From May 20-27, 2006, the International "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" Fine Arts Exhibition was held in the City Town Hall of Perth City, Western Australia. During the exhibition, almost every visitor signed his name to support Falun Gong. Visitors supported practitioners' anti-persecution actions and they all said that the persecution is an unacceptable nightmare of human rights. Many visitors learned the exercises at the exhibition hall. They said that they felt the beauty of the art works and the miracle of practicing Falun Gong.
Visitors learn the truth
The City Town Hall of Perth is in downtown Perth, is 150 years old, and is one of the landmarks in Perth. There were forty works of art at the exhibition, which were painted by fifteen artists, who are all Falun Gong practitioners. The artworks were all Western paintings. The exhibition consists of four sections: "The Beauty of Falun Gong Practice," "Uncompromising Courage," "Calling for Justice," and "Justice Prevails." The exhibition displays the spread and the persecution of Falun Gong, and the uncompromising spirit of the many Falun Gong practitioners who clarify the truth, exposing the brutal persecution of Falun Gong.
At the opening, Senator Ruth Webber said, "These works have high art values, but what people should pay more attention to is the real human rights violations in China, which are displayed by those art works."
Falun Gong practitioner Yam, who just arrived in Australia from China, told visitors that she and many Falun Gong practitioners in China have been illegally arrested many times for practicing Falun Gong. In 2000, she was illegally sentenced to two years in a forced labor camp, and was jailed with Zhao Ming and Zeng Zheng. During an interview by a local TV station, Yam explained the art work Force-Feeding with her own experience.

On the last day of the exhibition, a young Chinese mother came with a six or seven year-old child. When the young mom talked to practitioners after seeing all the art works, the child was standing in front of the paintings. Finally, the child came to the mother, and practitioners found that the child was crying. The art works not only shocked the adults and made them think, but also opened the enlightened side of the children.
The art exhibition will tour in Western Australia, and will be held in Albany next month. The art exhibition and the spirit of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" will spread to every corner of Western Australia.
On a sunny bright spring day, Germany's border city Fuerth welcomed the "Journey of Falun Gong Photo Exhibition" in the Wald City Hall. The Mayor and Director of Culture, Mr. Ochsenmeier, took time out of his busy schedule to attend the exhibition's opening ceremony. Mr. Roemer from Germany's International Human Rights Organization, (Internationalen Gesellschaft für Menschenrechte) also showed up to support practitioners' protest against the persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Two reporters from the local newspaper conducted an interview.
The opening ceremony reflected the peace and righteousness of the exhibition. The Mayor's speech praised China's traditional culture, respected the moral values of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" advocated by Falun Gong, and condemned the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party. He also hoped that the photo exhibition would bring the truth to more people.

Mr. Roemer of IGFM revealed again during his speech the orders issued by former CCP leader Jiang Zemin to persecute Falun Gong practitioners: "Discredit their reputations, destroy them financially and eliminate their bodies." At the same time he said that he admired Falun Gong practitioners for risking their lives in such an evil environment to tap into national TV stations controlled by the CCP, letting the Chinese people learn the valuable truth.

After the speeches, Falun Gong practitioners candidly exchanged views with the Mayor and reporters. A reporter even suggested that the recently elected Mayor learn the Falun Gong exercises to relieve pressure from work. The city government was beset with financial difficulties at that time. Even so, the Mayor still extended a helping hand to Falun Gong practitioners and offered the City Hall for the photo exhibition without charge. Practitioners expressed gratitude for this.
Falun Gong practitioners showed the mayor around the photo exhibition. After the Mayor saw photos of the Chinese traditional dances and paper lotus flowers made by practitioners, he mentioned right away that the paper lotus practitioners gave him has been on his office desk ever since. A Falun Gong practitioner told him with a smile that the lotus would bring good fortune to him.
