 I am a Falun Gong practitioner from Ganan County Jilin Province. I started to practice Falun Gong in 1997. One of my friends told me that Falun Gong is great and loaned me the book. After reading it, I found that Falun Gong is truly amazing and I finally understood the truth of life. I benefited greatly from Falun Gong.

Since July 20, 1999 when the persecution of Falun Gong began, I felt like the sky had fallen down. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecuted us in the most evil way. Falun Gong practitioners were beaten, arrested, sent to the forced labor camp and sentenced. I knew from my heart that Falun Gong is great and I was not wrong practicing "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance."

At about 7 a.m. one morning in February 2001, Yang Xiujun and other policemen from the Third Police Sub-Station in Ganan County drove to my home. They lured me from home to the police station by saying I had to attend a meeting held there and could be back in a short while. When I arrived at the police sub-station, I saw two other practitioners who had been lured there by the police as well. They hadn't even had breakfast. After a while, they drove us to the Finance and Accounting School, where we found out that it was a brainwashing class organized by Gao Weiguang from the 610 Office and Zhang Xilong from Ganan County Police Department. All those who were enticed there were not allowed to go home. The next day the Deputy Governor Lin Yanzhi came to the brainwashing class. He bellowed madly and said whoever didn't write a Guarantee Statement would be sent to a forced labor camp.

On October 31, 2001 when I was distributing truth-clarifying materials, policeman Wang Xiaodong saw me and arrested me. Officials from the county police department sentenced me to one year in a forced labor camp and sent me to the Heizhuizi Labor Camp in Changchun. The wardens there appeared decent on the surface but behind the scenes they did evil things with utmost cruelty and with no mercy at all.

Instigated by the Group Leader Wang Limei and led by the team leader, the wardens used all sorts of methods to threaten the practitioners and didn't give them any sleep if they didn't write the Repentance Statement. Practitioners were forced to work for sixteen or seventeen hours a day. If they couldn't finish the job or refused to cooperate, the wardens shocked them with electric batons. Swearing and beating were the wardens' usual practices.

My husband has been persecuted to death. I am writing the facts of persecution based on my memory. In December 2001 my husband went to Beijing to appeal. He was sentenced to one year in a forced labor camp. He was brutally tortured and persecuted in the Jiutai Labor Camp and contracted severe liver disease as a result. In order to shift the responsibility, the policemen and the prison doctor sent him home 6 months later on June 4, 2001. He was on bail for medical treatment. The doctors said that he could only live two or three months. But after coming back, my husband started to practice and study Falun Gong teaching again, and he recovered quickly.

Zhao Yanhai and Yuan Ye from the Political Security Section of the police department often came to harass us. Just before the Eve of the Chinese New Year in 2001, Zhang Xilong and other policemen from No 3 Police Sub-Station ransacked our home like thieves would do. They didn't find anything. They tried to force my husband to sign the "Repentance Statement". We didn't cooperate with them. They then took my husband away to the police sub-station. He still didn't cooperate with them. Zhang Xilong got so angry that he poured his glass of water on my husband's head. The next day my husband was sent to the police department. During the interrogation, Yuan Ye slapped my husband in the face twice. He was detained for fifteen days.

In March 2002 a group of policemen came to ransack our home again. They found a small Falun Gong book and then took my husband away without giving any reason. They said my husband would be detained. After ten days or so, he was sentenced to two years in a forced labor camp and we were not given a reason. They didn't even have a warrant. At that time I was in the forced labor camp. There was only my younger son left at home. All of our other family members didn't know what had happened until later on.

My husband was brutally persecuted in the Jiutai Labor Camp and his liver disease relapsed. Six months later he was released on bail for medical treatment. Sun Haijie, the policemen in charge of our area, often came to harass us, which caused a heavy psychological burden on us. This time my husband dared not practice or study Falun Gong teachings. There was no freedom for him. His health worsened. He passed away on November 28, 2004.

Here I expose the CCP's evil deeds to the world and let the world's people know its true nature of "committing all evils". Please wake up and do not take part in these crimes, for Heaven will not tolerate this. Good will be rewarded with good and evil will be punished.

 Guo Yuming, Sub-Team Leader under the National Security Group of Chifeng City Police Department, Inner Mongolia, stayed in Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province, for three days to monitor Falun Gong practitioners. He and local policemen mobilized six or seven police cars, leaped over a wall and broke into a resident's home near the Balibao Small Bridge. They arrested eight Falun Gong practitioners and a four-year-old little girl by force. Wang Xiaodong, a Falun Gong practitioner from Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, was among them. After his arrest, he went on a hunger strike to protest the illegal detention. He was force fed in the Wuyuan County Labor Camp in Bameng, Inner Mongolia.

Mr Wang Xiaodong has been persecuted many times. He lived with his retired mother and had a tough life. He was forced to go to other places in order to make a living. After he was arrested on June 3, 2006, he was sent directly to the Tumuji Labor Camp located in the Eastern Part of Inner Mongolia where Falun Gong practitioners are severely persecuted. But they refused to accept him. He was then sent to the Wuyuan County Forced Labor Camp located in Western Inner Mongolia. They didn't go through any legal procedures nor did they notify his family.

When Wang Xiaodong was walking on Changqing Street in Hongshan District, Chifeng City at about 10 a.m. on November 22, 2005, the policemen from the National Security Group and Hongshan District arrested him. On the same day they arrested Yan Li, a Falun Gong practitioner from Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, who stayed temporarily with Wang Xiaodong. On December 7, 2005, Yan Li's family were shocked to learn that Yan Li had been persecuted to death. The National Security Group in Hongshan District under the National Security Group in Chifeng city tried to frame him for a heavy sentence by providing full-scale evidence. The procuratorate, however, rejected the case twice. He was then sent to a forced labor camp but the labor camp in Tumuji refused to accept him. He was detained nevertheless. Because of his continuous hunger strike and support from the outside world to protest the persecution, the National Security Group notified his family to take him home several days later.

It has been over fifty days since Wang Xiaodong was illegally arrested on June 3, 2006 and started his hunger strike to protest the persecution. At the moment he is being force fed in the Wuyuan County Forced Labor Camp in Bameng, Inner Mongolia.

Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Xin Minduo lives at the Liaohe Petroleum Field in Panjin City, Liaoning Province. Currently he is on hunger strike in the Nanshan Prison located in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province to protest his illegal detention. He is now force-fed by guards, very weak, and his life is in danger.

Mr. Xin Minduo and his wife Bai Juncen (also a practitioner) were both arrested on August 3, 2005, and have been inhumanly tortured. On September 12, 2005, they were sentenced to 13 and 12 years in prison respectively by the Xinglongtai District Court in Panjin City. Mr. Xin Minduo has been in the Nanshan Prison since February 21, 2006. Ms. Bao Juncen has been bailed out but is still on parole after being tortured for eight months in the Panjin City Detention Center.

In early June 2006, Mr. Xin Minduo went on hunger strike to protest, and the strike has lasted to this day. When his family tried to visit him in mid-July, they were deprived of their rights.

In mid-June 2006, four people from Nanshan Prison came to Mr. Xin Minduo's home and told his father that Mr. Xin Minduo was on hunger strike, and he would have an extended term and be transferred to Shenyang City if he refused to quit striking.

Mr. Xin Minduo has been arrested, detained, and sentenced multiple times in the past years just because he believed in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and being a better person. All of the mistreatment has brought huge damage to his family, both mentally and financially. His parents are very old, and the family never told his father about how he is being tortured. The sudden information caused his father's blood pressure to go up to 190mmHg. He could not bear such an attack, and it was as if a cloud covered his eyes. He could not see.

Mr. Xin Minduo is in a critical condition, but the administration of the Nanshan Prison refuses to release him, and threatens to extend his term or transfer him to Shenyang City.

 61-year-old Ms. Chen Peizhu lives at 30 South Minsheng Street, Longlin County, Guangxi Province. When she was young, she contracted polio and had muscular atrophy in the right leg. She could not walk, and crawled on the ground. When she grew up, she had several major surgeries. Her pelvis and leg could be upright only with the support of a steel board. It was very hard for her to walk.

Since she started to practice Falun Gong, her problem improved a lot. Previously, she walked with a crutch or with others' help. Now she can walk a kilometer by herself without crutch. She is even able to make living by doing some small business. In 1998, when the county suffered the worst flood disaster in 100 years, she donated items valued at 420 yuan to disaster areas even though she was not rich. It was because she felt she benefited from practicing Falun Gong and she should help other fellow villagers in disaster areas. The fact that a disabled woman was able to do this had very a big effect in the local area. Some reporters went to interview her, intending to report that what she did was a result of the CCP's education. Ms. Chen Peizhu frankly told them that her actions were because she practiced Falun Gong, as the practice of Falun Gong can lead human hearts to kindness and improve morality. She also told the reporters that if they could not report the truth, they should not make a false report.

On November 18, 2002, Ms. Chen Peizhu was arrested and secretly held in the Nation Hotel because she clarified the truth to the public. During the interrogation, the police cursed her. She stood by holding onto a table, but the police kicked her down to the ground. She gradually stood up and was kicked to the ground again.

In order to destroy her will, the police covered her eyes with cloth and drove her around town once, then they threatened to send her to a labor camp in Baise. Despite their ruthless tactics, she did not give up her belief in Falun Gong. Therefore, she was illegally sentenced to four years' imprisonment; yet many prisons refused to accept her because of her disability, so she was detained in the Longlin County Detention Center. The prison cell was very cold and damp. Six months later, she felt a lot of pain in the waist and legs. She could not move at all, and neither could she use the toilet by herself. Under such a condition, the police department had to release her. Through practicing Falun Gong, she quickly recovered and could take care of herself.

On the night of June 4, 2006, about a dozen policemen broke into her home, illegally searched her home, and arrested her. The police shouted: "Chen Peizhu, we will keep you in prison forever." To date, Ms. Chen Peizhu has been detained for more than a month. The 610 Office and the police department staff do not allow her family members to visit her and block any information about her coming from the detention center.

Zhuhai City's CCP Political and Judiciary Committee and 610 Office staff secretly established a brainwashing center in the Tangjia Garrison of  Zhuhai City, Guanzhou Military Region. Falun Gong practitioner Ms. He Zhiwei is now detained there. She was recently illegally arrested.

On the morning of June 15, 2006, He Zhiwei was arrested by the resident committee director Li, Zhuhai, 610 Office staff, and police near her apartment building. They sent her to the Army Reception House for brainwashing.

He Zhiwei resisted the persecution by going on hunger strike for six days. Six thugs held her down and force-fed her using a half-inch thick tube, making it impossible for her to breathe. She is now being held in the brainwashing room around the clock.

He Zhiwei's mother is 80 years old. She is so worried that she cannot sleep or eat. This frail old woman walked to the CCP Political and Judiciary Committee, the CCP's Congress, the City 610 Office, the police department and the community committee to try to rescue her innocent daughter. But the CCP Political and Judiciary Committee of Zhuhai City and Xiangzhou District told her to go ask the other party and fooled the woman.

He Zhiwei has been arrested many times. She was abused in Zhuhai Brainwashing Center, Sanshui Women's Forced Labor Camp, and Guangdong Brainwashing Center for four years. Zhuhai 610 Office staff, police and the community committee staff frequently harassed her, and instigated her work unit to financially persecute He Zhiwei.
