming started to talk nonstop to me until midnight.
The second shift was covered by Li Zhaoxue and a man with the surname Lao from the City Police Department. They continued with the interrogation. Lao from the City Police Department didn't say much. Li Zhaoxue, however, began to talk to me in a caring manner, asking about my family. He kept saying that his elder brother was a classmate of my fiancè, that Falun Gong practitioners were good people, and that the police wouldn't do anything to them. Then he said, "Please tell me what you did." I replied, "I didn't do anything illegal." He then wrote down four Chinese characters, "Technology Assists the Police." He said, "Think about the meaning of these words." I told him I didn't know the meaning. He replied, "Don't you know it's the technology age? We have a satellite at the City Police Department that can detect whatever you do when you go out at night. We know very well what you have done. We just want to give you the chance to speak up to prove to us that you are sincere. Then we can speak for you and let you go home." I then told him, "Since you already have the best technology, what do you need from me? Why don't you do an analysis of what you've detected and deal with it?"
Then Li Zhaoxue changed his tactic and he mentioned several names, asking if I knew who they were. I said, "No." He told me that these people whose name he mentioned, confessed everything they knew to the police and were released the same day.
On the third night when Li Zhaoxue came to interrogate me again, he used various methods to deceive and coax me into cooperating with him. At that time, my mind wa s not clear because I had not slept for three straight days. I was also thinking of my child at home alone and preparing for his exams to get into junior high school. I wanted to go home, so I answered his questions, believing what he said to me. He told me, "Even if you tell us what you did, we cannot sentence you without proof. Besides, I live in the same village as your fiancè and Chief He also knows him. If you work with us, we can speak on your behalf so that you will be able to go home early." I asked, "What do you want me to say?"
Li Zhaoxue said, "About distributing Falun Gong materials, how many copies did you distribute? Which villages did you go to? What were the contents of the materials?" I said, "I only went out to distribute twice, each time about a dozen copies. I don't know the exact number, nor do I know the name of the villages. Other practitioners gave me a ride on their motorcycles. The content was about the truth of the self-immolation incident." He told me that they found some VCDs and brochures that were distributed. I had no idea about them, but thought that if I admitted to them, they would take it as my being cooperative and let me go home early. Since I didn't distribute the VCDs or brochures, I thought they wouldn't have any evidence to sentence me.
Li Zhaoxue wrote on a piece of paper names of villages and that I distributed more than a thousand copies of truth-clarification materials. I told him that I never went to that many villages nor did I distribute that many materials. He then made some changes on the numbers. He said, "The numbers are not important. What matters is your attitude." I asked him, "Why didn't you write down what I had said in your report? Are you adding the amount up and putting it all under my name?" He smiled and said, "I did it for you to be able to go home early. The more you confess, the bigger your contribution." He then asked me where I got the materials. I didn't tell him it was from another practitioner. Instead, I told him I made them myself. As to the amount of materials distributed, Li Zhaoxue did a lot of calculation before finalizing the numbers down on paper.
At that time, I thought he was being ridiculous. However, now I know how naive I truly was. Although I had a college education, I did not have much legal knowledge. I knew I would never do anything against the law, so I never spent time studying it. In addition, I cared little for the sophisticated tricks people played in society. I usually think well of people. I didn't realize that how many materials I distributed was a critical issue. I did not suspect that they would deliberately make my case into a big one so they could get a bonus. They fabricated the testimony as well as the evidence, since they got my "confession" through deception.
Later, Zhang Ming and Sun Chenghua took over the interrogation. At that time, my brain was numb and I couldn't figure out what they were talking about. I only remembered that I had copied some sentences that Li Zhaoxue wrote and signed my name. Later, an older man from the City Police Department and someone from Ganyu interrogated me again. I didn't remember what I said. It went on like that until the afternoon of the fourth day. It was April 16, 2005. Eventually, they asked me to sign a warranty and sent me directly to the custody center.
Later I wanted to overturn my so-called "confession" and asked some inmates, but they told me there was no use doing that. The police would only label me with "bad attitude." In order to go home early and maintain a "good attitude" status, I dismissed the idea of overturning my confession.
In May, Zhang Ming and Sun Chenghua came to interrogate me again. I remembered Zhang Ming saying, "You have a very good attitude. We are here just to verify the information. It's only formality." I said, "Didn't you get what you want?" Zhang Ming asked again how many copies of the materials I distributed. I said, "Don't you have the number on file?" So he copied the numbers from the thick pile of documents. Then he suddenly asked, "Did you put the materials in plastic bags?" I said "No." He became immediately silent. Now I realized that they were making up the numbers, adding the amount of materials they discovered and putting it under my name. Their purpose was to put all the cases together so that they could get a big reward. Later, people from the prosecutor's office came to interrogate me twice. They also copied the numbers from the files prepared by the police department. Hence, I didn't know I was deceived until I received the accusation letter.
In court, I overturned my testimony. But they continued with the trial according to the record of my first confession. The testimony they got from other witnesses were also fabricated. One testimony said that someone saw two women one night; one was 5' 4" tall, and the other one was 5' 3". In fact, we only put several copies of the truth-clarification materials by the entrance of the village. I remembered that no one was around at that time. In the middle of the night, how could any one clearly tell the height of a person? This is how the police fabricated evidence to set me up.

Nanmusi Women's Labor Camp in Zizhong City, Sichuan Province, has a seventh team that was specially set up for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners on June 20, 2000. As ordered by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s persecution policy, deputy labor camp chief Wu and discipline section chiefs Zhang and Li Zhiqing instigated the team leader, Zhang Xiaofang , Li Qi, and some other guards to slander Falun Gong with audiotapes, videotapes, VCDs, newspapers, magazines, and video materials. They use these things to try to brainwash Falun Gong practitioners and poison them. Practitioners who refuse to cooperate and refuse to be "transformed" are tortured. The guards lock them in small cells; beat and curse them; torture them with electric shocks; hang them up; force-feed them water, food, and even feces; bind their legs in the double-crossed position; the tiger bench; force them to stand in military posture; force them to stand in the sizzling sun; drag them along the ground; deprive them of food, sleep, and the right to use the restroom; and force them to perform slave labor. Many people died, numerous people were injured and disabled, and thousands of people were forced to "transform." Nanmusi is an outright living hell.
Ms. Wang Hongxia is from Anyue. Because she steadfastly believes in "Truthfulness, Benevolence-Forbearance," the guards brutally tortured her. They shocked her many times with electric batons, locked her in the solitary cell, force-fed her with water, and forced her to sit on the tiger bench.
Ms. Yue Li is from Longchang. She was forced to stand in military posture, sit in military posture, and squat. In the severe cold of winter they forced her to stand outdoors for a couple of days. She was deprived of movement and sleep, and the guards even prohibited her from going to the toilet. Besides this, the guards still humiliated her, slandered her and cursed her. They said that if she needed to go the restroom, she was to use the rice bowls of the "untransformed" Falun Gong practitioners.
Ms. Su Shihui is from Guanghan. She was locked up in a small cell many times. The guards handcuffed her in various postures. Sometimes they even handcuffed her and hung her up. They also forced her to cross her legs and bound her calves with rope. Her hands were handcuffed at the back or in the front. The guards said that was let her to do the "exercise."
Ms. Han Jie from Leshan City was forced to cross her legs and was tied for three days and nights. Ms. Wu Houyu is from Luzhou. The guards prohibited her from washing or showering for several months. Eight people grabbed her and hauled her over the uneven floor in turn. Her trousers were torn open and her underwear was ripped to pieces. The lower part of her body was badly injured, and the floor was smeared with blood. After that, they forced her to be a "rooster standing"--to stand on only one foot and raise the other one. She was ordered to keep steady. If she moved a little bit, the guards would beat and kick her with their heavy shoes and twist her arms behind her back. Her whole body was swollen and one can hardly find any area on her body with normal, healthy skin. Several times, she lost consciousness when the guard punished her by making her stand under the eaves.
In March 2003, Ms. Ai Kexiu, a practitioner detained in the 2nd team, reported to Li Zhiqing from the discipline section how inmates Zhang Xiaofang and Mao Yukun had persecuted her. After that Zhang Xiaofang and Mao Yukun began to abuse Ms. Ai even more brutally. Every noon and evening they handcuffed her to the poles of two iron beds and stretched her in four different directions until midnight. Then she would be allowed to sleep for a while with her hands tightly handcuffed on the end of the bed. The two guards kept on torturing Ms. Ai Kexiu like this until her sentence term was over.
As for the "untransformed" practitioners, the guards force-fed each one four kilograms of water plus three small bowls of soup everyday or one big cup of water or soup every two hours. The capacity of one cup was about one pound. Sleeping, urinating, or defecating were all prohibited. When the practitioners' winter clothes and winter covers consequently became completely sodden, the urine leaked onto the floor. The guards then made them buy a broom to clean the floor. The "monitors" threw away all the urine-soaked clothes and covers. For instance, all the clothes belonging to Ms. Fu Liqiong from Chengdu City were thrown out. Ms. Fu Tianlu, a head nurse in the hospital affiliated with the Ziyang 431 Factory that belonsg to Railway Department, was force-fed water. Because the guards prohibited her from going to toilet, she suffered so much that she lost consciousness at last. The guard, Mao Yukun, was so inhumane that she proudly stood at the door of the 7th team office and she said in a sarcastic tone, "Eight cups of water was good for your health."
In the 7th team of the labor camp, Zhang Xiaofang persecuted practitioners everywhere she went. Even the feces ditch was utilized to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Ms. Ma Qingchun from Nanchong was tortured like this. Guards Huang, Liao and Zhang stuffed her mouth with a dirty rag and sealed it with tape. Then they pushed her down into the feces ditch. After that they tore off the tape, handcuffed her to a tree, and smeared feces on her face.
Ms. Zhou Huimin from Chengdu was also forced to stand in the feces ditch. Those steadfast practitioners were also forced to stand in the yard in the hottest period of summer. Ms. Lu Jian and some other practitioners were, against their will, "transformed" under this sort of persecution.
The authorities' behavior indicated that they completely disregarded the lives of those steadfast practitioners. Zhang Xiaofang and Li Qi instigated the drug addict Feng Ping from Yibin to beat practitioner Ms. Zhang Siqing from Chengdu with an iron club. Finally Ms. Zhang was beaten to the point that she passed out. Ms. Hua Miyi from Panzhihua was beaten so hard that she became crippled. Because Ms. Zhu Yunfang, a practitioner in her 50s from Chengdu, refused to be "transformed," Zhang Xiaofang instigated some criminal offenders to brutally beat her in the bathroom. They kicked and stomped on her chest and abdomen with heavy shoes. With a heartrending scream, Ms. Zhu Yufang was tortured to death.
There were also some practitioners who were tortured to near-death and passed away soon after being carried home by relatives. They were: Ms. Wu Shicui from Fangshi; Ms. Deyang; Ms. Li Yangfang, in her 50s, from Wenjiang in Chengdu; Ms. Jiang Jiyu, in her 50s, from Bi Count; and so on. Those who were tortured to disability or mental disorder were: Ms. Hu Ruilian from Leshan, Ms. Luo Junling from Huili, Ms. Zhu Xia from Chendu, and Ms. Gao Yan whose hometown is Chengdu but worked inLeshan.
The brutal persecution forced thousands of people to be "transformed." The guards not only persecuted those "untransformed" practitioners but also kept on persecuting the people whom they thought were not thoroughly "transformed." Since 2002 Zhang Xiaofang had adopted Mao Yukun's wicked plan to order all the "transformed" people to swear at Teacher and Falun Gong many times every day. This method was executed all around the 7th team. Those who refused to cooperate would not be allowed to use the restroom or sleep.
Ms. Xu Ping and a short woman named Ms. Zhou Zhengfeng from Panzhihua could not endure the persecution any more and were "transformed." But Zhang Xiaofang still forced the two to do heavy labor day and night, either in the yard or, in extremely cold weather, in a work cell, which was specially set up for the people who did not totally transform as evaluated by Zhang Xiaofang. They could not go to sleep until 2 or 3 a.m. and sometimes they had to work almost the whole night. At 6 a.m. they still had to get up and go to work immediately. They even had no time even to comb their hair. Once when Ms. Zhou Zhengfeng was hurrying to comb her hair, Zhang Xiaofang happened to see it. With a great anger, she went to give Ms. Zhou Zhengfeng a blow. But she did not aim well, missed Zhang, lost her balance, and fell on the floor. When a practitioner came to help her up, Zhang Xiaofang not only did not offer any thanks but also accused Falun Gong of "beating people." She railed at the practitioner who helped her, saying that she should not pull her up but, instead, should hold Ms. Zhou Zhengfeng so that Zhang Xiaofang could beat her.
They used innumerable methods of torture, and the number of the people they tortured was simply huge: I could not count every one of them. All I have revealed is just a small fraction of what goes on in the camp.
Because Zhang Xiaofang followed the orders of the CCP and Jian's group well, the 7th team was praised as one of the 20 "advanced units" in the national judicial system in 2000, and Zhang Xiaofang herself was praised as one of the "ten most outstanding youth of China" that year. When the deputy chief of the labor camp, Wu, cheerfully brought back the trophy that was smeared with the tears and blood of Falun Gong practitioners, Zhou Xiaofang saw the trophy as a precious award. If anyone even touched it, she was very unhappy. As detained practitioners continually revealed the truth and exposed the persecution, Zhang was transferred out of the 7th team in November 2004.
Now there were only about 50 practitioners still detained in the 7th team. The new leader's name is Ren, and the deputy leaders are Wu Yuhui and Xu. These new guards didn't stop the Zhang Xiaofang-style torture methods. Instead, they themselves adopted even more savage methods to continue to persecute Falun Gong practitioners.
Ms. Lv Feiyuan, who had been as thin as a skeleton, was again locked in the small cell. Ms. Jiang Yongfang fainted three times during torture and was also denied use of the toilet. She had to soil her own trousers. Because of the persecution Ms. Jiang developed the symptoms of hypertension and heart disease and even became delirious at times. Because the guards were afraid to assume the responsibility, they finally released her.
Ms. Luo Shuizhen is being locked in the small cell and subjected to torture. Ms. Li Fengqi and some other practitioners are still suffering persecution at the hands of the guards. The practitioners who are steadfast and constant in their belief in "Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance" are Yang Taiying and Tang Tianming from Naxi Luzhou and Zhu Yuehui from Huarong.
The facts above are but a small fraction of the cases of persecution
in
Sichuan Women's Forced Labor Camp.

Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Pan Xuecheng, 70 years old, lived in the Fourth Group of the Shuijiangwenwu Village, in Xinjin County, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. Prior to practicing Falun Gong, Mr. Pan had diabetes and heart disease, and thus lost the ability to work. After beginning to practice Falun Gong in June 1997, he gradually recovered, and became healthy with a rosy complexion. He no longer needed to take medicine, he was able to do farm work, and changed into a totally new person.
Pan Xuecheng went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong in the autumn of 2000, and was illegally arrested by policemen in Chengdu City. Local government officials came to his home, took away his Falun Gong books, and extorted five hundred yuan.
After January 24, 2001 (the Chinese New Year), Mr. Pan was reported and arrested and detained for 45 days in the Wujin Police Station. Upon being released, he was arrested and taken to the Township Government to be interrogated. In 2004, Mr. Pan was working an overnight security job, but he was reported, chased, and body searched by the Chinese Communist Party Secretary Wei Zhongquan (male).
Under long-term persecution, the elderly Mr. Pan's mental and
physical health
was severely damaged. His old sicknesses came back, causing his lung to
fester
and he was vomiting blood. He died on September 27, 2005.

Ms. Dong Fuyun from Anyang City, Henan Province, persecuted to death
Ms. Dong Fuyun, who was approximately 60 years old, was a retiree of the Beiguan Grain Shop in Anyang City, Henan Province. Ms. Dong lived in the Beiguan Grain Shop residential area on Beacon Road. She obtained Fa in 1996 and practiced whole-heartedly all the time. When the persecution began on July 20, 1999, she went to Beijing to clarify the truth and appeal for Falun Gong. She was illegally arrested and sent home. In October of that same year, she went to Beijing to clarify the truth again. She died after surgery on her skull.
According to her family, Ms. Dong had gone to hand out truth clarification materials at about 8 p.m. that night, February 17. When doctors examined her, they found truth clarifying materials on her. At that moment, policemen from the National Security Bureau or the Beiguan Police Station went to her home to search and took away more materials. After the surgery, Ms. Dong Fuyun died that night. The hospital said she had had a cerebral hemorrhage but could not determine the cause. Her family said her health had been good and that she did not have any illnesses.
