The following photos show the clothes that Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Gao Rongrong wore on May 7, 2004 when she was shocked with electric batons. Before the electric shock torture, Tang Yubao, deputy head of the Number Two Group in Longshan Labor Camp, Shenyang, instigated criminal offender Bi Shuhua and others to beat Ms. Gao. Most of the practitioners imprisoned in Longshan Labor Camp were forced to wear clothes like the one in the photos.

The entrances of the hospital's Department of Orthopedics, the Medical University and the Emergency Department. Ms. Gao was detained on the third floor after she was rearrested on June 6, 2005. She was tortured to death here on June 16, 2005.
Looking at the clothes, I recall Ms. Gao's vivid smiling face.
Such a good person was tortured to death by the Jiang and Luo scoundrel
faction. Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan will be brought to justice.

Mr. Sang Chuan, 35 years of age and a graduate student, is a doctor of internal medicine at Huadong Hospital, which is affiliated with Jiamusi University.
On March 23, 2005, he was lecturing on tracheotomy in an extended education class. He discussed about the fallacies of the "Tiananmen Self-Immolation" and exposed the fact that Jiang's regime framed and slandered Falun Gong. Students who have been deceived by the CCP propaganda reported him to the authorities of the university. Later, the Security Office reported him to the 610 Office in Jiamusi University. Jiamusi University then reported him to the city 610 Office. Chen Wanyou from the Jiamusi Police Department and Cui Jianguo, Deputy Director of the Xiangyang Branch, led more than ten subordinates to arrest Sang Chuan and ransacked his home. They took away his computers, a laser printer, a color printer, and a CD burner. On July 12, 2005, an illegal trial was secretly held, and he was sentenced to 3-7 years of imprisonment.
Sang Chuan is widely regarded as a good doctor. Prior to his
arrest, his colleagues unanimously selected him as a candidate for the
"Excellent Doctor" award. There were only two physicians who won this
honor. Sang Chuan is known as a good person by those who know him. His
arrest and imprisonment shocked many who heard the news. The
perpetrators also brought tremendous harm to his family members while
persecuting Sang Chuan. His father was so gravely concerned that he
fell ill. His mother has severe heart disease and her health has
declined badly after his arrest. As a result of his parents' failing
health, his grandmother, 96 years of age, is being left without good
care.

Mr. Fu Hongwei, a Falun Gong practitioner from Shulan City, was persecuted in Shiling Prison in Siping City. He firmly resisted the evil persecution and acted with righteous faith. He refused to follow any of the requirements of the perpetrators such as wearing prison uniforms and reciting the prison rules. Mr. Fu Hongwei began to protest against the persecution by going on a hunger strike. Although his family members requested many times to see him, the authorities in the prison did not let them visit while Mr. Fu Hongwei was detained in the prison from 2003 to July 2005.
On July 11, 2005, six practitioners from both cities helped Fu Hongwei's sister Fu Dongmei to persist in asking to see her brother. The police at the reception said that Fu Hongwei was not allowed to see his family members as he was a Falun Gong practitioner who did not follow the rules as required by the prison. Fu Dongmei said, "We haven't been able to see each other for over two years. I don't know whether he is dead or alive. I won't let this matter go unresolved should anything happen to him." The police at the reception said, "Then you should go see the prison authorities yourselves."
The practitioners and Fu's sister went to see those in charge of the administrative section. Director Lu, who is in charge of the visiting room, said, "This time, I will let you see him, as you didn't know the specific visiting dates before you came to see me. If you do this again next time, I have the right to punish you." One practitioner said, "This is not our fault since we don't know your telephone number and are unable to call you." Lu said, "Our telephone number is confidential." Then, he led us to the visiting room. The guards said that Fu Hongwei could not see us because he would not cooperate with them.
Director Lu asked again, "Are there any family members who practice Falun Gong?" One Falun Gong practitioner responded, "Who do you mean? We are his family members, here making a routine visit. What does that have anything to do with this?" Lu knew that he was wrong, and then excused himself by saying that it wasn't a visiting day. We said, "Could you accommodate us since it is not easy for us to come here from a place far away?" Finally, he agreed to let us meet Fu Hongwei after our repeated requests. However, we were asked to show our ID cards and no more than three visitors were allowed to see him.
At 4:05 p.m., two prison wards escorted
Fu Hongwei to the visiting room. His face appeared swollen. He said
that it was the hormone injection forced upon him before his hunger
strike.

Ms. Li Suyun is 46 years old. She was originally a physician for women and children in Qiaomu Health Hospital of Buyunqiao Town, Qidong County, Hunan Province. She has not been seen since she left a detention center at noon on February 26th, 2000.

On August 10, 2002, several policemen including Wang Yizhang, Shen Zhongguo, and Xiao Hongjun from the Peiying Police Station in Yushu City, Jilin Province, came to my home. Since there wasn't anybody at home at the time, they found out from my neighbor where my sister lived. Two policemen from the national security bureau went to my sister's home, where I was visiting, pried the door open and told her, "There was a gun stolen. We are here to check your ID." They charged into the house and took me by force to the security group headquarters without giving any reason.
At the security group, the police had me sit on an iron chair and cuffed my hands behind my back. While interrogating me, they continued to beat me in an attempt to find out what I had been doing and the whereabouts of my cell phone (while Shi Hailin took notes). When I didn't tell them anything, they stepped on a chain to tighten the handcuffs, causing them to cut into my wrists. This caused my left hand to be numb for more than two months. They used the handle of a pickaxe to hit my shins for more than 30 minutes. They also used it to smash my toes. The nail of the fourth toe on my right foot came off a month later. After they finished beating me, they unlocked the handcuffs and tried a different torture method. They forced my left arm to go over my shoulder and my right arm behind my back and tied my hands together. They then inserted 6 or 7 Coke bottles between my arms and my body, making my arms feel like they were being split open. My whole body was in excruciating pain. Not being satisfied with what they had done, they then unlocked the handcuffs, used a wet towel to tie my hands tighter, and again inserted 6 or 7 Coke bottles as well as the handle of the pickaxe between my arms and body. Two policemen then lifted me up by lifting the handle of the pickaxe. Because I was tied to the iron chair, the chair was lifted up as well. Words cannot describe how much pain I was in.
I was tortured from three in the afternoon until eleven that evening, more than 8 hours. Although I almost lost consciousness, the police did not stop torturing me. An intern at the group, who had tortured me the most, said, "Wait until I am dispatched to the Chungchun Zhaoyang Forced Labor Camp; I'll tidy you up there." I don't know what other types of torture they used on me. My arms were injured everywhere. Many of the wounds took more than two years to heal. For over three years I was unable to lift my arms over my shoulders.
In the late part of January 2003, the Yushu Court brought a suit against me stating I'd be sentenced that August. After I wrote a statement to appeal, Wang Tiemin, the head of the detention center, snatched the statement from me and said to me fiercely, "Use your mouth to appeal." Before the beginning of the court session, Shao Xiaoming, a judge in the Yushu Court, came to the detention center and threatened me, "You will not be allowed to say anything about the injustice against your teacher and Falun Gong. You will only be allowed to answer questions."
At about 4 a.m. on the day court opened, a large group of local military police and bailiffs came. They locked our hands behind our backs and forbade us to sit, talk or raise our heads on our way to the court. The bailiffs were watching videos taken from the trial proceedings of Falun Gong practitioners in the Chungchun Nanguan Court.
During the court session, some practitioners spoke of the injustices and were beaten with electric batons right there in the courtroom. They quickly read the charges and took us back to the detention center.
During the trial, police from the national security group and the Peiying Police Station went to search my home. On the third day, 6 or 7 police officers from the group came to our home again and threatened my mother. They lied to my mother saying that I had given her my cell phone. They told my mother to give them the cell phone or she'd be arrested. Our fourteen-month-old baby was ill and crying incessantly, but they wouldn't give in. My father and sister asked them, "Do you guys have any conscience left at all?" Then, they left.
At about 5 a.m. on November 20, 2003, the police used the same method to take me to court. They read the sentence without any legal procedure. They forbade me from saying anything and quickly took me back to the detention center. Later, I was sent to the Yushu Prison.
Following are the sentences and names of Falun Gong practitioners: Li Lin for 4 years, Yang Zhanjiu for 7 years, Zhao Jisheng for 4 years, Feng Lijun for 3 years, Lu Shulin for 6 years, Zhao Ximin for 3 years, Huang Zhengguo for 6 years, Wang Shiqin for 8 years, Hu Xiqin for 4 years, Yang Daguang for 10 years, Yuan Junfeng for 15 years, and Xu Hongbo for 12 years. All of them were illegally sentenced at various times.
During the whole ruthless persecution, I personally witnessed
the legal system's personnel using outrageous means to treat Falun Gong
practitioners.

The following persecution facts are from the letters sent by practitioners who are illegally imprisoned in the Daqing City Hongweixing Prison. The practitioners have broken through several layers of the information blockade and their letters have gone through several hands. Due to the strict monitoring in the prison and the varying abilities of practitioners to express themselves in writing, the details and the extent of the persecution disclosed here do not quite reflect the reality. They are only the tip of the iceberg. This article does, however, show a glimpse of the darkness and horror in the Daqing Prison.
During the last three months, three Falun Gong practitioners have been tortured to death in the Daqing prison. We hope that international human rights organizations and others can lend a hand to stop the persecution.
1. Mr. Zhang Zhi, Worker at the Daqing Petroleum, Lost his Front Tooth
On June 18, 2003, the Daqing Detention Center illegally sent practitioner Mr. Zhang Zhi, a former worker at Daqing Petroleum, to the Daqing Prison Education Prison Ward for further persecution. On July 20, 2003, Guo Chuntang, director of the Education Reform Division, ordered Cui Zhengui, the captain of a sub-prison ward, to lead inmates from the culture and art team to persecute Zhang. In order to force Zhang to write the guarantee statement and give up the practice, they deprived Zhang of sleep and tortured him for five days. During the day, they dragged Zhang to an auditorium and played music, and asked people to take turns talking to him to prevent him from falling asleep. At night, they used the same method. If Zhang was tired, they poked his ribs with their fingers. If Zhang refused to obey, they punched him in the face. Inmates who participated in the persecution said, "The prison officials said that as long we did not cause any external injuries, we could punish him any way we wanted."
When Zhang was tortured, he told Wang Yingjie, the deputy director of the prison, about it. Wang did nothing to stop it, and the inmates became more arrogant.
At around 9 o'clock on May 12, 2005, Cui Zhengui led all members of the education reform division (except for Guo Chuntang) to force Zhang to wear a prison uniform. Zhang refused, and they ordered the inmates to strip his clothes off and beat him. Afterwards, they locked Zhang in a small cell. Zhang wore thin clothes and he sat and slept on a cold iron slab. The guards would not give Zhang any warm clothes as they were attempting to make him surrender.
Zhang's left ribs were injured from being kicked, and it caused pain for about six weeks. His right ribs were also kicked and he had hard time breathing. After being illegally imprisoned, Zhang went on a hunger strike. The prison staff force-fed him, and knocked out one of his front teeth in the process. The second day Zhang was locked in a small cell, Guo Chuntang went to the cell and ordered Zhang to stand up for a long time. A policeman in the cell tried to stop Guo. Zhang was released from the small cell after eight days, but the authorities would not allow him to leave the prison ward. Sometimes Zhang did not have water and if he protested, the answer he got was, "The prison officials asked us to do this."
Most of the time, the prison police would instigate the inmates to disturb practitioners. For example, not giving them hot water, reducing the amount of food or letting practitioners go hungry, and stealing practitioners' personal belongings.
2. Prison Staff Beat Mr. Liu Zhucai and Broke his Eardrum - Guards and Inmates Force Water Hose into Mr. Li Lizhuang's Rectum
Practitioners Mr. Liu Zhucai and Mr. Jin Sheng passed out Falun Gong fliers in Xingshan Township in Zhaozhou County on February 23, 2002, and police from the Xingshan County Police Station arrested them and sent them to the Zhaozhou County Detention Center. The Zhaozhou County Court sentenced Liu to five years of imprisonment and sent him to the Daqing Prison on August 7, 2002. Mr. Liu experienced many forms of torture for 3 weeks. He was in a "special training camp" which included such tortures as standing up for a long time and other inhumane abuse. The prison sent Liu to the education prison ward on August 27. Tang Huibo, director of psychiatric counseling, did not allow Liu to rest or sleep that night. The next day, Tang ordered inmates to "transform" Liu and they deprived him of rest and sleep for many days. Meanwhile, Guo Chuntang and Shi Huixue, director and deputy director of education reform, pressured Liu many times, until Liu was exhausted in both mind and body, and coerced Liu to write a "guarantee statement".
At 8:00 p.m. on July 24, 2003, Liu Zhucai wished good health in the bathroom to another practitioner Zhang Zhi, who had been deprived of sleep for five days at that time. Cui Zhangui, the officer on duty, beat Liu, breaking his left eardrum. The next day Liu told the director about this incident and was refused any examination or treatment. Now Liu still has many problems in his left ear and his hearing is getting worse. From May 2005 until now, the inmates have taken turns monitoring Liu, and Liu has not had any personal freedom.
Practitioner Mr. Li Lizhuang was sentenced to four years in prison because he persisted in continuing Falun Gong practice. Li was tortured in the first prison ward of the Daqing Prison. Police and inmates deprived him of sleep, beat him, poured cold water on him, and inserted a water hose into his anus. They also broke Li's ribs.
Practitioner Mr. Jia Shenghui lived in Dongfeng New Village in Daqing City. On June 10, 2002, the Daqing City Vice Squad arrested him from his home, handcuffed him to an iron chair for a day, and sent him to the Daqing Detention Center. In September 2002, Jia was illegally sentenced to seven years in prison and was sent to the Daqing Prison's first prison ward, first division on December 4. Jia didn't see any document of indictment or verdict. Jia's wife was also a practitioner and was tortured until half of her body was paralyzed. Her daughter is taking care of her alone at home. Jia suffered tremendously in both body and mind.
Zhu Rui, captain of the third group, openly beat Falun Gong practitioners and ordered four inmates to watch practitioner Deng Qingshan around the clock. Deng was not allowed to leave his cell. Deng had to urinate into a jar and could only go to a toilet for his bowel movement. Deng stayed with four other inmates in a room and was totally isolated from the outside world. Deng was deprived of all personal freedom and rights.
3. Persecution Against Zhang Zidong and Zhang Xiufeng
Practitioner Zhang Zidong went to Beijing in October 1999 to appeal for Falun Gong. Zhang was thus fired from the Harbin Normal University and detained in the Harbin Nangang District Public Safety Bureau for 27 days. On November 9, 2000, Zhang was arrested for printing truth clarifying materials and held in the detention center of the Harbin Daowai District Public Safety Bureau. In July 2001, the Harbin Intermediate Court illegally sentenced Zhang to 12 years and put him in the Harbin Prison in March 2002. In July 2002, Geng Hao, a prison police officer, used despicable means to torture Zhang. Geng arranged for two inmates who were infected with tuberculosis to sleep beside Zhang, and Zhang subsequently suffered from pleurisy, peritonitis, and severe accumulation of fluids in his chest and abdomen. Zhang was hospitalized for 30 days in a Harbin Chest Hospital, where about 13 lbs.of fluid was removed from his chest and abdomen. Zhang had to spend nine months in the Harbin Prison Hospital. His attending physicians were Liu Zhuru, director of the Harbin Chest Hospital, and Huang Yingjun. Other doctors involved in treating Zhang were Liu Mingde, director of the Harbin Prison Hospital, Gao Shihong and Han Hongjun.
On July 1, 2004, Zhang Zidong was transferred to the Daqing Prison. Zhang did the Falun Gong exercises on March 31, 2005, and Gao Chuntang, director of the education reform division, ordered inmates to monitor him closely. The inmates on the night shift would not let Zhang sleep. Zhang went on a hunger strike to protest. On April 1, 2005, when Zhang's mother went to visit him, he exposed the evil conduct in the prison to his mother. That helped to stop the physical abuse. From April 1 to April 7, a feeding tube was inserted into his throat, and he was force-fed twice. Mr. Zhang was traumatized both mentally and physically.
On May 12, 2005, Zhang refused to wear the prison uniform. A prison guard ordered 6 inmates to strip off his clothes, slap him, and step on his eyeglasses. Zhang was then locked in a small isolated room for 8 days, and he was on a hunger strike for the entire duration. He was force fed twice during that time. From May 20 through July 25, Zhang was not allowed to leave the prison ward, go to the dining hall, buy food, or get water. Every day there were two inmates watching his every move.
Practitioner Mr. Zhang Xiufeng worked in a funeral home in Fangzheng County in Harbin before October 6, 2002. At 8:00 p.m. on October 6, 2002, Chou Yongsheng, a police officer from the Fangzheng County Public Safety Bureau National Security, along with other police officers, broke into Zhang's home and forcibly took him away. The police did not show any ID or follow accepted procedures. Six hours later, the police brutally beat Zhang, forced him to sit on a tiger bench, and beat his hands and wrists with a 1-inch-diameter plastic tube. The second joint of the left index finger was swollen. He could not hold any hard objects, and was partially disabled. Because Zhang was forced to sit on the tiger bench for a prolonged period of time, he has had trouble urinating in a standing position and having bowel movements when squatting.
On April 16, 2003, Zhang Xiufeng was sent to the new special training team. Zhang was forced to squat down motionless for a prolonged period of time. He could not withstand the pain, and he moved. An inmate (last name Ma) kicked him on the right side of his ribs and broke them. It took Zhang several months to heal. On May 29, 2003, Zhang was illegally sent to the Harbin Prison. Geng Hao, captain of the 9th group, tortured and threatened him, and forced him to write the three statements renouncing Falun Gong. Sun Guoxiong, captain of a middle team, blackmailed Zhang. Zhang was transferred to the Daqing prison on July 1, 2004. In the Daqing Prison, his freedom to write letters and personal freedoms were restricted. He could only move in a certain area and seldom saw the sun. Sometimes he was not given enough to eat. He could not protest, otherwise he would suffer from all kinds of retaliation.
4. Practitioner Mr. Sun Dianbin and Mr. Li Huifeng Brutally Tortured in the Harbin Prison
Practitioner Mr. Sun Dianbin firmly believed in Falun Gong. The Jixi Court illegally sentenced him to ten years in prison. He was sent to the Harbin Prison on April 12, 2002. Zhang Jiushan, deputy captain of the special training team in the prison, forced Sun to write the three statements renouncing Falun Gong. Zhang put Sun in a small isolated cell and sent inmates Xu Ziqiang and Yu Junjie to torture Sun in the first cabinet of the small cell. The prison guards put 63 pounds of handcuffs and foot shackles on Sun and fastened them to a metal ring on the ground. Sun was forced to stay in a curled up position. Xu Ziqiang then started to violently beat and kick Sun on his head, chest, back, rib cage, and legs. Sun was injured everywhere and passed out. They tortured Sun for four days straight and caused him to lose control of his bodily functions. Inmate Xu Ziqiang said arrogantly, "Captain Zhang (Jiushan) sent me to "transform" you. If you don't "transform," then we'll beat you to death and cremate you. At most, I'll get three years." The inhumane torture almost caused Sun to suffer a mental collapse.
During an interrogation on March 18, 2004, Zhang Jiushan ordered janitor Guan Dejun and inmates Liu Yanpeng, Jin Zhidong, Li Donghui, and Liu Zhongli, to torture Sun for the unsatisfactory answers he gave. They ordered Sun to stay in a squatting position with his head against the wall until midnight. If Sun moved a little he was beaten. During the daytime, Sun was forced to stand the entire time without rest. This lasted for more than a week. Inmate Guan Dejun told Sun, "Captain Zhang wants me to teach you a good lession." Inmate Liu Zhongli said, "Captain Zhang said to beat you until you are on your last breath."
Sun was traumatized in both body and mind. In order to cover the crimes, Sun was transferred to a different place for further persecution.
Practitioner Mr. Li Huifeng lived in the Tiefeng District of Qiqihar City. On the night of Jan 22, 2001, Li was at the home of another practitioner. Members from the third middle team of the Qiqihar vice squad broke into the practitioner's home and beat and arrested both practitioners. Officers from the fifth middle team shocked Li's private parts and burned his skin with an electric baton. The police hung him up by his wrists and tortured him. Afterwards, Li could not lift his arms for six months. The next day, Li was sent to the Qiqihar Second Detention Center and illegally held there. On January 24, 2002, Li was sent to the Harbin Prison special training team. In July 2001, Li was unlawfully sentenced to 12 years imprisonment. Li was dissatisfied with the verdict and appealed. The court verdict of the second trial however, stated that Li accepted the verdict of the first trial and hence would not appeal.
In the special training team, captains Huang and Gong sent Li to a small isolated room to be tortured because Li refused to obey the verdict and admit the "crime," and he protested the persecution. The prison police ordered inmates to watch Li. At that time, the weather was cold and the police deliberately opened the windows to freeze Li. Every day Li was given a little corn porridge. After 39 days of persecution in the small cell, Li was on the verge of death and was let out. Fifteen days later Li was sent to the sixth prison ward. Officers Tang Xinmin and Zhu Wenchen tortured him, ordered inmates to watch him and restrict his freedom, denied his family visits, confiscated objects his family sent him, withheld his appeal materials, pressured him mentally, and forced him to do labor work.
Chen Shuhai, a Harbin Prison leader, and Li Fucai, a 610 Office agent, often forced practitioners to watch videos that slandered Falun Gong to brainwash them. They also forced practitioners to write collective reports on their thoughts and the three statements to renounce Falun Gong. In 2004, a policeman ordered inmates to beat practitioner Wang Dayuan to death. On July 1, 2004, in order to conceal the incident, the Harbin Prison transferred all the practitioners to Daqing Prison, Tailai Prison, and Mudanjiang Prison for further persecution. Li Huifeng was transferred to the Daqing Prison first prison ward first division. Currently, Li is still suffering from physical and mental abuse.
5. Appeal from Cheng Peiming's Family
From July 20, 1999, when the persecution began, to July 20, 2005, Cheng Peiming was held in six different detention centers and prisons. The following is a brief summary of the persecution Cheng suffered during the past six years.
A. Cheng Peiming was tortured in the Jixi City Jiguan District Public Safety Bureau. He was forced to sit for over 36 hours on a small, short iron stool, and they used a hard rod to forcefully press against and roll over his legs and ribs. They wrapped a plastic bag over his head. Cheng told them not to persecute the practitioners, but they said that they derived pleasure from practitioners' suffering.
B. At the Jixi Detention Center Zhang Yi (deputy director) led approximately six people to shock Cheng with electric batons in a small room for three days, and place heavy shackles on him (weighing approximately 53 lbs.) for twenty days. Officer Dong (last name) ordered inmates to strip Chang naked and threw a large cat to Cheng, causing the cat's claws to poke into Cheng's flesh. They electrically shocked Cheng seven times (the Minghui/Clearwisdom website has a detailed report).
C. Approximately six police officers from Jixi City, Hongxing Township brutally beat Cheng for two hours.
D. The Harbin Prison special training team is an even more evil place where Falun Gong practitioners are persecuted. They chained practitioners to metal rings attached to the ground and made them wear 80-pound iron shackles. Captains in the special training team, Huang Zhimin, Zhang Jiushan, and Gan Bo, ordered 4 inmates, Zhang Kejun, Zhang Xiaofeng, Ni Jie, and Zhang Yong, to torture Cheng Peiming, including pinching hard on his testicles, flicking his eyeballs, kicking him hard on the chest and back, and stuffing his mouth with a towel. The inmates said, "The government will back us up if we kill you." (the Minghui/Clearwisdom website has a detailed report).
E. In the Daqing Prison, Cheng Peiming was hung by his handcuffed wrists, suspended off the ground. Cheng ended up with severe injuries on his head and arms. He sustained an almost 1 inch cut on his head and 2 cuts on his arms both stretched 1.2 inches. Cheng was taken to the Daqing City Hospital on the night of November 16 due to profuse bleeding. The city hospital did an open surgery on his left ribcage. The incision was almost 12 inches long, with over 100 stitches. Forty-six of them were on the skin. Cheng stayed in the hospital for six days before he went back to Daqing Prison. He was then still locked in a small cell wearing handcuffs and shackles with a wood rod stuffed in his mouth. He was tortured for 10 days before they took out the stitches. Officer Dong Menghuan would not allow Cheng to take a shower for 3 months (the Minghui/Clearwisdom website has a detailed report).
F. On May 13, 2005, Captain Pan Shaolin ordered inmate Zhen Yingjie to choke Cheng Peiming to death in the water supply room and promised Zhen 5000 yuan afterwards. Zhen ordered Chang Hongbao to kill Cheng but Chang reported this to the prison authorities. The prison authorities covered up for Zhen and even tried to harm Chang. They put the word "prisoner" on the new clothes Cheng's family bought him. Cheng argued with Pan and Pan said, "You have not been choked to death, have you?"
The above statements are all true. Practitioners' lives are not guaranteed in the Daqing Prison. We hope the international human rights institutions can lend their support and help.
Cheng Peiming's family members: Cheng Peipei and Cheng Jinzhi

Uncle disappears
Wang Boru's uncle Wang Xiaofeng, 34 years old, graduated from the Faculty of Industrial Foreign Trade, Industrial and Commerce Administration College, Chongqing University. He was part of the marketing staff for the Hebei Province Glucose Factory until he was re-assigned to an affiliated company, Hebei Shengxuekanghua Medicine Limited Company. His leaders, recognizing him for his hard, honest work ethics, promoted him to Chief of Marketing Section. He was responsible for negotiating with customers and team leaders, and got along well with his colleagues. After July 20, 1999, when Jiang's regime forced the whole society to participate in persecuting Falun Gong, police frequently went to his work unit to make trouble for him. Such interference frightened his supervisors. To lessen the pressure on the employers, Wang Xiaofeng quit his job and searched for another. The company management issued him one month's salary to make up for his loss, and wanted to help him financially to set up his own company, but Xiaofeng politely turned down the offer.
Wang Xiaofeng used to be hot tempered. In his youth, he was notorious in his hometown for fighting with others. He played practical jokes on others, so, his family members, classmates and acquaintances avoided him. Practicing Falun Gong made him broadminded and tolerant. He began to study and work hard, and quickly became a pleasant young man. Later, wherever he worked, leaders and colleagues all gave him a high evaluation. When Jiang's regime escalated the persecution, the persecutors adopted methods of tracking, monitoring, checking ID, and threatening practitioners. This forced him to move again and again, frequently changing his job. His wife and baby, left on their own, had no choice but to endure their difficult, homeless state. Their life was very difficult. When the baby grew older, they bought two rib bones to make soup to nourish the baby, unable to afford to buy more than two bones at one time. When he heard his wife's life was in danger, he hurried to the hospital, but his wife Feng Xiaomin had already lost consciousness.
Wang Xiaofeng, Feng Xiaomei, and her husband are reportedly on the Shijiazhuang Police Department's 610 Office black list and are currently being pursued. In tears, Wang Xiaofeng parted forever with his wife and was forced to leave his one-week-old son.
Similar tragedies are taking place constantly throughout China under Jiang's political villain group, who claim China is experiencing "the best human rights period in history."
Wang Xiaofeng's whereabouts and circumstances are unknown. The rest of Wang Boru's family wishes him to be strong and determined, because Falun Gong illuminates a practitioner's heart/mind.
Suffering mother
In June 2004, her younger sister's death gave Feng Xiaomei a heavy blow and devastated her. She lost her younger sister when she had barely recovered from her own husband's death. After July 20, 1999, the two sisters encouraged and helped each other. They resisted the persecution together, overcame numerous tribulations, and were very good friends. Feng Xiaomei works hard to make enough money to get by. Life is hard, and she is tired, but still very optimistic and steadfast.
Grandfather passed away
Wang Boru's grandfather was a retired teacher. He was a target of persecution during numerous CCP political movements. He was extremely afraid of the CCP's violence and cunning. The death of Feng Xiaomin, his youngest and most beloved daughter, devastated him. Grandson Wang Tianxing was only one year old when his mother Feng Xiaomin passed away. He kept looking for her and held to her clothes, saying, "Don't touch this. It's mommy's."
Wang Boru's grandfather thought his son-in-law Wang Xiaofeng would be abducted sooner or later. He often cried worrying about his oldest daughter, because she would not be able to take care of two children on her own.
The police often came to harass them with excuse of checking "temporary residential permit" and looking for Wang Xiaofeng. "After October 1, Feng Xiaomei saw that her father was reluctant and didn't want to eat., He was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Feng Xiaomei's father practiced Falun Gong for two months in 1999 and his tracheitis was cured through the practice. After July 20, 1999, the police often harassed him and he lost the courage to practice. He did, however, believe in the power of Falun Gong. But he was afraid of being harassed by the police and had not resumed his practice. He passed away, grieved, fearful and confused.
16-year-old Wang Boru
Wang Boru's parents were abducted when he was ten., Two years later, his father was illegally sentenced to forced labor, and at the same time, his mother decided to go into exile. A month later, his mother was dying. His father grew weaker and eventually passed away, followed by his aunt. His grandfather who used to help Wang Boru with his homework also passed away.

Wang Boru is now 16 years old. He lived through many tribulations unimaginable to his peers. At age 10 he lived in the streets. He witnessed a police mob raiding his home again and again. He was threatened and interrogated when visiting his parents at the labor camp and at the police department. Later, he experinced the life and death separations with his loved ones in the morgue.
Because of the persecution against Falun Gong, Wang Boru didn't reveal the cause of his father's passing to his teachers and classmates, fearing prejudice. He became even more introverted and is reluctant to go to school. When the pressure is too great, he simply looks lost and numb. His mother is taking care of the whole family and is often busy working; she leaves home frequently to run errands and can give him little attention.
Wang Tianxing is now three years old. He once asked the name of his mother because his kindergarten teacher asked each child to remember his or her parents' name. He also asked why his father never picks him up. He changed a children's song, "the baby is good, and mommy takes him home" into "the baby is good, and grandma takes him home." People who know his story felt very bad for him. He also sang, "I have two small hands." He dresses himself, washes his hands and walks by himself. He tries his best not to bother his grandmother.
