My name is Yao Yao and I am 10 years old. I am a fourth grader.
Nowadays [Chinese] TVs, radios, newspapers and government officials all give bad press to Falun Dafa. But I think Falun Dafa is very good.
Why do I think so? I suffered from bronchitis and pneumonia previously. In the winter what I feared most was catching cold and having fevers. If I ever caught a cold and had a fever I would develop bronchitis or pneumonia. Then I would be given injections and take medication. Even my urine had the smell of medicine. How painful it was to receive an injection! How bitter the medicines tasted! How painful it was to suffer from a cold and a fever! Therefore I was very afraid of getting ill.
After I started practicing Falun Dafa in November1997 all of my diseases went away. I did not have to take medicines anymore. Falun Dafa has given me a new life! If I had not been practicing Falun Dafa, perhaps I would not have been able to stay away from injections and medicines for the rest of my life. See how marvelous is Dafa!
Following Master Li's teaching, we do everything based upon "truthfulness, compassion and forbearance", the characteristics of the universe. We are considerate of others in everything and every circumstance, and cultivate righteous thoughts of selflessness. In school if other classmates bullied me I would not get even. Once it was our team's turn to do cleaning. All of the other teammates went home. Only I was left. It was a big classroom with 80 seats. I cleaned it all by myself. It was very dark when I left the classroom. I still had a lot of homework to do. I was a little angry. However, I realized very quickly that Dafa practitioners are people who always think of others first. My anger immediately disappeared. If I had not cultivated Falun Dafa, I would have gone home just like the other classmates, and left the classroom unclean.
In 1998, I donated 100 Yuan to the people in flooded areas using the money I saved from a New Year's gift. It was the largest amount donated in our school. The principal praised me. On the Tree Planting Festival in 1999, I donated 50 Yuan to Min-Xin River and I was No.1 again. Only after I cultivated Falun Dafa could I do this Therefore, Falun Dafa is really the cultivation way that teaches people to be good. If anyone does not believe it, he should try it himself. Then he will be able to tell clearly good from bad. Right now Dafa, our Teacher and practitioners are suffering under persecution. If I do not step forward to reveal the truth to the public, when will our Teacher not feel wronged and not be slandered? When will the practitioners in jails be released? When will all of Dafa practitioners be able to get their freedom, and fly happily like birds in the sky?
Therefore I want to tell the truth to everyone.
